Day Two at Turnberry. Rory takes you around the King Robert The Bruce Course, which is a superb addition to the world famous Ailsa Course, which of course has an amazing Open Championship history, including the Duel in The Sun between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, considered arguably the best ever major championship.

Formely known as The Kintyre, the King Robert The Bruce course offers a stiff test of its own, and a totally different one than that of the Ailsa.

Do you think Turnberry is the best golf resort in the world?

  1. Can’t believe that the 8th has been destroyed!!! That was one of the most stunning holes on any course. That’s another thing to have a go at Trump about 🤣. Great resort and a must play in my opinion

  2. Buggies is a great shout. Knowing my usual crew free drinks would also be high on the list but me personally I’m all about the room upgrade. Cheers Brah.

  3. Loved the old 8th hole👌 a few people got badly hit on the 8th due to 9th tee hitting over them which kinda put the nails in the coffin for it 😢 It’s a shame to see it go but you described the new holes perfectly they are pretty fitting the 10th par 3 was a bit meh to start with but it’s defo grown on me. Good vid as always bruh and I think booking through you should be an extra drinks package or some your travel logo golf balls would be more fitting lol

  4. Great video Rory, the footage from the drone is just stunning. It is a shame about the runway in the background but I suppose you hqve to have somewhere for Donald to land his private jet, lol. Keep up the good work, cheers

  5. Great vision Ray. Your camera work has really improved in the time I've been watching. Free …… how about a #thinbullet lesson from the man himself. Barnbougle Tasmania, but I'm bias.

  6. you have to play where the Open Championship was born, Auld Prestwick, playing the hole named 'Himalaya' will give you a stern test….. awe ra best fae Australia

  7. Hi Rory/Ray just a quick silly question really do you find it a bit daunting playing against those 3 Devon bandits with your handicap not as low as them and by the way lov the blog course looks brill

  8. Used to be called lodges. Trips were often put together and advertised as Lads in Lodges. Went 10 years ago, it was terrific.

  9. Rory, I really enjoy watching the content, saving my pennies up. be in touch 🙂
