  1. If you have a controversy in stock car racing, then you’ve got a problem and something’s not right. Cars go round and round in a circle and the car in first at the end wins , duh 🙄. NASCAR is a joke, a BIG F-ing JOKE in the world of auto racing. It’s a $hit-show on steroids !!!

  2. NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY…..
LAGANO IS NOT THE 2024 CHAMPION !!!!

    STOP THE BULLSHIT !!!

    NO CHASE FORMAT
    NO PLAYOFF BULLSHIT
    NO STAGE POINTS

ONLY a driver with the MOST points AFTER racing the entire SEASON is the CHAMPION….
    PERIOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Here is the problem… current system you win early, you can coast and save your stuff for the end of the year. Old system you had to get every single point ALL year. Yeah sometimes a car got why out in front by end of the year but they EARNED it all year long.

  4. I am done. NASCAR is so fixed it makes wrestling look legit. I watched indy cars at one point and now I only watch the 500. I have watched and attended many NASCAR races. The company I own was also a partial sponsor for the 2 races here in Las Vegas. No more. It's Daytona 500 and take the rest of the year off for me. I can watch cars run in a line out on the interstate.

  5. As a businessman, here are some of my thoughts:
    1. Still think the regular season is a bit of joke – Build cheap crappy cars after you win your first race and save money. Reinvest late in the year to put out the best package you absolutely can for the finals.
    2. Gas saving bs in races – this has produced some odd races. How do you fix that?
    3. Manufacturer games is bs
    4. 300 hp cars are a joke.

Why is it that Formula 1 has all hand crafted cars with highly paid drivers, and NASCAR are building cookie cutter HOTWHEELS with drivers who are less than top talent that have to pay their way?

  6. Women like Logano cuz he's so cute. I'm not a woman so I don't have that going for me. I don't like Joey Logano because he's spun drivers out for no reason. Oh, he's sorry about that. And he did it again. Never been a Logano fan. It's one of the reasons I don't watch NASCAR. Yes, one of the reasons, I have a few. I got ya beat Kenny, 48 years of wedded bliss. Thanks for posting.

  7. Some people like the system, some don't. I don't, never did. Has nothing to do with Logano. He is a great driver and won by the rules. When he gets the lead, he is very hard to pass.

  8. The system is what it is, but some years (not this one) it feels like a wild card team in the NFL winning the Super Bowl.

  9. Joey won and everyone else lost and now they are all crying!
If they change the points system JOEY WILL STILL WIN!!!

  10. Where is my Kim like lady in the heart ❤️ ,,,l would love her ,like you /we love your Kim , too, thanks BigAl California

  11. I think the current system sucks, it is possible to win the championship without ever winning a race!
    Think about it.

  12. Kenny , your a lucky man Kim is such a doll. And smart man you knew how many years you have been married. If you didn't you would be sleeping in your race shop lol 😂😂

  13. It's funny this is the controversy. Not the chevys manipulating the last cutoff race by blocking for Byron. Or Bubba Wllace moving over for C Bell to try and get in. Everyone has convenient amnesia. He got in fair and square, racing hard and running every lap like it matters.

  14. Keep it the old way I say this you start at Daytona you finish at Daytona you 2 look great yeah go back to the old way of racing laps led where you place 1 2 3 places

  15. First of all Herman, Congratulations on the many years and may you be blessed with many more. As for the rest, don't change your opinion based on what any of us have to say. If you're for it, you're for it. Joey did indeed win according to the rules of the day. Now, I loathe the format for selecting the champion, stage racing is one of the goofiest things I've seen and any guaranteed to race program is a slap in the face to real racers. Now, those are my opinions as simply one person who was involved in racing in the 80's. The format is what it is at the moment, designed to manufacture drama. If I was racing now, or a team owner, despite the fact that I hate the system, you can bet your ass I'd find a way to play the system to my benefit, just like any other part of the rule book.

  16. Congratulations Joey, yeah nascar screwed nascar up. Lost so many cars, like you said it used to be a lot harder and better

  17. If the points were based, as they should be on consistant season performance [ wins + poles + top 5 + top 10 finishes ] Christoper Bell and Kyle Larson would have tied for champoinship points with 44 points each, and Joey Logano would have been in 8th place with 27 points just sayin'….. (Kyle Larson would have won the Championship based on wins 6 vs Christopher Bell's 3 wins)

  18. Joey might be a nice person, but he’s not a nice racer. If you’re going to keep those two things separate, you open up all of the critiques of Joey as a NASCAR driver. He has a history of knocking other drivers out of the way. None of this whole situation would be of any issue if NASCAR got rid of this joke NASCAR Playoff system and went back to either a points system for the whole season, or a 10 race/10 driver playoff system, with the Champion having the largest points total. One thing I have not seen mentioned anywhere is the REAL PROBLEM is the current Cup Series car. This year’s Truck Series’ and Xfinity Series’ finales were really good. Both of these series use TRADITIONAL stock car chassis, complete with Truck Arms, 5 Bolt Wheels, Higher Profile Tires, etc. Go figure that their stock car Championships were more exciting on an oval racetrack, because yes they were run using OVAL-suited chassis. The Next Gen car has been a major racing disappointment on Ovals, except for its increases in driver safety. These safety improvements could have been done without removing Truck Arms, changing wheel combinations, adding Lower Diffusers, etc. NASCAR has a recent history of “Throwing the baby out with the bath water,” instead of continuing to improve the positives and working to minimize the negatives with its major decisions. Loyal fans like myself who tune in every single weekend for all 3 NASCAR touring series races just shake our heads and say, “What was NASCAR thinking?!” I don’t get that feeling when watching NHRA, Indycar, IMSA, or most of the other forms of racing that I loyally watch. It makes you feel like planting your palm squarely on your forehead. I hope NASCAR can understand that some things aren’t broken and don’t need fixing, but in this case, the Next Gen car IS broken, and so is the foolish “sudden death” cutoff NASCAR Playoff System.
