  1. Every Saturday, in the 90's, I used to play at Lincoln with my dad's MacGregor blades and the custom woods (actual woods) he used to make. We used to try to hit the people crossing on the 16 fairway to see the view of the Bridge. 🤣

  2. Couldn’t afford green fees even back in the 70’s so my brogey and I would sneak on that course before sunrise and start on the 3rd hole. I think Lincoln Park is one of the oldest golf courses in California.

  3. Anyone who doesn’t know or just thinks one way.. he is in the presido in San Francisco. He is in a great part of town very safe and not many homeless. Don’t listen to everything you see on tv. Great video. Played this course many times. Fun to see someone good play it too haha

  4. Scary stuff. On the 1st hole, Lincoln spirits always grabs your tee shot to the right. btw…Randy is from the Olympic club. Their driving range is in better conditions than Lincoln. Glad you didnt bring him to Sharp Park.

  5. Great series. Next year, you have to find a way to get to Ballybunion (Old) to visit the graveyard just right of the 1st fairway.

  6. You do great videos Matt. It is a shame they don't maintain the buildings and monuments on that course. That monument that fell down and was just left like that doesn't give it a good look.

  7. Matt I’m 55 and new to golf. You’ve helped me improve quickly and made me laugh along the way. THANK YOU!

  8. You know I have played on numerous times (may 40) on Lincoln Park Golf course primarily in the San Francisco City Championship and I have never heard that there are 1000 bodies buried on the course. Mr. Short Game, thanks for the history lesson. Love to watch you. I even more happy that you got to play with Randy Haag, who is a golfing legend in Northern California. He’s 1-1/2 generations behind me but we know each other. Randy and I share one thing, we are both S.F. City Senior Champions but he’s won it at least three more times and still going; I’ve been finished years ago. Great Show. Keep them coming. Moweejim

  9. That was fun, I played Lincoln Park. It’s a cool course with lots of elevation. Beautiful views of the Golden Gate. Have to watch out for hitting an errant shot into a tourist or dog walker.

  10. Been following your channel since the Golfholics days. Glad you made it to my home course at Lincoln and hope you enjoyed the view on the 17th hole!

  11. Lincoln Park is my home course. $24 M-Th for resident senior citizens. Views the best and challenging even though it’s short. For that price I forgive the 8 different kinds of grass on the fairways.

  12. That structure on the first hole is the bone curing facility. If they had enough money and family back home, the bones were treated so they could be shipped back to China.

  13. I once came across a small cemetery near the front tees of the 17th hole of the Pearl East course in Calabash, NC. Unexpected and spooky!

  14. On our channel the only things buried in the ground are the countless golf balls sliced amongst the trees and lakes 😆

  15. 18 is where all good rounds go to die as well. Great video. I found a bone during a match out there. Def a human femur.

  16. There is a grave of the original land owner on the 18th hole of the Lake Course at Grand National in Opelika, AL. There is a slave graveyard on the 11th hole of the Bull Creek West course in Columbus, GA.

  17. lol great fun video concept. I do like Lincoln. Nothing like public golf in sf. Almost reminds me of goat park in so cal which I know Mr short game has played a lot.
