PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (CBS12) — Match three of TGL was the first match that did not end in a blowout. That said, the New York Golf Club was still shutout. The Atlanta team led by Jupiter resident Justin Thomas and former Florida Gators star Billy Horschel, along with Patrick Cantlay dropped New York to 0-2 on the season with a 4-0 victory. Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick and Jupiter resident Rickie Fowler were in action for New York G.C. as Xander Schauffele sat out.
The TGL (TMRW Golf League) is an innovative golf league created by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and sports executive Mike McCarley in partnership with the PGA Tour. TGL combines traditional golf play with elements of simulated indoor golf. Matches are held on a virtual course with a special short game area.

Match four next Monday will feature Tiger Woods vs. Rory McIlroy as Jupiter Links takes on Boston.
