I know there are some people who are like oh he paid a first- round pick he didn’t score in his first five games and I mean I tend to look and go hey you brought him in to round you out defensively he wasn’t getting scored on in those five and I think that’s just as big of a win as if he would have scored a couple of goals in that stretch so it was good to see him get off the schneide in some cases I suppose with that goal last night and there’s no doubt it’s taken him a little bit of time to get comfortable but I know everyone in yourself included has pointed it out like a tough personal situation for him with his wife giving birth and then nine days later you got go move to a different country and get settled in with a new group of guys so I’m willing to be patient with Adam Henri this is a guy who loves going to the front of the net I think he plays a playoff style of hockey or a style of hockey that translates well into the playoffs I even though he maybe hasn’t had a start like Tyler T’s got four goals in five games with uh the Winnipeg Jets to begin his career there I’m even though the production hasn’t been like that I’m still not upset with what the Oilers have gotten out of Henrik

  1. You can judge on how good a trade is on how he and the team does in the playoffs. This is the exact reason why teams make a trade for a "rental" player at the trade deadline. If Henrique only scores a handful of goals in the last 20ish games, but then lights it up during the playoffs and helps the team go for a deep run, i would say thats well worth the 1st round pick they gave up for him.
