I know Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia talks about bringing the hands down before swinging through but what’s most likely going to happen for you is the steepening of the club as you do this you want to create separation in your body where the lower body starts working towards Target while you complete your back swing this is called reentering and this movement will automatically get your hands down in the correct spot which then you can fire through the shot [Music]

  1. proper hip movement is the most challenging part of the swing for most amateurs IMHO. this is a great explanation to get our minds wrapped around the concept of moving our hips properly and in the right orderโ€ฆ Thanks @Golfslump keep 'em coming

  2. The shallowing of the club in the downswing is the most difficult and "personal" thing to do.

  3. Being relaxed and starting the downswing once fully rotated is a good way to do this but you canโ€™t rush it either, best to just make the backswing faster if you want more speed.
