STI just released a new premium driver it’s called the compete driver priced at $379 it’s nearly half the price of new drivers from most bigname brands but is it half the performance during my distance test I was actually shocked at just how far it flew I didn’t expect to see 280 yard drives out of a budget direct to Consumer driver it fared well during the Forgiveness test handling tow strikes with ease for my workability test I was able to shape my shots trajectory control was good as well in terms of Aesthetics this driver reminds me a lot of the old tailor made M1 and M2 drivers it’s all black with carbon fiber showing through on the crown the face is deep this driver has three degrees of adjustability built into it as well as a few different lie options sound at impact is right in between thuddy and tinny and feel is fantastic on Center strikes and on M hits while feeling firmer it really gives you an idea of where on the club face it was struck all in all I’d say really solid performance for the price you’re paying and that’s always a win in my book

So here's the rub: This product isn't aimed at someone trying to save money; it's aimed at someone that can't afford the retail price of a name-brand driver…
If you can't afford the cost of a brand new driver, you shouldn't be buying a cheaper one just because it's cheaper today, as it will cost you more later.
I bought a like-new Stealth 2+ for $225…
If you can't afford the inflated retail prices… just buy last seasons model. Stop buying brand new equipment…
$400 for a "Stix", vs $225 for a TM S2+…
Just saying 🤔
So nearly $400 is "affordable" and "cheap" and "budget" now?
It is terrible same with the irons.
Stix brand!
$379.00 for a Stix driver with the two shaft options, flex and length, that's a hard pass.
Takomo is a better deal $359.00 with multiple shaft options and a weight kit.
It looks and looks to play identical to the Kirkland driver. Just get that one for 189-199
It's basically a Wilson Dynapower Carbon, which has been my favorite driver of all time.
Hope you are able to get and review the Macgregor driver. It sits at $150 and I've been super curious how it performs.
I can get a Mizuno ST Max $299 brand new. No thanks to this.
PXG 0211>Stixx
I haven’t bought a new golf club in many yrs. Ebay has been good to me when the itch happens.
Yeah but a ping g425 is around the same and I think its one of the best ever
I call bullshit
