  1. I know this is right, but I have a lot of problems with it due to my arms and hands getting way too inside on the backswing.

I make seemingly ideal practice swings (on plane with proper early wrist hinge, and no arm overrun) on video repeatedly. Then my brain just goes to mush during my real swing. Shoulders turn too level, wrist hinge is super late, and arms roll the club much further inside than my really nice looking practice swings.

I can make it work fairly often, but I know it’s wrong and the reason for inconsistency. For many years I’ve become more and more comfortable with my incorrect, but serviceable downswing and impact position, which makes it so difficult to get to these pro level positions in the fraction of a second available. But I’m not giving up on it yet. Trusting it enough to leave the lag in to impact is such a foreign sensation. I may need to fly out to you for help…lol😂

Thanks for all the great tips you provide.

  2. Right side oblique crunch just seems like tilting back for a driver swing to hit up on the ball, how does that help with an iron swing?
