James, haven’t read all the comments so sorry if I’m repeating someone else but I’d love to know the cost of a fitting and shaft change (approx). People keep talking about doing that but I have no idea what it would cost. Otherwise, I would definitely be in the market for quality older clubs and a fitting. Cheers, great video from you guys again.
I’ve chased that feel and ball flight with other sets the past few years trying to “modernize” my clubs and still come back to these. I’m 63 years old and it is hard to get the distance / height with them.
I have a set of Mizuno T-Zoids that I got mostly just out of curiosity. Turns out they're my favourite irons to hit of all time and I have to think long and hard about whether I put them in the bag before every round. Feel like nothing else! Also +1 for that putt at the end, ridiculous.
Best looking yes (arguably with some titleist blades) best feeling yes, best performing hell no! they are not easy to hit and bad strokes will punish you.
Another fantastic video James. You should definitely go to SGGT and get fit with LA shafts in those beautiful irons. Chris, never take that putter out of your bag…. you putt amazing with it. God Bless y'all
Great episode love the walk down memory lane. I had an old set of Hogan plus 1 irons regular shafts. I loved the weight and narrow soles which seemed to help make my short game a little sharper than the shovels today.
I learned off of a set of PinHi forged irons with extra stiff steel shafts and zero offset so I was back at home when I returned last year to a pure forged iron in the 221 Pro. I understand why game improvement irons exist (golf is that hard that we need to make it easier for the hackers or they lose interest) but they are essentially corked bats. Baseball looks down cheating the game while golf promotes it. Just saying.
I've still got some Adams MB2 blade scoring irons in the bag. I still swear they are the best feeling club I ever hit, but I don't think I've hit the MP-32 so who knows? Everyone should experience a good blade and keep some around.
I had a set of MP67……..and they were the best feeling clubs you will ever hit…..they feel like they laid a piece of deer skin across the face and buttered it up with the finest butter
I played Mizuno MP 32s around 2004 or so. I still have them. They were great. They have traditional lofts, so the 7-iron has the loft of today's 8 or even a 9-iron. After I moved to Arizona I moved away from them because the lies in Arizona are tight and the ground underneath is hard. I needed something that was a little more forgiving in terms of ground interaction. I played well with MP 32s.
I actually have to completely agree these were are and might forever always be the greatest irons ever made….and for those that doubt that just go hit them they look fantastic and feel even more fantastic and I think anyone from a low single figures to a mid/hi teen handicap can hit these.

Nice putt Chris, nothing like making James lose it on the final hole!
The greatest iron ever made? It's before my time but it is the 1970 Wilson Dynapower Bulletback blade.! Hands down!
Ping eye 2 best iron ever!
I STILL game the MP 60's. Their brother. Amazing.
I've had 2 sets of 32's. Absolutely brilliant
You need to compare these to the MP-67 irons. The tech is called cut muscle.
Still have them still bag them! Bought in 2004.

Cobra Forged Tech X is the latest attempt.

Hogan ptx pro. Use them in the winter when have to play inside as I am In Michigan. Make me focus on strike. Great video!!
I play my dad's Ping i3 O, graphite irons. Love these and the memories. Watching from Oregon, my coffee and James/ Chris every morning.
I still playing mp60 ❤❤
I have a set of Mizuno Quad+, they must be 35yrs old 👌🏻
I have a set of MP68's that I love to bring out every so often.
Best looking yes (arguably with some titleist blades) best feeling yes, best performing hell no! they are not easy to hit and bad strokes will punish you.

Yes James! Would love to see those retro fitted for you! Definitely looking forward to that video. Great content as ALWAYS.

"Cut Muscle"?
I have owner 4 sets over the years and I agree they were an iconic Iron . Look and feel are amazing and some forgiveness.
Mp 87 here…love them
I had these back in the day and totally agree! Best irons I’ve ever had.
Although they were blades the 4-6 were still pretty forgiving.
Having flashbacks of hand ringing off center hits on a cold day. My beautiful mizuno stay in the basement where they belong, I play hybrids
Was so happy when you revealed Mizuno Mp’s! I have MP 29’s and they feel amazing 🤩
Still play with a gorgeous set of mp69s… still impressive today
They do look good James and what a cracking match
sorry but the mp33's are the BEST 😂

So these are in the bag?
Brilliant end. Though you did call it James. 😂
Still playing a set of TM RAC lt. Have demoed new irons but don't see that much improvement.
Every Pro I met prices the RAC .

😂 Chris dunks it!
I had a set of MP 60s that I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I have a set of 1982 Ping Eye 2 Copper Be's. 1 to SW.. Play em twice a year. LOVE them as much now as I did then.
You keep saying every set of irons is the best ever, just saying

A couple years ago my buddies told me these were the best blades ever… I take their word.

Had these in the cart for a few days. Can’t wait for them to be twice as expensive in a day
Best ever but you aren’t playing them?
