  1. Yeah, you know what they say. The true test of a sailor is when there’s a storm anybody can sail on beautiful light wind days watching him makes me feel uncomfortable. It looks like he is suffers from some sort of neurotic malady.

  2. I just started thinking he was ok, and then he drops such a smug (and incorrect) comment 😂

  3. This is when we all watch the Bryson that we’ve learned to love through YouTube start to self-destruct and get stuck in his head. Bro is talking about equipment lol and making up words at the same time. Don’t be weird Bryson, just play Golf!

  4. Incalculable is the correct word from the reporter. I love Bryson but his “correction”was embarrassing.

  5. It’s tough for American golfers who have fine tuned their game for target golf, to rock up to Royal Troon and play well in tough links conditions. They’re two different games.

  6. St Andrews, you can hit it anywhere, here you can't gorse, rough, bunkers, and out of bounds everywhere, then chuck in a bit of wind, it's a different way to play

  7. As you can see, this guy has not changed at all. He just learned to understand more what would appeal to viewers, but his true nature of making excuses starts coming out when he just can't help it. Don't be so naive.

  8. Gross. I’m not for or against Bryson, but this “I’m the smartest guy in the room” routine is getting a bit exhausting. Most people I’ve met that were incredibly smart didn’t flex… they let others flex for them. And to claim your bad play was “equipment related” is so silly. Just say it wasn’t your day, that’s golf, and keep it moving…

  9. Who would have ever thought that there could be cold, windy conditions during an Open Championship? (sarcasm). No player’s ball & clubs perform the same in cold, windy conditions vs. warm, mild conditions. Every player in The Open has had to adapt to the weather conditions, which is an elemental part of the game. The reasoning that his equipment isn’t optimized for these weather conditions is an inherent admission that his performance is only as good as the level of his equipment optimization for which the weather conditions allow, which is a reasoning in which Bryson is unwittingly dogging his own playing abilities. The reality is no matter how advanced technologically equipment is, it can’t be optimized for all weather conditions.
