This May Be Philadelphia’s Most Serene Golf Course
In this video, I had the pleasure of trying to break 71 at Green Valley County Club. Located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suburbs, this course was once owned by William Flynn. Let me know in the comments what course you would like to see me at next!

First hole looks more like me and less like you….what happened?😃😃
I like your content, but i gotta give you a thumbs down for that fake ass, clickbait thumbnail.
There’s so much good public golf in the Philly and Philly-adjacent area I think you’d be doing a service to show off some of the best public courses regardless of price instead of clubs pretty much only the 1% get on. Yes, these courses deserve the love, but hard to relate to for most. Still good content overall!
Fellow GAP member, love the videos…if you haven’t already, check out Dan Grieve for short game woes, simple and effective
I love starting with doubles, golfs just too easy 😅 – another absolutely beautiful course. (Great vid)
today is monday dec 10 and it rained all day what's the course like now? wet. receptive. Can you tell me what driver you use? it seems to hit the ball really solid. it looks like a calloway ? your longer irons are solid but just pushed a little right. frustrating then when you pull one , eh? Great hole on 16. the hat is ok. can you play 36 holes? keep it going. Not a terrible round. Frustrating as it is , next round will be where you want it to be. Great content. id love to see you play with Grant Horvat.
Great round Jake!!! Looked super windy and the greens looked super tough!!!!! Always enjoy watching!!!!
This is down the road from my house. I always wonder how the course is when I drive by – nice to actually see it lol
Wyncote and Pilgrim’s Oak need to be on your list
Great video Jake, this is definitely a love it one minute and hate it the next kind of sport.
Great to see you get out to GV. Long time member and never knew about the quarry! Also, did a double take when you said 185 from the top of the hill on 9 😂
Couldn’t agree more about the hat. Some call it unstructured and others call it a slouch cap
Boring !
If you’re going to do YouTube; it’s best not to show so much frustration when you get to play a really nice course. Especially if it’s courtesy of a member.
Drive by this all the time. I need to start meeting private club members. Union League Liberty Hill is right near here and looks awesome too
Thanks for sharing your round. Beautiful course.
Not your best score but still some real good ball-striking; and you got your driver dialed in on the last few holes.
Lost tight gap match on 18 there this year he’ll of a track. If you ever wanna play spring mill in Ivyland please reach out would love to have you
Awesome track…Y didn’t u hit driver on #9?
I thought you were playing at Pine Valley
Love the content. I like how you hustle play golf.
I play by myself also
I play by myself also
I grew up learning golf from my father at Brookside CC (Macungie, not Pottstown) during the time he was also President of the CC. I would like to see that again in your future courses played. Nostalgia, don't you know? the course was always played by entertainers who were playing the Greater Allentown Fair.
Hate structured hats especially when you wash them you right they feel like a helmet lol I literally wear a hat always especially at work !!!
Man, your playing partner was so enthusiastic! What a guy! 😂 Great playing man and thank you for showing off a course that doesn’t get nearly the credit it deserves. Let’s run it back in the spring.
Love you content bro I’m a pa guy myself. I think you need to just play your game and quit trying to explain yourself. You think about the shot too much
Great vids and top notch courses. Come play Suneagles in NJ. It’s a Tillinghast with a ton of military history.
Great round and great videos; keep it up man! Philly golf was so firm and tough this fall with the drought. Courses were hard as a rock. Love getting a glimpse at all of these tracks that I've driven by but never gotten the chance to play… You seem to be ultra confident in the 2-4 foot comebackers, you're essentially automatic. What's your tip or main thought on those shorts putts? I swear I'm more confident from 8-10 feet then I am from 2-4, and I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just a mental thing. Thanks Jake!
I like these videos! gives me a chance to see the places I haven’t had opportunity to play yet. You should do Rolling Green or 1912 since you seem to like W. Flynn courses
Flynn is a stud. Wish my course had more respect for his work instead of doing their own thing
another sweet track jake!
YouTube took me to this video after a Bryan Bros. one. It was excellent, very well done. Was happy to see it’s Philadelphia, I grew up playing at Huntington Valley (also Flynn). I was a lucky guy. Keep up the great videos!
I agree with one of the comments that Wyncote should be on your list, along with Broad Run outside of West Chester and White Clay Creek in Delaware.
