yesterday the Orioles set a record and I didn’t even realize they were on this kind of tear uh the Orioles have won 22 straight Series against American League east teams and I think that’s remarkable considering the quality of teams in the American League East is Baltimore the best team in the American League is it the Yankees is it the Guardians this Baltimore team maybe they need a little pitching bradish going on the is Herz but if they’re buyers and they can find another arm who’s beating this Orioles team you know my initial thought when brought that up was like what a terrible stat it’s like it’s like you saying well I’ve got the best success of any man in the world with cart girls on a Friday at 3:00 you know which you probably do you probably talk Fant about that yeah you know you you probably have it charted right and if somebody says well I got a better strikeout percentage would be well if if the tree didn’t move the right way and the light anyway but but to answer to answer your question Kyle um I ran the simulations and in fact it’s going to be I got a four Futures place at the end of the show so maybe we can get to him but that’s one of my plays to win the division they’re at plus 185 and I’ve got him at minus 178 and I couldn’t find it you know it’s it’s such a good question because uh I couldn’t find odds for them to have the best record and I know that they exist somewhere uh but I before the show because I was practicing the rap the rap’s going to be good guys uh but uh before the show uh I’ve got them probability of the team having the best record uh in all of MLB guys 39.5% so I think you could I mean if they’re plus 185 to win the division there got to be plus more than that to have the best uh record in the league so yeah no no I think Baltimore is a real deal good Bullpen great hitting and uh the starting pitching even with bradish out like it’s pretty decent of course I’m a big fan of Cole Irvin for more reasons than one Kyle right right right right and I’ve been trying to learn my composers it’s real tough for me I just it really makes me want to gouge my ears and eyes out I’m not even kidding but these guys were brilliant I mean I I yeah you know isn’t that sort of problem you know I think we all do this right if it’s not up our alley we dismiss it and so often times you miss out on so many things you don’t really appreciate it till maybe you’re a little bit older or later in life and you’re like damn it I’ve been missing out on all these things for so long so I don’t know uh universe is what it is again and the Yankees atus 103 total of eight with some juice to the under at minus5 you know the best part about this bdub is I don’t have I always have this little bit of panic if I forget the order that I’ve gone first to throughout the show that’s not happening today no stress here today I hope not I mean that what would that mean if you started doing that you know that would mean I smell burnt toast and you should probably call for help you know what I mean if my the right side of my face will will stick and I’ll be like Dick Clark and uh nobody wants that but uh what do you think here in that you got a series play on this first before we get into the series do you have any thoughts on this game it’s two good lefties uh I don’t have the numbers in front of me but I think the Braves I still favor them a little bit against left-handed pitching I I do like them against lefties I know Michael Harris has struggled this year Matt Olson’s not the same but uh what are we doing here with Braves Yankees beat up can you hear me beat up oh is he Frozen Okay so he’s got a brave series when I break this game down I still like Atlanta today I think there’s a little bit of value on that I’ll probably have them as part of my d genen uh runline parlay today uh but uh it’s it’s tough again the Yankees do have a good offense the Braves have a good offense but I think I prefer s this year a little bit over Ron bdub are you back with this year what do you think on this Braves Yankees I’m kind of I think I’m back can you guys hear me okay no I think the Skype issues I think that’s what’s because Kenny’s a pro I I I doubt if he’d no call no show I I would expect that from I got a text from Kenny it says dude holy bleeping bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep so I imagine we’ll see him shortly yeah Okay cool so so okay I’ll be quick I I don’t know how long I’m going to be on there I got this game priced minus 148 and we talked about the series price yesterday I went down all the series games and I I I think that the Braves should be favored fact I think they should be favored like close to minus 200 so it was a no-brainer for me to play the series in fact I think that I think that you know we’re talking about ideas here we’re talking about ideas to move the show to nine we might as well take over Kyle because we’re here it’s just me and you right moving the show to nine but the other the other idea I said you know if I want to put all this work here on these series plays I think I think that us should offer like a free ju like no juice on on the on the plays that I spend so much time analyzing on Thursday you know breaking it down and I don’t I know you spend a lot of time figuring out who those pitchers are going to be so that I can have so man maybe they could give back to us a little bit how about a no juice Thursday series play that or pick the series the day before the series right so that’d be kind of fun the D gen in me wants to say yes I spend a lot of time on that but it honestly takes me like five minutes to find the pictures I’m trying to embellish I’m really trying to embellish because no it would be hard for them because they’d have to put up a line for the series on the Thursday when we do the show but no juice on some on just one game a week would be so fun to promote it’d be so so fun to talk about and I think it would get a lot of the next game on our docket here 975 976 cuta Crawford in the Red Sox at minus 108 Andrew Abbott and the Reds and the Cincinnati it says Cincinnati on our sheet here Cincinnati Reds minus 102 total of nine with some juice to the over at minus10 all right b dub another series play here look I was really tempted to take the Reds today I think they are a decent Underdog I like him against righties and I like Andrew Abbot I know he’s not this dominant putaway pitcher I know he’s not you know going to strike out 10 guys but he just has a way of getting through games and not allowing a lot of runs or just something about Abbott that I like backing here what are your thoughts Red Sox Reds be up no I think it’s an interesting play for you you you like the Reds and and I think that there’s really some substance behind there I don’t think it’s just because you’re their their number one Fanboy which you got fired because you bet against him one day uh so I I guess you’re not president of the fan club anymore but as far as this game goes I really like the Red Sox here I like cutter Crawford I got him 12% better than average but I think what’s swaying the model more is that Abbot I don’t really like him at all he’s he’s a 137 base winner number which is 141st out of 150 and you kind of look at these guys and and you look well cutter Crawford strikeout percentage not the greatest two 22.8 but it’s still above League average and then Abbott has an 18.2 which is in the lower quartile but for me what really stands out when I’m looking at these numbers is cutter Crawford’s Stuff Plus 80 percentile and then Andrew Abbott is 42nd percentile so I think there’s there’s a huge Edge there starting pitching uh for me and then um you look at these and these these components are going to kind of come into my handicap for the series uh you look at the at the components I think the hitting is about equal I got them right about mid pack but really what stands out to me is the bullpen and I want to get your take on the on the Red’s I they’re crappy I’ve got them worst in worst in baseball in the model Kyle sorry I I uh there’s so many uh messages being posted here in the chat I can’t hear a word because it just completely silences me out but you’re asking about the Red’s Bullpen if I and honestly there’s only two pieces in that Bullpen I like Fernando Cruz I think is very very good you know when Fernando Cruz comes in you have a good chance of getting some strikeouts um and he’s going to get through and and I do like Diaz as the closer he can he can be a little bit Rocky some times and walk a few guys but overall the Red’s Bullpen is bad and it concerns me guys like mole and uh God I know them all but yeah the Red’s Bullpen certainly concerns me they concern me when I do a double result if I know I’m going to get to Cruz and then the Diaz I’m fine but anybody else in that Red’s Bullpen I think is real real shaky and look at this handsome guy who Chang who changed the show on me wait wait what happened did we change it I thought we were at noon no I’m kidding sorry guys how how you feeling this morning see I had the theory I had the theory that when you start getting a little older those hangovers are harder to deal with Kenny is that what’s going on today that is not even close to what’s going on if it what look at this point I’m in the doghouse so I think here Red Sox Reds yeah I I had trouble backing the Red Sox against lefties this year although I don’t know if Abbott is the one that I’m necessarily afraid of I think for me this would just be more price driven uh I think just it’s it’s what it’s right now it’s pretty much a pretty much a pick them here I still lean I still read lean the socks here man I’m a big cutter Crawford guy I’ve been back at him all year uh and this the Red Sox team is just hot right now I know that they struggle more against lefties but they’re swinging hot bats the team is just clicking they’re stealing every single base imaginable I think if you put a gun on my head I would still lean the socks here but at a pick on either side I’m not not really into it our our guy Ed blust my dude says Kenny looks and a half with juice to the over at minus 115 Kenny I am going Mariners double result today at plus 105 Trevor Rogers is not it for me he’s not good the Mariners I know they strike out a lot we’ve got concerns about Julio Rodriguez did you see this he’s only got 13 extra base hits so far this year Julio Julio Rodriguez massive uh massive regression out of uh Julio Rodriguez but look the Mariners keep fighting ways to win I think Kirby exponentially I have advantages across the board here give me this Mariners double result at plus 105 what do you think on this one Kenny I’ll be honest man this feels like the Trap the stinkiest game on the board this feels like the the stinkiest game on the board I’m not trying to talk you out of it by any stretch here but I I looking at looking at the sheet this morning before [ __ ] hit the fan I actually was pretty damn close to throwing the Marlins on the card here and really for really for for no other reason that just I it just it it just feels like that game that’s going to screw everybody today and I do think you’re you’re getting Trevor Rogers on a half decent run right now he was abysmal to start the year I remember he had a start in I think end of April against the Phillies he got pulled early he threw his glove in The Dugout he was kicking The Jug it it was it was all downhill for him and then he has started to find it last couple of starts I mean some good some okay but again I I feel like really any pitcher can pop against this Mariners team just because of their their strikeout potential here Kirby I know is again you know he was in sh young conversations early in the year um big fan of his throws a 100 different pitches I think the Marlins are in play I’m not going to touch it but if I had to play something in this game it would be the Marin’s money line I think they surprised people today oh God and I was thinking this too like God is this a trap but the numbers are the numbers beat up am I am I missing something here the Mariners should win this game right or is the model also saying I’m crazy for taking this double result no I I like your play I’ve got it priced at minus 177 for Seattle uh I you know what’s interesting to me looking at this game is is the the bullpens I have about equal so really the disparity is in the starting pitching and I just don’t think Rogers is very good you look at his last uh 10 median strikeout percentage it’s get take me W cuz I’ve got I’ve I’ve used 150 plate appearances for so long but it’s kind of the same thing a little bit different but if you look at a strikeout percentage in that time frame 14.5% in the fifth percentile step plus is brutal 23rd percenti hard hits per nine Kyle third percenti so for those reasons I think there’s a huge Edge uh in starting pitching and I don’t know you know the the Seattle Team I’ve been kind of down on all season but man look at them they’ve got the biggest lead in the standings of any team in any division so yeah and that’s my Futures to win the aest I think I got him at 8 to1 to win that Division and I I got to be honest I like when you watch him play you’re like God this team’s underachieving but they’re not they’re still finding ways to win uh in a really tough American League Ed blust not this a good nomination Kenny went to rickwood field last night for the game got mugged in the parking lot just made it home that’s what happened I W I walked all the way home and that and I I just just walked in the door you know and I wanted to say shout out to that Rick Woodfield game I watched some of that that was really really cool I loved the Willie May tribute the tribute to the Negro Leagues and all that cool stuff that they did I thought that was a lot of fun The Rookwood field uh game did you catch you near that bdb I did you know I caught the Reggie Jackson interview that was Grizzly it was it’s really what a bunch of ingrates and then so I think we’ve changed as so Society uh since then but gosh I mean that that was really like it was heartbreaking to listen to that to that uh interview anyway uh I don’t want to get political but uh you know come on guys let’s let’s Let’s uh let’s lighten up a little bit but that I guess that was in the 60s so it has changed quite a bit I think Kyle yeah the world uh the world’s a crazy place especially like these election years people just get weird and I was telling you before the show how you know we sort of talked about the news and I went yesterday just for a little just for some research I went 15 minutes CNN 15 minutes Fox News and I’m like holy crap no wonder everyone hates each other we all live in these alternate universes where the other sides are monsters uh not healthy not good let’s hope some of that dies down what call I think that’s a good exercise for everybody spend 30 minutes watching a a conservative outlet and then spend 30 minutes watching and it’s different I mean it’s like the whole world’s a different thing so uh that’s why you come over to the BET BET us MLB show we have we got waps we got really good plays uh good handicapping here not only by the panel but by the chat box too so just spend all your time on our show that’s that’s why for the day and then make sure you watch 30 minutes Watching Hey Arnold because it’s a great show and you get you get a little it’s like that’s that’s the mouthwash after watching the news for an hour so just make sure you mix that in as well the real problem around here is I’ve been rewatching Game of Thrones and I always do like when I rewatch Ted lasso I start talking like Ted lasso for two weeks and I can’t stop so now I’m going around going oh I need some ale and portridge pie for my belly Lads and then let’s go Hawking about and my son and his friends look at me like God your dad’s a [ __ ] and I am I am let’s uh call it what it is but for purposes of the show go ahead Kenny just real quick Rick with fuel game I know you guys covered this game excellently yesterday and I think there was I think a discussion about whether or not we thought that we would see juice balls I think we had to have at least early in the game yesterday right that he that that that helot Ramos home run it looked like it pop up to the second basem and it just it just kept carrying and uh well I was just reading an interesting stat and we’ve talked about like this has been a weird year for pitching right you would think that the numbers would be up for hitting because there’s not really a lot of dominant pitchers starting pitchers have been getting hurt left and right the the quality of pitching is low but the batting average this year the the League’s combined batting average of 24 1 if that were to sustain that would be the lowest League batting average since 1968 since 1968 that’s how bad the hitting has been this year and it just doesn’t make any sense when you look at how bad the pitching is like it kind of blows my mind bdub like what the hell is going are these balls that dead yeah you know Corby says that they are and I haven’t to be completely transparent I I’ve kind of like I used to follow Meredith wills and she would cut the ball up and break the ball down and it just would piss me off so much because it’s such a it’s something that the MLB uh front office can control just get a machine throw the balls through this these are the characteristics of the balls so I I’ve just been away from it and I I think it helps my handicapping because if I think about that it just pisses me off and I guess what you could do is is be just be really careful with the totals uh and I just I don’t play a lot of totals as a as a percentage of my plays anyway so um because I I I think frame of mind’s almost some some times better than than than technique and handicapping and so I think you guys need to stay in a good frame of mind I do think that they’re coming back there from my buddy Eli April and May they had there was one day across April and May where there were three plus home runs per game across an entire slate there’s been four such days already in the month of June so again I know it’s been it’s been hot across baseball but the thought was hey they bring the juice balls back in the summer NBA’s over they’ve got all the attention going and the data would at least support that the ball has been flying since we flipped Jun yeah how stupid of baseball that’s just so stupid we have to speculate on the quality when when they can fix it it’s not like they’re a poor organization they can I’m I joke about hiring the head of Toyota and everything but there’s some really good technology out there I I don’t see why not Corby is the engineer maybe he can tell me why why you couldn’t but I don’t know why you couldn’t make like a like a big kiosk like looking machine put a bunch of balls in the hopper and it goes through and it gives you the characteristics and they just publish that before the game and and there’s going to be some you know it’s it’s it’s it’s co hiide right it’s it’s a it’s a natural substance so there’s going to be some variation in it but come on throw us a bone guys yeah and I just want to remind everyone we did have it backwards here the uh odds for the U for the Mariners Marlins game it is sitting right now let me pull it up and I I apologize we’re sitting the Mariners are at minus 171 we’ve got plus 151 to the Marlins total of 7 and a half flat flat across the board at minus 110 so we got that in there for the for clip purposes and for purposes of the show I’m going to I think I have advantages all the way across the board here I’m going to take that Mariners double result and I’m going to take it at plus 105 Aqua Aqua says this DJ hers kind of under the radar you don’t hear a lot about him but he’s been pretty good right he’s been pretty good uh look this is just a classic case of I’m looking at a box scorer and going this guy’s amazing let’s just bet on him but against the Rockies man I I I feel a little more comfortable taking this shot uh I’m I’m I’m riding the hot hand here I took DJ hers all seven plus CES I think his line his standard line is over five and a half with with a lot of juice so I bumped it up to for him to get seven like he’s coming off 13 strikeouts last game and know it was against the Marlins uh there two start before that against the Braves he was still solid he went you know four four and a third he had 5Ks they’re letting him throw you know a little over a little over 80 pitches I imagine they let him stretch that out today if he doesn’t get in too much trouble again I know incor is a different animal especially for a young rookie who hasn’t pitched there before but this Rocky offense is just just completely abysmal and I especially like lefties against them as well so I’m right on the hot hand let’s see if magic strikes twice here DJ hers seven plus KS it seems like a lot of KS be dog because it’s DJ hers but what does the model say about this guy okay so first of all baseball handicapping real fast because I know this show needs to be about 20% baseball hand capping and then 80% jokes but uh so so I I don’t have a play on this game I mean Kenny makes a good point this Washington uh Nationals offense you know I bet the Nationals yesterday I was watching the first part of game that oh God that was brutal I was like I mean and I think uh Gore was striking out a million guys in the first five and and I still lost so uh I I I don’t know like their offense is bad the Rockies offense is as bad or worse uh the pitching awful like for me pricing wise it’s- 111 it’s- 105 in the market I’ve got an 11.2 total it’s it’s 11 in the market um so it’s no play for me Kyle yeah and again it’s what herz’s third start of the year so the jury’s still out but he was awfully impressive in that last start and you know there’s some benefit right to facing a team these Marlin hitters have never seen him before right so they don’t have a ton of scouting to go off of so and and you know with these teams analytic departments they go okay this is what he likes to throw here this is what he likes to throw there and it helps you’re a bats and when you don’t have that some of that information it could be a little bit tougher for purposes of the show we briefly I put uh uh the the Angels out with the first five I I’d like Sandoval’s numbers he’s uh his strike out percentage is taking up 24.4% and uh his BBK is in the lower I guess part of of Major League Baseball 29 so those are good numbers for him uh I think that you know obviously the Dodgers have a a huge Advantage offensively but I don’t know I I’m going to have to see more from Knack before I’m sold on him uh the projections for me aren’t good with him so far um and so for for that reason I decided to put out the uh the Angels first five plus 146 I thought that was a decent price c yeah and and honestly Patrick sandal I have his numbers against this do and again it’s limited sample size Kenny with Landon Knack but I have him profiling better than I do Knack in The Limited sample size here um is this another dogger pass here in the battle for Los Angeles yeah I couldn’t really I couldn’t land on a side here but I did uh I guess the theme of of my picks today maybe this is why I was uh just avoiding coming on because I was afraid to try to explain them but I went with Knack k man so DJ hers and Landon knack strikeout Knack over uh nicknack patac over four and a half strikeouts in his uh in his four starts this year he’s at four five25 and his his his last two starts has actually looked pretty good I’m backing on him just getting a bit more of a leash today he his last two starts they only let him go 64 pitches they let him go 94 in the start before that he’s coming in with like all the rest in the world here it’s just going to be a spot start but I think they let him go out there and if he doesn’t get in too much trouble you could see you know anywhere from 75 to 85 pitches ideally five six Innings and if he if he goes five innings against his angels team I will bet pretty much anybody to get a strikeout per inning so Landon Knack over four and a half strikeouts love that so for purposes of the show we’re gonna back back Landon Knack terrible name the under in the Tigers White Socks game under three and a half first five is even money I want to Target first three under one and a half half at plus 150 so we’ve got Jack flarity on the mound that I was really close to taking the Tigers today because I know how highly uh bdb thinks of Jack flarity we got flarity on the mound for the Tigers and we have Eric fetty for the White Soxs and Eric fetty has been kind of remarkable as well he’s got a winning record with the white socks which is out you know he’s what is he five- one or six- one and I we don’t care that much about wins or losses but when you’re talking about a white socks offense it is substantial and you can see his ER is low so an under makes sense but bdub correct me if I’m wrong we’ll say these unders all the time and then one of these really good pitchers just gets blown up for no reason like Luis heel yesterday and so that’s that’s the iffy part because one and a half’s one swing of the bat nobody listens to me I told you that uh heel was going to get lit up yesterday I I thought that was a good play but um you know it’s tough because you got to swallow a three and a half uh number but I think that there’s a lot to be said with playing the first fives and I’m working guys I’m working really hard day and night when I’m not rapping and when I’m not running and doing long jumps I am building this five ining model and I think it’s going to have really really good promise and you’ll notice if you guys get the card I’m putting more F first fives out and that there that’s the reason but I I would agree I mean looking at this without going into the data science behind it you look at flarity and he’s you know Kyle I ask you this question every day who’s got the highest strikeout percentage on the board it’s got to be Jack flarity which just doesn’t make any sense it’s so hard it’s so hard to see that but also hard hit for nine for flarity 96 percenti BBK for Eric fetty uh is 0.08 and for me what I did with the play is I put it out full game with the parlay uh if I can play against uh the White Sox bullpen I will and I’m rooting every day against the white socks every every day I hope that team loses Kyle um yeah I hope they win every day and pass the Angels so I get 40 to one and just have you know know like a great day Kenny what do you think about this like it’s has underwritten all over it right but uh what do we do with it so I haven’t gotten the watch enough of Fetti Starks to at least apply the eye test to to sort of the stats that we’re seeing here flarity looks as real as it guess he hasn’t given up an earn run in his last three starts like he’s as as good as advertised I just like fetty he’s giving up a ton of hits they’re just they’re not converting to to runs as of late I feel like he just had a bit of good luck on his side so if if anything here I would have lean the Tigers it’s just that the the price isn’t all that enticing and I don’t know man like fetty’s been good enough where I think I could look like a clown if I just want to aggressively fade him here it is a weird spot um the chat was saying they were going to Target this for uh no run first inning a little nerfy but they’re saying that it’s locked I think if you’re going to play this game like something first five related like a first five under or a nerfy could be in play but I feel like we are we’re just so due for a Fetti implosion I just don’t know if what’s gon to happen against the Tigers right and we’re to that part of the year right where there’s so many trust issues and like everything that could have gone wrong has happened to us by this point there’s so many games so you’re like yeah these pitchers are pitching lights out that means he’s going to give up 10 runs today and we just don’t know when it’s going to happen but I would say if you’re just ignoring all that and you’re ignoring the trust issues and you’re running through the fire the under makes sense fetty’s been the best pitcher on the White Sox he’s been better than Garrett crochet and Jack flare to base runers point is very very high up on the list these two offenses are not very good so um I can understand the under there for sure this next question is a good question from our guy mandre falls he says what’s more important when capping a game the starting pitcher his splits and recent performances or the opposing team’s offensive numbers and bdub I’m really Cur how how does the model weigh do you weigh it more towards a starting pitching or towards the other team’s offense is it 50/50 what do we got there oh it’s a really good question so and then there’s so many bets you can talk about uh with this question but I’ll just I’ll just uh start I I think he’s asking for the most part for full game and what is what is the most important and it’s it’s kind of they’re all important so like the most important it’s it’s okay but he’s asking the question for me the most important thing is having really good Bullpen numbers I think that that that’s underlooked in in in the market and uh I I think that that’s the most important so and and having said that these bullpens are a bit to handicap I mean I’ve got three or four different charts and I try to and so I mean maybe that’s why I’m doing more five innings so I can do less Bullpen handicapping and and more long jumping so but that is I think I think that if you really wanted to get good now two things actually uh if you really wanted to get good and be different than the market the bullpen and then the Fielding too and and again that’s a hard thing to predict but if you could get really good at fielding prediction and Bullpen prediction you’re going to kick ass in the market in my opinion yeah and I will say to this question’s point um it’s situational for me like if you have a game where we have two really good pitchers like the game we just talked about you have two really good pitchers but one offense is better than the other offense you know let’s say we’ve got the uh the Braves and and Max freed and then you’ve got you know the Tigers and Jack flarity like well what do you want to take here both good pitchers the Braves offense has a better chance at of hitting flarity than the other offense does so I think it’s kind of situational right am am I crazy there yeah I I think for for me like the the one thing that wasn’t mentioned here is just the price right if they were hanging plus 185 or something like what’s the socks money line today socks money line has plus 152 like I just I think for this situation that that’s that’s not enough but like a good example on Wednesday show I had rais money line and it was Taj Bradley against Joe Ryan and again two two two good pitchers I was a little higher on Bradley um and I just for me it was it was closer to a coin flip than anything else and if you’re going to give me you know plus 150 On The Rise I I think they win this game more often than those odds so it just it’s worth it there so I think that you know if you’re going to if you’re going to go on the riskier side here I think the price has to be you know worth the squeeze again depending on how you’re looking at it but for me just the price is the end all be all here if there was enough juice here on the on the white socks I could probably see a path to get to it they’re just not so I think it just it makes it easier to to cross it off right and let’s uh get to this next question and then we’ll go over some of your futures bdub let’s get to because there’s been a lot of questions and I see people asking me about it uh thoughts on the Dbacks and Phillies today so you’ve got Jordan Montgomery on the mound for the Diamondbacks tywan Walker for for the Phillies and someone’s asking am I with you on the Phillies double result and I just don’t back Tywin Walker I don’t think he’s very good now the Diamondbacks offense has been really disappointing Corbin Carroll another one of these young players who’s really regressed he’s just not putting up the kind of numbers he did last year uh I kind of think let me see what’s the number on this one again because if I’m getting plus money on Montgomery again I might be I might be leaning yeah plus 123 to the Diamondbacks minus 133 right now at bet us what think Kenny I just can’t back Taiwan Walker I really don’t want to back back Taiwan Walker um and I’ll be honest man as a Phillies fan like part of me is like slightly rooting for the Taiwan Walker implosion so we so as a franchise we commit to going to get another arm at the deadline if he comes out here and throws a gem I think it makes it tougher for us to go shopping and maybe we we we trust him and the crazy contracts he’s on throughout the year and I just don’t want to see that you do have a little bit of a narrative here you know you have the NLCS rematch uh in in Philly so the Philly fans are going to be are going to be Rowdy today like Walker’s been bad but it’s not like Montgomery’s been much better I mean he’s got he’s holding a a six ER right now he’s coming off like a a one good start against the white socks then he struggled against the Angels he got rocked by the Giants he got rocked by the Mets I I I think if anything here it would it would have to be the Phillies but it I’m not that excited about it man Walker has just been other than the other than the one game he threw in the UK because maybe he just likes playing in London he’s a tough he’s a tough a tough guy to uh Trust yeah maybe this is another one base Winer right where we have two pitchers who’ve been equally shall we say mediocre if we’re being kind and you’ve got one team with a much better offense than the Phillies so you back the I mean I think the Phillies make sense here I just don’t know if I can get behind Tywin Walker I got so much in this game I could talk about but it would say it would take too too long because like some of these some of these numbers are controversial I will I will um agree with Kenny about the pitching it’s not very good Montgomery’s strike out percentage 14.5% fifth percentile Walker’s not much better 15.4 12 percentile both guys BBK numbers are alarming 63 and 0.53 uh I put out the the I wanted to say the Cardinals I think I think I’m thinking too much like uh too much Simeon rice in my brain but I I wanted to put out the uh I put out the dimeback the first five and I I don’t think that’s the best play and that’s why I’m talking about it and sometimes when you when you analyze a card and you put as a handicapp and you put out a play and you come back to it you’re like why didn’t I play the over on this and I think you got to play the over but so my question is when when Kenny was running back from the strip bar trying to trying to get home on time to get to the show um how what was the weather like out there Kenny uh the weather uh it’s funny I I was just running it so I don’t remember uh called up right yeah he’s gonna get called up within a week maybe two weeks the question is what the Rays decide to do um they may bring him in and run a six-man rotation or they just kick latell to the bullpen I think both are probably probably fine uh I I replied to this in the chat earlier because he’s like because he’s been hurt I assumed it was just going to be a free stash because you could just put him in the IL slot he’s saying that they’re not able to do that but you got to have somebody in your in you got to have somebody in your bench that’s Expendable here he should get called up at at the latest in two weeks um and if he’s half as good as advertised he’s going to be a G so I think it’s certainly worth it and there’s this kid getting called up for the Orioles Bloss I think his name is and he seems to be doing that might be another guy if you’re looking for a young guy he’s uh he’s he’s he’s on the Astros right I think he’s pitching the night or Astros Astros yeah he’s calling it to pitch against the Orioles yeah he’s pitching the night yeah yeah yeah he’s pitching a night and that might that could be another guy um if you take a look at that as well Aqua Aqua asks Yankees versus Orioles ALS I think he’s asking exact result Yankees versus Orioles and you can get that at 80 to one what do you think about that being up what what’s the what what is the exact bet again I think it’s an exact bet so he’s he’s betting the exact outcome Yankees versus the Orioles and the Yankees have to meet in the ALCS and that’s a 80 to one I think I understand that question correctly that’s yeah that seems Seems really high for that it’s a great price if you can get it the risky thing is is you never know the seating right so what happens if you Baltimore Rises the Yankees drop and you end up facing each other in the first round there’s no shot right so you got maybe there’s that because because those guys the losers is going to be the third seed right and so
