A highly anticipated Middleweight matchup between Alex Pereira and Sean Strickland happened at UFC 276. Many were excited for this bout due to Strickland’s critiques of Pereira’s kickboxing style and his belief that he could defeat Alex by only striking. Pereira would knockout Strickland in the first round and would later become Middleweight champion. But despite the trash talk from Strickland, there seemed to be a level of respect between the two fighters. A year later Strickland would travel to Pereira’s gym to train and learn from Alex what he did wrong in their matchup. After training together the two have showed support for each other’s careers publicly. #alexpereira #seanstrickland #shorts #ufc

  1. Shows how tough Strickland is. Get knocked out by somebody and say hey I can learn from him. Then train with him. That's mental strength.

  2. We all get the opportunity to be humbled from time to time. It’s up to us to practice humility. Good job, bro

  3. Smart Guy! Great dude. Strickland will be big. He acts like someone above the average. Awesome seeing maybe the two best ones in the word training together.

  4. The girls carried this presser ngl, I got Peña and Harrison winning their fights, then Harrison winning vs Peña in the future

  5. I feel Sean is like a actor of a serie movie that many love but when somehow he die, everyone is sad about that

  6. As much as people hate him, I personally love Sean Strickland. Dude holds back nothing and is unapologetically real.

  7. Strickland is truly a humble fighter. He might be a bully when training but when a guy beats him in a real way he goes straight to their gym and lets them bully him to learn. He doesn't care about losing he cares about getting better.

  8. As cool as it may be , I still think this friendship is kinda f*king whack, Strickland the biggest bully can’t bully Alex so instead he takes the knockout then trains w Alex against Alex’s biggest rival Izzy. Izzy losses to a boxer because he trains w an elite kickboxer now who is a contender for the same weight class. Then Alex moves up a weight class to train w Strickland and they never even got a rematch? Idk. Looks like a hide behind my big brother kind of moment and it’s annoying to see Strickland on top 👎🏾

  9. Commentators need to be fired, making it sound like it’s the closest fight they’ve ever seen when the standup was close and hooker had minutes of control time and takedowns
