The Lions defense is a disaster and i think they are quietly panicking, knowing they have to face Darnold, Jefferson, Addison, Hockinson, Jones. And the Lions offense must also deal with a top tier Viking defense that is loaded with talant. Even the crappy 49'ers were able to score 34 points against the Lions and kept it within 6 points. I see the Vikings easily scoring over 30 points in this game and I can't see the Vikings giving up over 30 points in this game. 38-27 Vikings
We all have said the Vikings have not played their best game yet not nearly and I 100% agree this Sunday night you'll see it the best game they have will play all regular season Vikings 41 Lions 29
I watch that kid kick for Alabama didn't you set all the National Collegiate records he had a thigh injury he's ice cold clutch I have no worries in Reichert we are very lucky to have that boy
The Minnesota Vikings don't have to win on field goals every game we have the kicker that can do it but this game is going to be won by more than three points it's going to be at least an 11-point win Vikings 41 Lyons 29
Vikings 41 Lions 38
Defense shows up and forces a 4 and out in under 5 minutes left and Vikings go down eat clock and kick a chip shot field goal right after the two minute warning, extending the lead to two score and win 38-28
Vikings please blitz and leave the old men in the secondary to fend for themselves
I’ll just put this out there bc I think it’s getting overlooked by a large portion of the local media and fans:
Sunday night will be the biggest game of Justin Jefferson’s, Sam Darnold’s, KOC’s, and Brian Flores career.
And outside of A. Jones and
H. smith….you could probably say the same for the rest of the starting roster.
If KOC playcalling doesn't drop 50+ on that lions pee wee defense, vikings will not make the nfc championship.
Vikings unsung hero: QB coach Josh McCown, working hand and glove with Samwise and helping him progress.
KOC & FLO are elite. Loved they emphasized better tackling by the secondary & drilled it a few weeks back when they had extra days. Flores defense will force Goff to get ball out quick. If Safeties & CBs (Problem) do not come up and tackle well – The Vikings pass rush will be neutered. Its the playoffs. Margins are small. Goff is a statue. Great perimeter tackling vs Lions quick game, can force Goff to hold ball on 3rd & longs. SKOL – Great segment Mr. Coller & Mr. Kramer!
Not worried about A. Jones and fumbling anymore. Not because he couldn't fumble. Any player with ball can fall victim to a punch out. I'm not worried because Aaron Jones has completely changed his ball security process. Watch him now. When Jones sees contact close, he holds ball high and tight and brings second hand over. Every time. Jones is a Pro's Pro. He took accountability and made the changes that needed to be made.
Agree on Refs concern you mentioned. Bellicheck & Pats won Superbowl vs Greatest Show on Turf by having his secondary grab WRs almost every play. In that game, Refs just stop throwing flags on the constant pass interference. The Greatest Show on Turf was ironically beaten in this Superbowl game because an officiating crew not wanting to determine the SuperBowl outcome… Ended up determining the outcome by allowing the Patriots secondary to grab the Rams talented RB and WRs.
Matthew, as far as KOC's trick plays, don't forget, Ryan O'Neil started out as a Tight End coming into college
Aaron Jones is the body punches that opens up the knock out punch.
Of course there is manipulating ( refs) going on.yed
I prefer not to have the Lions coach to pick out his favorite REF for the game which I actually hope not cuz it's the NFL office to make the decision only!!
I generally agree with Matthew on most points. However, you can sign me up for trick plays. I want to see everything this brilliant offensive mind (KO) can come up with.
Murphy is about to explode
The Lions ability to run after catch will be the difference of us winning or losing. We need to smother w great tackling.
We are not a trick play team we are an efficient team that needs to play our best game yet.
Haven't finished the video yet. Let me guess, Andrew picks to Vikings to lose.
The chess match truly is Detroit's offense vs Minnesota's defense.
DET's defense simply does not stack up to the personnel on the vikings offense. Pumped for the game. Skol
Single most important factors:
#1. Turnovers – Detroit cannot win without forcing turnovers
#2. 3rd and long – Vikings defensively love to give up 12 yards on 3rd n 15, bc normally that gets you off the field. However vs Detroit that’ll get you a bunch of crucial 4th down attempts. The Vikings cannot let up on 3rd n long @Detroit.
#3. 4th downs – goes hand in hand with #2 ☝️
