  1. He's not elite bro. If anything, he's given the benefit of the doubt over QBs who are less talented but have done more in the league. You can't make excuses for him every year. If so, that proves he's not elite.

  2. I love how this guy shakes his head when Nick says Herbert's come up short many times in his career…BRO DO YOU EVEN WATCH THE NFL? When has Justin ever done ANYTHING of consequence?

  3. As a 50 year old Chargers fan I already knew that Herbert is basically the modern Elway. Elway played with ONE Hall of Fame offensive player his first 6 years and that was tackle Zimmerman. Elway drug GARBAGE teams to the Super Bowl and lost to great teams and got labeled a choker. Once he got an offensive coach in Shannahan, a HOF TE in Sharpe, and a HOF RB in Terrell Davis he won back-to-back super bowls as an old player. THis is also the direction the CHargers need to go. ELITE RB and TE. Herbert also plays in Mahomes division. Elway was in the weaker AFC. Imagine how worse it would have been for him playing with Montana in his division.

  4. "Elite" is an interesting word. Define "Elite" or give me your Elite list.

    Because ELITE to me is
    Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson.

    Then VERY GOOD:
    Herbert, Goff, Hurts, Stafford..

  5. all the herb hatewatchers in the chat is crazy lmao anyone with eyes knows herbert is top 5 its mahomes allen burrow jackson and herbert if you cant see that i just think you dont know ball at this point brother

  6. Nick spends so much time getting to the conclusion that Justin Herbert is a special quarterback. This just seems so obvious to me, and not debatable. I mean, watch the games. Herbert finally has a great coach, so the team is doing better. But Justin's talent has been obvious (and on display) since he got to the NFL. Enough with these silly fake debates.

  7. LET'S DO A QB SWAP JSUT LIKE THE TV SHOW AND SEE HOW MAHOMES DOES WITH THE CHARGERS DURING BRANDON STALEY ERA

  8. I’d still take Tua over Herbert, who balls out behind no oline. Stop blaming the receivers like a little fanboy, he’s not elite, he’s top 10. I watch Justin miss a wide open receiver almost every game

  9. Again this whole “he has nobody to throw to” narrative is horrible. Lamar had the SAME OC and way worse receivers. Don’t wanna hear it.

  10. LOVE Herbert. I always felt "Play from behind" stats can be misleading. What if you are a good offense so you just don't play from behind as much? Lol

  11. There’s elite talent and elite execution. Herbert is elite talent with mediocre execution. Purdy is above average talent with elite execution. Mahomes has been elite talent with high execution moving to above average talent to elite execution. Allen is elite talent with high execution. Lamar is elite talent with above average execution. Caleb Williams is elite talent with below mediocre execution.

  12. Nick comparing purdy to Herbert when it’s been shown he doesn’t think purdy is good is crazy . This is the first year Herbert doesn’t have the stats and all of sudden he’s never had them. The graph Drue showed should tell you Herbert hasn’t been the issue . He gives the team the lead and the defense would always throw the game away

  13. Justin Herbert will always catch heat from NFL snobs like Wright because fools like Nick Wright feed off of once in a lifetime runs from guys like Mahomes, same arguments were made about the Patriots pre Belichick and Brady, and even Nick Wrights Chiefs, had to hear about what an idiot clock manager Andy Reid was, pre Mahomes… to many, yeah buts, from these jack asses… same thing happened to Stafford, it took him 13 years to win a playoff.

  14. Herbert was nothing special last night. What was special was how bad the refs were at hiding their bias. They called penalties on Denver that were not penalties and they kept the flag in their pants on many penalties they chargers committed such as the no call on the pass interference.

  15. Julian, I've been a fan for awhile and this is one of my first comments ever. I appreciate you always shedding the light for our boy Herbo. You know most of the people that speaks down on him obviously don't watch games and only watch highlights on ESPN. Imagine how scary we will be next year once we get that $100M cap to spend in the off season. This is just a sneak peak of how great the pairing is with Harbaugh and his coaching staff along with Herbo.
And for the record everyone, HERBERT BEEN HIM!!!! GO BOLTS!!!!!

  16. Herbert is easily the most overrated QB in the league. I was impressed with him last night because he came through and in the past, he never comes through with the game on the line. People have him in top 5 convos based on what? It’s always eye test. He hasn’t done anything in his whole career other than put up nice numbers and lose

  17. It’s frustrating to hear these media outlets spin these false narratives about Herbert’s game. Like saying he doesn’t show up in the big moments… he’s there 95% of the time! It’s his defense(week 18 22) that doesn’t show up!! It’s his coaches gambling(Staley) habits! It’s his recievers who drop easy passes(QJ and Palmer)! They are the ones who fail to show up consistently

  18. Nick wright is a chiefs homer so he I’ll always talk crap about Justin Herbert. Nick is always on his knees blowing Mahomes
