ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.

I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.

2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver

  1. Enjoyed that information Danny. I am R/Handed. I must lift my left heal as the paint is worn off my left golf shoe where the big toe is 😊

  2. I think this might be the best video you have produced. I can easily take each of these to the driving range to practice, and hopefully improve!

  3. More fantastic information Danny how I wish we had this years ago 69 now love my golf but all this great information was missing when I needed it. Thank you again 👍🏻

  4. these are great tips to always remember before you go out to play. especially the one with the feet closer together. I find it really keeps you centered and hitting the ball much better.

  5. This was "brilliant" made a huge difference. I practice each pillar prior to tee off, and once on course to Pillar 2, 4, 5 before each shot (quickly) Working on #6 not quite there yet.

  6. Danny, my normal ball flight is a slight draw. But when I move the ball back to make better contact I usually shank it or hit it weakly to the right. Any suggestions for why that might be happening or how to adjust to it??

  7. Hi Danny, excellent video again. I have always struggled with shifting weight to my left side. I have had a light bulb moment 💡🙂 For a drill, If I put a heavy French Boule down instead of a golf ball, address the ball, move my left foot to the right about 6 inches then in one movement push the boule and move my left foot back to the normal set up position. Do you think this will help me to shift my weight to my left side. Cheers Clive

  8. Another great video Danny, many thanks.

One quick question on driver ball position please. You're saying in line with leading big toe but I'm sure a lot of your earlier videos has just inside leading heal. Is there a difference?

  9. Hi Danny
Thank you so much!! I am in a senior community, so I have passed your name to friends who are looking to learn the game of golf. I a wonderful couple from Canada and needless to say they love you. there favorite video is with your father. Me too. Thank you

  10. Great lessons Danny. My back was in rancid condition yesterday and today so I had to do a lot of those gentler, softer approaches to hitting the ball – barely swung driver. I’m a 63 year old, 17 handicapper and I hit almost every fairway and did a 91 then 86. I’m never going back to swinging like a lunatic again. My back will love me😊.

  11. Thanks Danny. The slow swing before fast is something I’m going to try with my pitching. I’ve been struggling with that aspect of my game. I need to just get some confidence with a slower swing. Thanks.

  12. Hi Danny,
i am a fully golf infected beginner from Germany (HC37) playing since 1,5 years and you are my favourite coach. Wish you were based in Germany! 😉

  13. I lost my feel and swing with my woods and driver. It was so frustrating. But after watching your setup for driver and swing with step by step clearly explained ive realized what was missing. Your grip certainly was a part of my issue. Thankyou for your assistance in me starting to enjoy my woods and driver again.

  14. I've found that keeping the ball back in my stance and keeping the face slightly open really helps with my over the top swing style. Before, I was pulling everything.

  15. Feet together drill. One of the simplest and best drills in the business. My coach in NZ, who also taught Grant Waite, still uses this drill today. But, feet together, touching.

  16. You are one of my favorite youtubers @DanielMaude. I almost always learn something interesting and new with your videos.

  17. Wonderful video. I want to see you play 18 holes. Find someone (pro like you) to play with. I'm sure the video would get lots of views and likes

  18. Thanks Danny (again) cant wait for the season-25 to start. Your videos and tips are so great and easy to adapt. Being +60 I specially enjoy your tips for a body not as flexible as a 25 year old….
