caladonia is my fav course ever. and i've played a lot of them. m second fav in m.b. is arrowhead
caladonia is par 72.
your pretty rude there
I have been playing courses in Myrtle for over 20 years. Many courses you mentioned are over rated as well as their green fees. I found some the best courses are down south. Tradition and Wilbrook Plantation are both excellent courses at half the price the ones you mentioned. Also, the Wizard and the Man of War are fun courses. Keep River Club on your list as well.
I really enjoyed Thistle and Glen Dornoch as well as Tidewater
Sorry- you picked overpriced, overrated courses- there are numerous courses I the MB area that are in as good a shape and just as challenging as the courses you mentioned- and half the price- you scoff?? Try Meadowlands,River Hills, Thistle- all better in all aspects and half the price if not more- so hype the “ premium “ courses with the over priced green fees- $150-$185 and only fools and tourists will play there 5:50
Thumbnail is clickbait, this is not myrtle beach,. Missing homeless, blacks on japanese bikes, harley costumers, and rednecks with confederate flags throwing beer bottless on the blvd. Not to mention rampant drug sales and use.
Go to River's Edge
You need to play the courses yourself to have a better idea which ones are the best.

There are clearly a ton of courses in the area and prices have skyrocketed. However, for high caliber courses I think that that you’re reasonably spot on. I have been visiting and playing there for years and I think you could swap Caledonia and the Dunes, though. All of the Barefoot courses are nice. For some reason I prefer the Love course. Can you find cheaper courses? Yes, absolutely, but I would say a huge percentage of folks visit the area to play spectacular courses, not something similar to the muny’s in their home town, which some other commenters listed remind me of. Not ragging on those courses, they are nice enough. Just not “memorable” IMHO. Thanks for the work you do!
$475 to play Dunes Club without a member last time I was there . Definitely the primo golf course in Myrtle Beach and I’m pretty fortunate to have a friend I play there with 12-15 times a year.
