Make More Long Putts | GolfPass
[Music] hi Golf Pass Amy Chu here at Lake Nona golf and country club today I’m going to show you how to make more 20 Footers I love making these putts because I consider them as birdie chances to make more of these 20 Footers you actually have to invest a little bit of practice time and in order to do that you need a fun drill so I’m going to show you an Ami drill making gol simple fun and effective an Amy F drill here this is actually an upgraded version of what Tiger Woods loves doing tiger usually puts two te’s on either side of the putter head he’s working on making consistent contact by using these two te’s so the putter heads returns to the ball consistently I’ve just added two more T’s on either side and this is really going to help you gauge the stroke size so we have something close to one: one ratio and when you’re putting you’re going to keep your eyes on how big you stroke to make this 20 foter and you know sometimes you have these off days where you just have zero feel and zero control if you have some kind of guideline and know how big you stroke for 20 Footers it’s going to save your day so when you are doing more of these drills and you’re getting your one:1 ratio going and you’re making consistent contact boom you’re going to start to realize that the tempo is going to become very consistent because you’re putting on more of a one: one ratio and you’re going to be doing more of a pendulum work because of the ratio and the even Tempo so it’s eventually going to help you to control your distance better and the nice contact in the middle Center of your face is going to help you with directional control as well and the more you do this drill the easier this 20-footer is going to get and we’ll be seeing more birdies out there
