ABOUT THIS VIDEO
I’ve used the same Mizuno irons for about 7 years. I recently went and got fit for a set of PXGs, and the result was the PXG 0311xp Gen 7 irons – the Players Distance model of their flagship clubs.
But are they as long and forgiving as the marketing would make them seem? Let’s find out.

As usual, a straightforward and objective review. Good job!
Good review. I suspect the distant change is down to loft. The PXG is effectively a 7 iron in your old clubs. But the forgiveness is clear with the PXG.
4 degrees stronger and I'd guess more upright lie angle also.
what did you think of the BLACK OPS irons ?
my story is similar to yours
I went ahead and went with the GEN six just to save a few bucks as I was hitting GEN seven and GEN six the same
LOVE my black ops driver 3w and 7w!!
Which Mizuno?
Nice video Sean. Hope you let us know how they are holding up after another few months.
