Today, Ian and Mikey are still in California to check out TaylorMades new Qi35 Fairway Woods and Hybrids. Qi35 Fairway Woods are designed for the widest array of golfers. Their shallower profile allows golfers to experience distance while the overall shape provides versatility from the tee and off the deck.
The Qi35 fairway woods allow golfers to unlock another level of optimization through the incorporation of 4° loft sleeves in all 3-woods and 5-woods and the Qi35 Tour 7-wood.

No tour hybrid model? There are dozens of us who liked that shape! (lol)
Don’t you guys get tired of these companies promising the world every year
Genuine excitement from Ian on the core model! Looks like a good fairway with adjustability!
When the Taylormade guys is telling you that you should see this go a little more left – probably really super draw-biased. Wish a company would make a fade version of the max product for the guy whose miss is the strong grip closed faced slight pull and has lost golf tournaments hitting one ball OB left.
One ball left is one too many for a lifetime!
They finally brought the adjustment to the core lineup for the fairway wood and hybrid
„we won every major.” … since when is Bryson using TM woods?
I had an epic sub zero 8 degree for 7 years and just changed to the krank fire pro at 6 degree. It’s the loft of the club that matters not the paint job.
Strong lofts on drive and woods then soft on everything else and you’ll probably drop your handicap by 3-5
I like the TM adjustability sleeve down into the 5 wood, smart. Callaway has missed the boat on that the last couple models only having adjustments in 3 wood. A lot of us have long ago gone 5 wood as the longest wood and want that versatility. In my old epic flash, I can make it from a 4 wood to a 7/heaven wood, built on a slightly shorter shaft. I do think this qi35 lineup looks great at address, albeit a slightly darker grey would be better to my eye, but… beggars can't complain…nor afford a 350 buck fairway probably. 🙂 Looks better than the qi10 to me.
Are good quality shafts being offered
So it looks like they just change the weight configuration year after year. Nothing ever really changes. But if my first hit was 240yrds with it, I would have handed it back to him and said thanks, but no thanks.
Are these better than Ian’s old Taylormade fairway? Although I do like the white line on the top of the face!
TM fairways have some of the hottest faces, I just couldn’t handle the bonded hosel in the pedestrian model, if they all come with adapters maybe one is in my future.
Taylormade QI 35 LS and Tour 3 wood will immediately be in my bag
Excellent review. These look like fantastic performers.
These look really nice but I think they peaked with SIM2
Looks like we might have found my dream 2 hybrid 17° with a sleeve and stay on top of it keep talking baby PERFECT!
