The Takomo irons are beautiful, but I can't believe Grant is leaving Taylormade. I always suspected they paid him VERY well to promote their products. I hope this doesn't mean Takomo is joining Taylormade.
Nice build. but a few comments/suggestions from a club builder myself. 1. The Golf works bench ruler is only accurate when the loft and lie are already set. 2. Suggest you get a digital weight scale with at least 2 decimal points and a digital swing weight scale with the amount of work you do. 3. You should have pured the shafts epecially KBS's, don't know if Grant is knowledgable enough about shafts to know that. Question, by using copper shims, I assume these heads have .370 hosels?
Lots of pressure on this build given Grant’s success over the last while. Good luck and congratulations. Getting on board with him will bring you much of the long green. No pun intended.😮😊
Do these show much marks when you loft and lie them? ie titleist cbs make a right mess.

Are those heads light? Or is the money taper slightly counter balanced? I know KBs tour is and was popular for that reason. I’d think you’d have to back weight them a bit at 1/2” over to get to d2.

Adam, another great build! I had Adam custom fit and build out my 201s and love them. Can’t wait to see which of these two sets @GrantHorvatGolfs ends up using. With the @BryanBrosGolf and now Grant, you should be expecting a large influx of new customers!
Someone help me understand— why use a standard grip and then add 7 layers of tape vs. using a medium grip and using less tape?

Hey man, nice job. As a current builder myself, noticed the slight tape build up/bunching from all those wraps. I found that using an old steel shaft or thick screw driver smooths that out. Running it up and down helps get rid of that and it won’t be felt under the grip. Hope that helps for future grippings. Keep up the good work.
I'm wondering why Grant is using the 101T and then the 301s instead of using the 201s.
Did you need any but weights to get to the D2 swingweight with te +0,5” longer build?
Why so many wraps of tape ? Why not use midsize grips ?

I just finished building my own set of Takomo 301cb's and they far exceeded anything I've been "fit" for or anything that I've had "custom built" by any of the big build/fitting shops.
