After adopting a new closed stance and backswing, Mike saw better shots and increase in distance! Hope you enjoy this golf lesson.

While this stance of course doesn’t work for everyone, for Mike it enabled him to better route his takeaway and backswing, and to produce a bigger turn. From there he could then return more from the inside to hit a more reliable push draw, and get rid of the pull that was costing him with his irons. The added windup also helped him produce more distance with less effort. For any senior golfer out there, this setup may be worth exploring to help you improve dynamics and to better Swing Like an Athlete!

  1. Online, Milo fixed my swing in one lesson – but also with a ton of repetitions of the drills that were critical for me. I love watching him give lessons to others, always seeming to know exactly what they need to change and how to make it feel simple. I've found that when my swing starts to stray, going back to the drills is the quickest way to fix it, rather than simply "trying to do it right" since the drills were needed to help me "do it right" in the first place. Even for, or especially for, the pros – the world's best athletes with millions of swing reps – drills aren't just bandages or building blocks, they're part of their daily routines.

  2. One online lesson from Milo "fixed my swing" – along with thousands of reps of the drills he gave me. I love watching his lessons and seeing how he always knows exactly what each golfer needs and some simple, clear ways of getting them to feel and understand it. When my swing strays, I find going back to the drills is the quickest way to fix it, but also realizing I should do them even when my swing feels great. I've noticed that the PGA stars – world class athletes with millions of swing reps – incorporate drills into their daily training. It's part of their maintenance routine, not just repairs for when the engine is running rough.

  3. Good morning, I am 53 5-10 and 320+lbs. I used to be a good golfer with clubhead speed over 120. Is there a different set up for very large golfers such as myself that will help get my body moving efficiently? I am currently swinging around 100 mph with driver and desperately wanting to gain 10 more mph. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5JXMrBUjoB0
