Joe and Isaac are back with another episode of Family Business and we were pleased to have Heisman Trophy winning QB Jason White in the Campus Corner Studios to talk about his time at OU and what’s going on now. White had a great story about the history of QBs in Norman and how a certain work ethic from Josh Heupel still carries on to this day. He talks about Seth Littrell as an OC and what it will be like for Jackson Arnold to start a season in a totally new offense. We also talk Adrian Peterson and plenty of Bob Stoops and Brent Venables. Another can’t miss episode.

  1. I got to about minutes into the interview and thought Man, come on this is the first time we have heard from Him in how long? We know all the current team stuff we have heard it 1000 times. Get into him and his time I wanna know about him I was young and don't remember much from when he was at OU. About a minute later yall moved on and gave me exactly what I wanted great job great episode. Boomer!

P.s. Wish it could have been a little longer and dove into his Heisman season and some of the stories from more players and things that happened while he was in Norman but he could always have a part 2.

  2. I went to Homefield and got my 1983 Pride shirt to commemorate when the Pride played Boomer Sooner at Stoolwater for the entire second half and Coach Threlkeld got a game ball from the King. I’m a proud Pride alum!

  3. Played against Jason when he was at Tuttle. As a proud Newcastle Racer he made me look silly. He also played safety, if the knees had held up that dude would have been a player in the League.

  4. Living in west laffayet At that time, I was friends with Drew Brees, ( dating Brittany's best friend) after the combine he said and I quote, heypul will not play nfl, but damn he will be one hell of a head coach!

  5. I hope OU media finds a role for Jason. I know he’s got a full time job but he’s a good story teller

  6. Great stuff. Gotta get him back on and have him tell more stories about his career. I was hoping to hear more about the big games and the bowl games.

All in all this was one of the best interviews. Look forward to more.

  7. Great interview guys. Jason needs to come on again. I enjoyed his stories. Don't see him or Sam around Soonerville much. I love listening to the guys that help build this program. Jason talking about the footwork with Josh is what I'm talking about here. The stuff that's passed on to each team that sort of sustains the program. I'm sure there are things that have been around for years that all teams still do or have evolved into something better.
