Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen the big fella showing some touch off the green yeah these greens are difficult but it makes that one look [Applause] easy well Steve one of the 14 newcomers this is Trevor Lawrence at the par three yeah Trev this is a difficult hole to get near you saw the Tim Brown hole in one but look oh are you kidding me there had never been a hole in one until today we almost had two in one day there’s Aaron Rogers off the green at 13 yeah this is what we’re talking about slope down the hill that went in in a hurry it was straight downhill jump higher than Vince Carter amazing Cara what’s going on down there now Baker Mayfield is having a little bit of trouble here smiling I didn’t think we’d see a golf balling up in the uh penalty area if you will of Lake Tahoe but I think we just saw that with my man Baker what happened John Elway is back here at the American Century Championship putting for birdie at 13 we’re seeing a lot of putts made early in this Championship but it gets a little bit different comes Sunday afternoon it does there’s his son jack giving him a fist pump at the 14 Trevor Lawrence let’s see what kind of touch see what kind of hands the big F has probably pretty [Music] good oh yeah [Applause] hello big season up coming for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars he signed a big contract in the off season there’s Josh Allen and Roger’s on the right side of that Fairway in the rough right yeah but he’s got a great angle where the holes cut only 112 but he got underneath it this guy to go to 16 oh man is Tony Romo having himself a tough day three-time winner here but this is fourth so a little bit of sunshine he’s coming off two consecutive double bogeys and four in total you know we talk about that Top Gun movie but if anybody’s also seen that series he started in the offer which is about the making of The Godfather it was remarkable Aaron Rogers now on 17 little out to the right got a little quick you can see his upper and lower body just got a little out in front of that one Peter look like he said he’s going to hit a high draw to this swag can’t be any more than a ner kind of knifed it little thin and to the right he look he’s played great honest he’s made some big putts he’s had a few birdies um and just really consistent you see that he’s going to put it right there on the green give himself a chance at birdie have you got a chance to pick his brain at all today not really you know we’ve been trying to just keep up the pace of the round but um keep going goofing off me him and Josh a little bit but not as much about football but maybe we will here towards the end I’d love to obviously he’s got a ton of experience and he’s a legend so um it’s pretty cool to be playing in the same group as him got had some mutual friends when I came into the league and then now you know chrisan Kirk’s one of them it’s good friends with both of us so that’s how I kind of got in touch with them and then now uh uhoh hit off it hit off it all right we’re we’re going to let you go we know you got to play in the actual golf tournament but we still appreciate you taking the time all right prediction on Trevor warranty I think he’s going to stick it about 5et oh he striped it little out to the right left maybe get down okay not bad all right not bad well you can’t chip in in the sand if you’re not in the sand okay how about a go route for you yeah let’s do it come on oh I don’t know if Smiley’s warmed up enough for this guys I lost my co-host here we [Applause] go oh the spin look SMY come on that is a flex I love it well he’s the leading receiver on the PGA tour now Smiley can now say he caught a pass from the future Hall of Fame quarterback what did Josh Allen say to Smiley you can’t make a bunker save unless you hit it in the bunker first what did he say something like that yeah it’s exactly you can’t can’t chip in for the bunker unless you’re in the bunker that was a little bit earlier that’s what he said yeah that was a little bit earlier nice play there not too bad yeah
