  1. Great video as always. I love watching your reviews. I tried Mizuno’s once I honestly didn’t like them weird but I didn’t but another awesome video thanks.

  2. Very nice looking iron. Neither a light or graphite shaft unfortunately for me judging by the review. My old JPX 919 forged had better lofts with the 7 iron at 32°.

  3. Greetings from Moncton New Brunswick
I hate to correct you, however the kbs c taper light isn’t a graphite shaft. It’s actually a brushed steel.
I have these shafts in my AI 200s.

  4. Happy New Year Gabe.. nice review!! I love that they included some graphite shafts!! Some of us mere mortals prefer graphite shafts

  5. A couple of things here; the C-taper lite is not graphite. It’sa steel shaft. Also the head is not 100% forged. Not knocking the irons. I’m sure they are good, but there are some details here that may need to be researched. Here is a clip from My Golf Spy:
“For the 925 Forged, Mizuno uses new, multi-million-dollar forging machinery and a new process to make the face even thinner. Instead of forging the entire head, Mizuno now is single-billet forging the neck, face and topline and welding on a 431 stainless steel sole piece.”
So it’s part forged and part SS. The face design is very similar to Callaway’s Cup Face Technology.

  6. Nice! As a Mizuno guy, I prefer the running bird design on the toe like 923 Forged. Black version looks so cool. The sole grinds are always solid and makes it clean through the turf. Feel is always top notch. Well done.

  7. These look pretty awesome…As I get to my mid 50s and always played blades, I’m trying to find a club that isn’t too chunky but provides a bit more help getting it in the air and distance…I tried the HLs and they are way too chunky and way too much offset for me…Tried the 923 HMPs…still too chunky for me…hoping these fit the bill, though my Miura KM700s and Titleist T150s will be hard to dethrone in the bag(s)!

  8. Are you sure about the numbers in the table at 1:50? They happen to be identical to those of the JPX 923 Forged. I've just seen another video on the 925 Forged, and the PW and GW lofts were given as 43 and 48 degrees respectively, with other slight differences, e.g. offsets.

  9. Everyone correcting you here in the comments, when they should be saying, you're swing looks great. Looks like your game has really improved, well done.

  10. Mizuno, Gabe deserved a complete set. Hmmm… If I buy these 3 clubs… Just kidding… Would have been nice to see the other clubs in action–Mizuno… Gabe, always a quality review with whatever you swing. Great range spotter! Thanks!

  11. They look nice, especially the black. However, the black Vice VGI01 irons look even better. Thus the question, will you be testing Vice golf clubs this year? From other reports they are great clubs and both options are very forgiving irons.

  12. Take my money on the blacked out irons 💸
I currently play the Mizuno JPX 923 Forged and I absolutely love them
Keep up the great job on your videos 👏🎉

  13. I love those sole grinds. I have been on a search to replace my favorite iron of all time which was the Mizuno MX-20. Those too had a great grind to the sole which allowed me to play on any turf condition. I was living in Japan at the time and their courses are WET! I also got to play in Hawaii and in Florida. Bermuda is not my friend. But I couldn't blame my clubs. 😂 Love the look of the black irons but I've found that all irons with that finish always feel harsher than the chrome model. You can almost tell you're hitting a Mizuno just by the sound.

  14. Great review… surprised that they weren't a little more workable…. That shaft is excellent… It's what I've played forever… Question.. can you please review the new Phantom GPS that has slope? I'd love to see how it compares to a rangefinder with slope

  15. As much as I love the JPX Forged lineup [I owned the JPX Forged 921], it seems to be in such a strange place in the line up with the JPX HMP on one end and Mizuno Pro 245 on the other. Sure you could call it a ‘tweener’ or a bridge set between the JPX and MP lines, but I think it’s unnecessary. I got fit for the 245 a year ago and find it delivers on feel, looks and performance— for basically the same price.

  16. When your natural shot shape with a mid iron us a sweeping “draw” (some would say hook) I think it’s a stretch to ding the club because you couldn’t muster up a cut on demand.

  17. Did he ever answer the question that is the topic of the video? Are they better than the hot metal?
