Fairy-tales do come true for Lydia Ko.
“It’s pretty surreal,” said Ko, speaking at the trophy presentation.
“Winning the gold medal in Paris was almost too good to be true and heading into the weekend I was in contention and I thought how is it possible for me to win the AIG Women’s Open.
“I’ve had the most Cinderella story these past couple of weeks and it’s almost too good to be true.”

Anyone know what happened to Lydia’s good friend Danelle Kang? Last I seen her she was shooting in the 80’s and missing cuts. She just dropped off the map.
Over the past 2 years I’ve taken my little girl to see 5 LPGA tournaments. At each event we’ve seen Lydia play and my daughter has gotten her autograph. No matter how she plays she is so generous with her time and in her interactions with the fans. She’s a class act and a wonderful role model for my daughter. Thrilled to see her hold this trophy.

Well, I guess her caddy is safe for one more tournament. Every time she plays bad, she always blames her caddy and swing coach. She changes caddies as often as she changes her underwear. She has had a mind blowing 13 caddies during her career. And that's in addition to 8 different swing coaches. She won the tournament but she is still a loser as a person.
