Nicky is delusional. He has had a 28th rated defense for his whole career. He was not on the field when the Jags OFFENSE was scoring at will, that is coaching. He was NOT the person calling the panic plays in the second half of that game either. He is historically one of the best in turn over ratio. Herbert stands 6’6” and weighs 250. Moves like a running back makes EVERY throw and has as many fourth quarter go ahead drives as Mahomes, second only to Cousins (yes that’s right… Cousins).

Herbert has the most yards and most completions through the first 4 years of any quarterback in nfl history. He’s also had the most points scored against him of any quarterback in the last 4 years. So the wins haven’t been there, but o boy are they a coming! Go bolts!
Having a new offensive coordinator almost every year since he's been in the league MUST be taken into consideration. Mahomes has had Andy Reid his entire career. Lamar joined a GREAT culture with another great coach.

I think it depends on how you define elite, top 5 or top 10. If it's top 10, then yes he's elite. Top5, he's not elite. I have Goff, Mahomes, Lamr, Allen, Burrow, Stafford and Stroud ahead of him

Andy Reid made donovan mcnabb great. After mcnabb left philadelphia he was a nobody. Andy Reid made Alex Smith a pro bowler. Only time Smith made probowl. Smith left for redskins and was pedestrian rest of career. Andy Reid is special Coach in a league by himself offensively. I would like to see mahomes play somewhere else and see just how good he is. Any quarterback who plays for Reid plays a couple levels above their ability.
