Testing and reviewing the NEW PXG Secret Weapon Mini Driver #pxg #secretweapon #minidriver
In today’s video we take a look at the NEW Pxg Secret Weapon Mini Driver with Master Club fitting and builder Sam Smith, owner of www.golfrepairs4u.co.uk
This started as an every day golf club test review, but we soon discovered something very exciting!
I can’t wait to share this one with you… Let’s just say, the PXG Secret Weapon could be a problem club for everybody on the market, players, fitters and the other golf brands…

So who’s next with a mini driver? Which club do you take out to put it in the bag? I don’t carry a 3 wood
Splendid review, fellas, like only you do.
Put the shorter shaft in your driver and test against the mini? Unless the mini can really be a regularly used fairway club I don't see the realistic point, unless you don't mind specialist clubs taking a spot. Right now the minis just seem like higher speed player clubs. Compare hitting the 460 driver with shorter shaft off the deck also!
3 wood on steroids 🤌🏼
This PXG club is rather unattractive. But PXG has not been noted for eye-candy when it comes to attractive club appearances. Mini Drivers are overblown and not nearly as popular as some claim. We see them hanging helplessly on racks.
Superb PXG mini driver review Gaz, looking forward to seeing Sam trying different shafts in that head and really dialling it in for you
Didn’t James Robinson have a specialist fitting for his TM Mini Brnr at SGGT
Gaz that's bigger than the 975D I have sat in the loft.
The D was 260cc and we hit them just fine…maybe try one of those against that mini-driver too? See how they both compare?
Looking forward to your next vlog when Sam gets into it…I always enjoy his knowledge 👍
Good review. Personally it’s not a 3 wood or a driver replacement for me. I ordered mine -1 inch to take yardage off so it’s a club to use on tighter par 4s which can be used so it’s 30 yards behind my driver but also 15 yards closer to the green than a really good 3 wood would have got. So basically, I used shaft length to make it go the yardage I want. But….. after mini driver my next club is 7 wood. That’s because I see no benefit of 3 wood off the deck, as that was getting me into difficult up and down positions. As trying to hit a 25 yard wide green from 250 was always most likely leaving a hard bunker shot. So now I just hit 7 wood 30 yards short of the green but that’s likely to be a relatively easy pitch up the green off fairway.
So basically. My mini PXG is shorter to make sure it doesn’t catch my driver up but I get the added forgiveness over a 3 wood and the same accuracy, but my approaches are shorter than a 3 wood would leave me, so that’s increases my birdie chances.
I can turn my driver into a 12 degree and grip down a bit. What would be the difference
Loved watching this video and the depth you’ve gone into to find where it can fit.
Keep up the good work Gaz!!!
yeah there is a BIG PROBLEM my bank balance, I want one haha
Great release from PXG, but the weights in the head as standard are absolutely bizarre. By proving 2 x 15g weights, you can't really adjust spin. Because is the 15g is in the front and back port, then you can only put the 15g in the side ports . Moving them anywhere else would create a fade/draw bias.
Mr Robinson should be worried 🤣🤣
Gary – Find a driver from about 20+ years ago and compare as that was the head size back then.
Let's see a fitting on this club. Move the weights and reduce the loft to see if this can replace the driver!
Super vid 👍🏻 got my eye on one of these, so more videos me ace
Hi great review can you please do a comparison PXG Mini Driver vs Taylormade BRNR mini Driver trying to pick one would be greatly appreciated thx cheers from Canada
Love the video. For someone with inconsistent misses with the driver, would you recommend this club or lessons?
He wants it as a driver replacement, high launch low spin off the yellow tee is perfect
How We’s doing!? We’s doing fine!
Great video lad while I have half a shilling playing in the background. Nothing offensive nothing blue!!!
Brilliant results there, and that's before it's even tweaked! I'll bet you don't take driver OR 4 wood out of the bag though…maybe drop a wedge, or putter? 😂😂😂
