Zero-torque putters like the L.A.B DF3 and PXG Allan are creating buzz and cult followings among pros and recreational golfers alike. But what makes Zero-Torque putters special, and just how similar do these two putters work?

Today, Mikey is in the studio to test if PXG Allan is truly torque free like the L.A.B. DF3. Could you simply choose between the DF3 and the Allan or is there more to match up with stroke than is advertised?

  1. Df3 20% off during Black Friday from lab… I’ll be the first one to make the purchase this year when the discount goes live. ❤

  2. If the Allen rotates more will it be easier to get distance right on longer putts? I have the DF1 and stopped using it due to lack of consistency of long putts. It was better on shorter putts.

  3. I had a terrible experience when I tried to get fitted for a putter at my local club champion. They weren’t detailed and analyzed the data like you guys did. I used the SAM machine on my putter and the fitter didn’t use the SAM machine on the one I got “fitted” to. Anyways, still on the lookout for a new putter that’ll help me on the greens. I have my eye on the DF3

  4. Guys what do you say when a customer brings up, I’m sure is a very common complaint, the horrible aesthetics. At what point does the benefit of performance cease to outweigh the off-putting effect of the look of the putter?

  5. My son asked why there's not an app with the 3d green mapping for your phone and a connected putter with a series of red beeping lights that turn green when you line up correct and flash when your practice stroke is the correct speed .
I said , son , that would be cheating.
He said , no , it's just the way it's going to be in the future.
