Getting ready for the Disc Golf Expo 2025 next week I am preparing my bag to play Maple Hill and Meadowbrook if weather permits. I need to choose my colors, grippiness and flight characteristics wisely. Let’s walk through my thoughts and let me know if you have any helpful ideas for me.

Glad to see you heading up again. Will you be sharing a booth with Robbie C again??
If you find yourself with enough extra time for one more course, I can't recommend the new Mile Marker 63 disc golf course enough. It was designed by Simon Lizette and Casey White and it's only 20 minutes from both Maple Hill and Pyramids. Either way, it sounds like you've got a great trip planned. I'll be sure to say "hello" at the expo!
Hi Pete – are you planning to come to the Texas expo in March?
You got me with that "I can quit any time" line.
Isn't the water going to be frozen up there?
I love your videos. Great videos
For the snow, I drag my bag on a small toboggan. Glad you figured out the idea behind tape and ribbon. They are a necessity for drivers, and some midranges. Putters, unless on a major hyzer, just glide across the snow without going in too deep. It also sounds as if you are heading to Boston during a cold snap. I hope you own longjohns. I usually pack 8-9 discs. One putter, three fairways, two midranges, and a Järn. I am not sure if Robbie C covered them, but House of Discs (Trilogy) released a new grippy premium plastic last year. Frost – Latitude, Elasto – Westside, and Fluid – Dynamic Discs. Even wet, they still had grip. BTW, watching you flip those discs up is fun. We don’t often see you throwing distance drivers. You will have to do a recap letting us know what if you lost any discs.
G-star is the best cold weather plastic
Esp plastic is terrible in the cold.
