ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Golfers will have to pay a little more when playing at city-owned courses. Starting December 1, green fees at Ladera, Los Altos, Puerto del Sol, and Arroyo del Oso will cost $1 more per round.
The City of Albuquerque says the higher price will offset rising operations costs for factors like sand, seed, fertilizer, and fuel. This is the first increase in the city’s green fees in more than five years. The last price increase happened in July 2019, when prices went up $1 per round.

The change is expected to generate around $220,000 per year in additional revenue for the General Fund. To find out more about the fee change, click here.
