Golf Rules – Why Happy Gilmore should have been Disqualified from the Tour Championship

If a player makes a stroke with a non-conforming club, they incur a disqualification penalty. Therefore in the Tour Championship when Happy Gilmore competed with the modified ‘ice hockey stick’ gifted to him by Chubbs, the Committee should have disqualified him the first time he made a stroke with the club.
