  1. Love your reviews… would be more interested in a "Best performance" category to hear how you'd rank them based on how they perform.

  2. I ordered the OZ 1 last week. Did my own research and went with the putter I didn't even get to try yet. I hated the PXG. I could live with the Odyssey – not too bad. Hope my gamble pays off.

  3. I'd love to see the rest of these in LABs "Revealer". That Axis 1 looks nothing different than a center shaft with a stupid hosel design. The shaft follows straight into the top line, which leads me to think there will still be some toe hang, or be face balanced. The rest of these you can see the shaft follows behind the topline. I already ordered the OZ1i. I'm pretty excited to try it out

  4. I’d love to see a test with the lab in a counter balance setup. They offer one but I have yet to see a review or even a picture of a build

  5. Zero torque isn't really a lack of torque it's almost like a giant offset or built in "closed face" without looking closed in the playing position allowing a swing with less arc so the face is more likely to return to square or near square. When measured against high MOI putters the actual torque at impact is statistically identical on well struck putts. And many a center shafted or forward lead shafted putters perform functionally identical to so called zero torque putters for good pendulum swing golfers. Anyway, the term torque is misused in this branding. It's a marketing ploy but simpler than stating what is really going on. Will it actually help you? Maybe. But if you already own a high MOI putter especially one fitted to your natural swing path then you will probably notice little difference and might even putt worse. I know that for me I tried a LAB putter last year when all the hype started and made less putts on a test green than I did with either my more than 15 year old Maltby Xtreme moment center shafted putter or my newer but still several years old Odyssey, O-Work Marxman with the center shaft alignment plumbers neck. Since then I've tested the Axis1 not having a clue what it was but it was too funky not to try. It also failed to make as many putts as just about any other regular putter I pulled off the rack. I didn't have mine with me that night but it wouldn't have mattered. The Odyssey Jailbird has been the best for me so far but then it is also very similar in overall design and alignment to my current putters. And it's worth noting that there is no standard of measure in the industry to call your putter a zero torque putter. SO any brand can make the claim based on any set of parameters they want. What I said in the beginning is the design philosophy at play right now but torque isn't what's being measured. How much impact displaces your club face would be a measure of torque. What is currently being discussed as torque is a way to control arc and face angle prior to impact. Doesn't matter though. Ignore the hype and test for yourself. If a zero torque putter works for you then buy it. If it doesn't then it doesn't and there's no need to try and force it to because someone else thinks it should improve yuor game if it doesn't.

  6. So I use a forward press to start my putting stroke, would I have to change my stroke with the built in forward press of the LAB OZ.1i or just get the 0* shaft?

  7. You decided against the DF3… I’m surprised by that. I would have thought the viewers would have preferred the DF3 over the OZ.1, but you would know better than I would.

Love your content and appreciate you checking out the cheap clubs as much as the top-of-the-line stuff!

    God bless
