Today, Ian switches roles and heads to Oceanside, California to be fitted by J.J. Van Wezenbeeck, the Director of Player Promotions PGA Tour at Acushnet Company.

Come see what combinations work best for Ian and if he has found a new gamer!

The new GT line consists of three models. GT2 is designed for speed and forgiveness across the face with a higher-MOI setup. GT3 is designed for fine-tuned speed and control, maximizing distance and optimizing flight. GT4 is a low-spin, 430cc driver designed to eliminate excessive spin and deliver a fast, penetrating trajectory.

  1. When a fitting turns into a lesson, time to call it off. One good shot doesn't mean it's perfect fit. Its about the averages and managing the misses.

  2. What is meant by a 45 inch shaft? Does this mean that one inch is cut off a raw shaft, or does this mean the overall driver is 45 inches. If you have a 45 inch shaft, install the adjustable hozel, and the attach the head you have a longer driver than 45 inches. Any clarification?

  3. I wasn't a fan of the 2 in ANYTHING because "I don't like the shape, it's too bulky, I like to shape the ball & I'm also a very good driver of the golf ball" *put TSR2 in the bag .
Lost zero distance or shaping ability & hit more fairways. It took me about 3 rounds to forget I was looking down at a 2. Park the ego ppl. *TSR2- Ventus Velecore Blue 6s & avg 294.4 currently at 52 yrs old. Just sayin'.

  4. I think Ian needs a Qi Core 9 degree turned down with some toe hot melt. Get up to the Kingdom with Trottie and handpick a tour core model head measuring 8 base loft

  5. Yall need to do a video on swing weight and grip size. So many people and don't understand how much those two factors play into consistently delivering the club face. It would also be nice you guys to give the viewers a good way to determine what grip size they are without then having to go out and buy a ton of grips.

  6. After all that, Ian hits one bomb at the end and doesn't want to validate it with another? Makes zero sense.

  7. Could you please do a low spin low launch driver shaft comparison video update? Diamana WB, ventus black, tensei 1k black etc

  8. Crazy seeing Ian so inconsistent with driver. Proves that golf really IS a tough game. Didn't get the feeling that this fitting produced anything great for Ian. Must be a bit awkward when you are basically doing a promo for Titleist with the fitting and the product really isn't producing anything special..

  9. Um, seems like newest does not equal better. Trying to talk yourselves into believing the hype. Too much spin…. Stick with the Sim

  10. I don’t understand. If you hit the much more consistent forgiving Ping the same distance why use a low spin hard to hit driver?

  11. Looking into a new (to me) driver as I don’t have one right now, M2 finally cracked lol. Sim is one I’m looking at, it’s sure making a good case versus newer products haha
