I review a budget friendly wedge. Is this a wedge worth putting in your bag? I test it indoors and out. How will this wedge perform on the golf course? I hope you enjoy!

face feels a little heavy I almost went in hey guys miss you don’t look like a short hitter to me now golf equipment can get pretty pricey now what would you say if I told you I got my hands on a three- wedge set that’ll Cost You Less Than $180 what I would say is is are they any good so that’s what we’re going to find out today I am going to review the lazerus wedge kind of spin is about normal on this shot at least one thing I will notice is that this head definitely feels like it has a little more weight to it okay guys I got about a 50 yard shot here which for me for this 54 is probably a little less than half a shot I wouldn’t expect this to to stop so we’re going to proba a little short just want to get the feel for this it almost went in each shot they were flying a little bit low and I don’t know if it’s anything to do with how heavy this H is here I mean I like the like the flight can’t argue with those two shots got that one up a little higher deer crossing so far for a very inexpensive wedge seems pretty good to me so this one was a little long and I don’t know if there’s any wedge where I could hit three shots this close so guys I know a lot of you are like me and if you can save a buck you’ll save a buck so I’ve got 80 yards here just out of the first cut and the one thing I noticed is this head is definitely a little heavier than the wedges I’m used to whether that’s designed to get through the rough a little a little bit better you know maybe these clubs are designed for higher handicaps I could see something like this possibly helping you out of the sand trap and maybe we’ll hit a few bunker shots I’ve got 80 yards 54 degree wedge this should be a pretty close to the right distance okay I hit that one head heavy 20 30 feet short of the hole there but that’s definitely more me than the wedge little bit better strike it’s pass pin High release just a tad maybe more than I would expect even out of the first cut hit one out of the out of the Fairway that felt really good now that ball had a ton of spin on it hit the green hopped and just spun it kind of spun a little bit right okay guys so this is the first ball well actually that’s the second ball that I hit decent I was out of the first cut and it released a little bit further than I would expect here it released maybe 16 feet the first one hit a little heavy the third ball hit just by the pin here and actually kind of took a bounce and then spun a little right so pretty good spin on this third shot so this sand here guys is wet firm we’ll see if this heavy weight helps us at all going to really kind of this one straight up that one felt pretty good opening the blade just a little since it’s a 54 another good one that one I kind of eased into but still pretty good results take those three shots all right guys so I went in doors I hit shots from 25 yards and 50 yards with the Lazarus and a Cleveland cbx from 25 yards both had the same launch angle spin was about 300 RPM more with the Cleveland height was one yard higher and The Descent was the same so it kind of made sense even when I was hitting those little pit shots around the green I was just hitting normal shots and they were flying pretty low from 50 yards again the launch was about a degree and a half higher with the Cleveland cbx the spin about 450 RPM more the height one yard higher and The Descent two yards steeper so from 25 yards the Lazarus is going to basically roll out a little bit more than the Cleveland and from 50 yards it’s going to be even bigger of a discrepancy but we’re only talking about a yard or two but it’s really not a huge difference when when you look at the prices of these two wedges so Lazarus makes this wedge in a few different options the wedge they sent to me is this kind of chrome finish I really think this finish doesn’t give the club Justice it kind of makes it look a little bit cheaper than let’s say even a like a Tacomo Sky forg wedge or definitely like a Cleveland cbx wedge they also have it in a rainow finish and a black finish if I were to pick this wedge up I would definitely get this in a black finish unless you like the rainbow finish I would stay away from this chrome finish to me it just kind of gives it a cheaper look even though it’s double Meed it’s a little bit of a harder steel probably that they forged this from the shaft felt a little firm also you only have one shaft option there’s only one bounce option with each 52 5660 they come standard with that one bounce the face is a little deeper than usual I think this gives you some relief if you hit it lower on the face this actually probably could help if you’re a person that kind of Scoops shots once in a while I think the deeper face will help and I had no problem open it or closing it because the bottom it’s kind of shaved down there it does take a little work to hit it higher again I’m not sure if it’s how heavy that face feels but the club doesn’t want to go high so you have to open it up a little bit more than normal probably now with all that being said we’re talking about a wedge that as of right now I believe is under $60 and you compare that to a Cleveland that’s $ 1502 $225 you really can’t beat the price of this wedge and I think if I were a mid or a high handicapper I would definitely look at this and look at it in the black finish for sure a player with a handicap in the teens I’m going to give this Lazarus wedge a definite feel of approval all right guys I hope you enjoyed the video on the Lazareth wedge I have another video coming out tomorrow on Sunday Mike Painter sent me some H moff ball so we’ll review those on Sunday and I’ll also put my PO Box in the description of my videos if you guys have a product golf ball you want me to review you can feel free to send it there and just leave in the comments if you plan on doing that just to make sure that I’ll actually be able to review the products you send before you send them if you haven’t checked out the match that Tom and I played against a couple former division one golfers click the video to my right and if you like the video like comment subscribe until next time Mr sh hitter out need to part my way in got to hit more greens

They have hybrids as well, I recently golfed with an older gentleman who swears by them
Had a set in black a few years ago…they spun the ball great….found out they weren’t conforming and sold them. They have since come out with conforming versions (XMilled, I think) for only an additional $20 or so per set. Nothing wrong with the quality. Forged and milled face. Tinkering with Eleven Hybrid Irons and using a few OneLength Wedges, or I would have gone for the new conforming version. Thanks for the review!
Oh Snap .. A DEER. Ran out in front of you ..WOW ..!
Mistah Short hitter. You hit them good .
Those first 3 were nice n close for 1 putts
Lazarus wedge? Hmm….for people tryna ressurect their game ..LOL….
Not sure about their wedges but their hybrids are really good
Tour Edge has some solid wedges at that price point too.
Lazarus doesn't have a 54… hitting 52 or 56 ??
The Pursuit forged wedges from gigagolf are legit. $49.99 each and customizable.
MSH, have you ever messed around with a full faced wedge?
Nothing better than LAZRUS out there. Got me the whole hybrid set plus them 50,54,58 cavity back wedges. Everything black model. I've gotta say the paint on them hybrids is really cheap and peels off with easy, but ask me if I care, none! as the freaking clubs are a delight for hitting straight and my distances are very good. The cavity back wedges turn the flag sticks a magnet, I reckon. My last sets of wedges were Nike and TaylorMade. They weren't bad at all, but when I got my hands on the V grooves full milled face very forgiving CBs and at 3 clubs for the price of a single Nike, I benched the brands for good. You cannot go bad with LAZRUS, no sir!
It’s alway nice to see some economical options when I comes to golf equipment. I’m getting back into golf after a significant time away from the game. I definitely experienced sticker shock when looking at the price of new clubs. Thanks for testing value clubs.
Picked up a preowned Lazrus 60 degree wedge a year ago. It is heavy. Works well in the sand. Use it in my winter golf bag. Thanks for the fair review. Better/cleaner graphics I also noticed. Nice job.
Wedges are scoring clubs. Find what works for you regardless of price…⛳🏌
I love my Lazarus wedges. Great video!
Would rather get the Costco and I’m ok returning if I don’t like them for about the same price or less.
You sure hit them good. I'm still looking forward to seeing what's in your bag this year
I got a 58, 54 and 50 Cleveland cbx2 set of wedges second hand for $170 just a few months ago. Love them
I have had my Lazrus wedges for 1.5 years. I love them.
These are decent wedges for the price. The limited degree, bounce and grind options may not be for all players. My wedges are 50,54,58 and have them for multiple shots per club. To each their own. IF you wanted to do reviews on clone clubs look at Diamond Tour (in DeKalb, Ill.) or Giga (California) for very affordable single club options. Their wedges are pretty good.
I have the Lazrus 58* in my bag right now. Got it super cheap during a sale. Have been using it for a couple years with no complaints. 👍
Nice review of non "big name" clubs. Theres a market fot sure. Me, I got my Cleveland 52' from the local thrift…$2.00 cuz thats the kind of tight A** I am😊 (thanks Stacked G)
