Watch as Alabama QB Jalen Milroe finds 17-year-old WR Ryan Williams for a 36-yard touchdown pass on 4th down, but the TD was called back because of an illegal touching penalty. The penalty resulted in a loss of downs, causing a turnover. Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer was unhappy with the call.

😭😭😭😭😭We have never been the beneficiaries of horrendous calls ever. -Alabama fans. Woe is us.
Bama fans are national champion cry babies. Undisputed
Did the SEC confirm and acknowledge it was a horrible call by their refs????
Their was a penalty, but it wasn't Williams.
There is no one covering the LT. Unless the LT reported as eligible, this is an illegal formation.
It was a bad call. But way to go sooners
Bama fan here, it wouldn't have mattered the way they were playing, but that's the most insane call I've seen in a while. And the throw it AFTER the touchdown? Did the ref have a bet he needed to cover?
How can that happen???
There are so many former tide players who are sec football officials. Not to mention the amount of crimson worn inside the league office on dress down Fridays. The chickens are coming home to roost!😂😂😂😂
As I rate as people are about this call, Alabama still would have lost. Keep that in mind.
You notice the Biased Ref. stands on Ok. side of Field otherwise he may have been terminated by a justified Bama player.
Why didn’t he challenge it
If I'm DeBoer, we are holding up the game until Greg Sankey is on the phone to talk about reversing the call. I'm calling timeout, throwing the challenge flag, even having all 85 sit on the field to stop play until the SEC is on the phone. Texas fans threw stuff on the field and got their way. Unacceptable call.
So, how will this guy be held accountable for "stealing" the Bama touchdown?
Ref literally paid
Players can be penalized ( even though that was not a penalty), but referees cannot be.
College sports are all about 💰💰💰💰💵💵💵💵💰💰💰💰💲💲💲💰💰💲💲💲💰💰 ! 2024
UGA fan here. Don't get me wrong. I dislike Alabama just like most UGA fans. But that call was utter BS. Shouldn't have happened to yall.
Obviously this was a terrible call. But the reason the referee waits to throw the flag is because there's no penalty until Ryan Williams touches the ball.
My guess is the referee confused himself about who was on the line and who wasn't.
You ever notice when banana loses its always a bad call from listening to finebaum this game was supposed to be dominated by bama
It's not unheard of to reprimand an officiating crew. This crew also officiated the Georgia vs Texas game. They should be benched for a week or maybe 2 weeks without pay.
It was an interesting max protect alignment. TE is covered up by Williams, but the TE never goes out on the route. I wonder if Williams didn’t check in with the refs. Otherwise, it’s a blown call.
Cause losing 9 to 24 is sure as heck better than 3-24 😂😂😂 eat crow Bammers
