Always good instructions
This is the best lesson I have seen on putting 👍
Great tips. I've never put as many in as I did after watching this
Lots of info presented in a rather brilliant way
Interesting. Suggested a reverse grip yet not using herself.😊
Left hand low makes a lot of sense. I hit about 20 putts on the carpet that way and it does feel quite natural. Thank you for the tips.
Tried it today and loved the result.
Why was there a tee in front of the ball Sophie?
Lots of excellent snippets… Thank you!.
This is the best putting video I've seen. Perfectly paced and very informative. Thank you!
I took in so much great info about the basics in very little time.
Excellent video! Never thought of the grip like that!! Thank you!
Good lesson, Thank-you
Where has she been ? On the tour ?
Putting is for assholes. Everyone knows the long ball is what gets those panties moist! 😂
That's the best putting video I've seen so far, and I've watched loads , simple but really informative and a very easy to listen to instructor. Well done that lady.
When I setup left hand low my shoulders are aiming right of the hole 😞😞
Such a good video
What you present are your opinions. Some people do not agree with them. As far as the mental part you are correct. But putting is VERY HARD and to do it correctly takes a lot of work and dedication. It also takes knowledge of what a REQUIRED tilted plane stroke is. That would be an arc. And mostly all good putters RELEASE the putter today which is NOT what you are trying to tell people. There is a reason for that ever since Ben Crenshaw opened up about it. A very light grip is thus important. When you release the putter you take yourself out of the putt. All good putters today know that you have to give up control of the putter in order to get control of the putter. And you have to understand that there is a difference between the putter blade being square to the target and PERPENDICULAR to the tilted plane it is travelling on. That is why the blade is opening and closing to one and not the other. Very, very deceiving. THIS IS FAR FROM AN ONLY LESSON.
That was a very good explanation on putting, I will put your explanations into practice and let you know how I go. Thank you from Tim Melbourne Australia.
Great job and simple to understand!
If you’re right eye dominant. Left hand low may make it harder for you to see correct line. I was left hand low for years. I went back to right hand low. My PPR went from 2.1 to 1.9 instantly. I tested both ways with laser. I aim better right hand low.
It’s not a big difference but my lipouts are dropping now.
Great lesson ! I went to the practice green to try it and it worked great !
Having been afflicted with a horrible attack of the yips, the one tip that has solved it for me is the tee in the end of the grip staying upright. Thanks Sophie!!
Sorry luv, but all great putters, including Nicklaus, Crenshaw, Faxon, Woods, McCarthy, et al, release the putter head through impact, meaning the tee does NOT remain vertical. Keeping the tee vertical only promotes pushes and/or offline hits.
I like the tee on top of grip idea – a great visual
Let's me try this, thanks Sophie
