1st ⛳️🎅🏽 Thank you for all content over the year .Happy New Year 🎉🍻
Very informative video Mitch, well done
Thanks Mitch. I've decided to build a Johnny Cash PC. So one part at a time but it is going to be easier on my budget. Will probably overkill but it should be good or future-proof for several years I would imagine. Bought the 4TB SSD card on a black Friday sale and picked up a case and power supply over Christmas. I think it will be RAM next and I imagine that my current laptop will be used in the golf cave until March or April of next year.
Merry Christmas and I hope you have a Happy New Year and fantastic 2024!!!
Opinion of 4070ti for 4K?

My skytrak is on the way and totally spaced on a good PC. Will 8gb RAM and Intel Graphics 630 not even be usable?
A cheaper way to future proof is to buy a desktop with a reasonably priced graphics card with the ability to upgrade in the future. I’m running a 3050 right now and it’s does great at lower resolutions (1280×1024) at the highest graphics levels. If you don’t have a projector that is 4K, there is no reason to overpay for a graphics card.
Great advice Mitch 👌🏻👌🏻
Very helpful. Thanks
A modern i5 and a 3050 runs any modern courses fine according to reddit. The 16 GB of at least DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, and a motherboard with a quality USB controller or Wifi Controller (depending on wireless or wired connections), are the much more important aspects of the build. I don't trust pre-builds because they often use cheap motherboards with low-end usb, ethernet, and wifi controllers that go out within the first year or two of owning the device. While pre-builds often appear cheaper, this is because you are getting the cheapest parts on the market, and you are paying for the building process and shipping.
AMD Graphics cards? – much better gaming performance per $ and wouldn't seem to matter as NVidia's big gaming advantage is ray tracing which is not used in any golf sim engine that I am aware of.
Love the videos, curious if you know much about gaming laptops for simulators though? I looking at an Acer Nitro 5 as an entry level setup. It has a 3060 graphics card, so seems like it should be OK? Thanks for any thoughts you've got!

Hi. Just wondered if you think these specs would run a golf sim, im in the process of building one. I have a rapsodo mlm2pro but will be purchasing gs pro too…. si need to know if these specs will run it ok in full hd? Im also thinking of purchasing the optoma gt2000hdr projector. Would this projector work too? Thanks.
