think the hammer thing would work better if each team had 2 or 3 hammers instead of passing one back and forward
think its going to rely on the personalities of the players and how much they put into it and could imagine it could become a nuisance for them with extra travel etc.
Found it to be more of an exhibition event – dont care about the teams and dont think i ever would

I think TGL has the potential to gain a following. However, the only way it will take off is, if you get the every day golfer in the league stadiums. If you don’t generate interest from the “weekend warriors” there won’t be enough excitement from a fan base.
TGL and Simulator Golf may HAVE to be the future in the USA. Trump is back in the Office soon and with his views on Border Security and " Illegals" the Clubs might have problems due to the big drop in the Course and Green maintenance workforce!

It would be awesome if they had some kind of raffle or system to have pro-am events as well. Meet and greets and the like.
Typical PGA only interested in the US. They need to make it worldwide. This is where the whole issue is.

Agree TGL is 100% US centric. Not only the time but the commentary was NFL and baseball cliches we have idea what they mean.

I could only watch 3 holes. It was fake and boring AF. Watching real golf is absolutely the most boring thing in the world. Not anymore! This is trash.
TGL is not for the older players that love golf for what it is which is fine this is to bring a new generation to the sport
and keep the game upto date with other sports..
any criticism at this point is ridiculous 24 hours after the first match i beleive this will only help the sport grow and

Team golf just like LIV, but this is a shitfest. 5 minutes in and it was back to watching Deadwood on Paramount.

No, TGL is not real golf, but it is real entertainment. It's a good off-season idea to maintain interest in the game, but I'm curious as to why they launched it just as the 2025 PGA season begins in Hawaii. In a couple of weeks it will be on the West Coast, and then in Florida by March. I can't see PGA players making time for this during the regular season.

No matter how hard they're trying, the world doesn't actually want more golf. PGA golf on Sunday afternoons is as much as the world ever wants, imo
I didn’t mind it, its different and looks a bit of fun, its quick compared to proper golf and built for those with short attention spans.

It was like watching paint dry. The players need to start trash talking each other and start really showing their personalities. Because honestly that is what they are selling, not the golf.
Yet again its behind a paywall, to succeed it needs to be on free to air TV for at least a couple of years. I think that's the hook LIV has, I've watched and enjoyed LIV for the last 3 seasons simply because its free on YouTube

Watched it for a few minutes,got bored of it ,it is just another money making exercise, would prefer to watch liv golf at least they hit shots in to proper greens and have proper hazards,just sort out your difference with Liv and get back to playing proper golf with all the best players in the world.
