good morning good afternoon good evening wherever you’re watching this if you’re in United States of America and you’re watching this the day came out happy 4th of July early morning here and we keep you updated on all the Warriors news some new information came out about low marinan and a new sleeper team coming in to trade him that made a substantial offer it’s impacting potentially the Warriors getting him and the trade may be dead so we’re going to break that down for you and and ESPN just came out with an article inside depth look at Clay’s final months with the Warriors what Clay’s team proposed as a final offer in free agency and how it fell apart so a lot to get over today let’s get into it Randy silver here Warriors digest if you’re with us on all the episodes thank you so much if you’re part of the 14% subscribe it means the world to me if you want someone who’s could grind for you day in day out bringing you the best Wars content on YouTube I am your guy subscribe let’s get into it the Kings the neighbors up north they call themselves The Bay they ain’t the bay we the bay and Mary my girlfriend if you’re watching she’s from Sacramento just got to say Warriors are better than the Kings you won one game in a playin but we beat you in game seven Steph put up 50 we got four rings this decade you have none the kings were reportedly close to pulling off a trade for Utah Jazz Low marinan according to Jake fer of Yahoo sports the Kings to my knowledge earli this week were close to a deal I do think that based off of conversations I’ve had I can’t say more than that but there were calls made to people around the NBA that would have indicated the talks have been legitimate there interesting we talked about this last night in the video who would the Jazz want most likely they’re not Kings aren’t trading Fox not training s sabonis it would be Keegan M I love when the crowd says his name as a Warriors fan it’s really cool to hear it inside uh Kings Arena and when they light The Beam not Li is pretty cool anyways Murray supposedly Untouchable maybe it was part of that trade there I listen no details were revealed but Monty P I saw a lot of people said you can’t trust them we’re here at War Digest report what we see out in the news to make sure you’re aware of all the sources coming out said Warriors are in the driver’s seat or we’re in the driver’s seat we’re not trading kaminga he’s Untouchable Wiggins a part not part of the trade this contract’s not a part of it so then it has to be draft picks jazs have crazy amount of draft picks from the mitell trade the goar trade Spurs were part of it they have about what I think I saw in the comments you guys are right like 12 15 draft picks the next I want to say five 10 years so they’re set up as well if Spurs me if the Jazz want more draft picks Spurs the team to go I mentioned we can we have four first round picks the rest of the 2020s so maybe that’s where you offload but you’re not offloading kiga so interesting news right there the king’s offer per TJ was substantial Warriors and the Spurs all have suspension offers on the table for marketing Danny a jazz who does he get a pick does he want to help out the Kings help out the Warriors help out the Spurs a mystery team or for the reports Lowry wants to stay with Utah can they figure out how they extend his contract he’s got one year left so it’s the clay thing is he going to walk away for free is he going to get traded now for assets if he doesn’t want to if it doesn’t work out trade in mid-season or do a sign a trade at the end of next year so they’re playing the card right this is becoming more prom in the NBA you see this in European football all the time players got 18 months on this contract left so a year and a half 24 months 12 months and they don’t think the players going to stay with the team they don’t see that player in the future they trade them hella early hella early to get money or trade assets back there’s no draft picks in European football so it’s money back for you sell the player or you get players back kind of becoming more prom NBA you don’t want to lose a player for nothing like what happened with the Clippers and Paul George so you try to sell the player early and see what you can get back if they’re not in your plan for the future or they’re not looking to stay both the Warriors and Kings also have been linked with Pelican star Brandon Ingram Ingram excuse me as a team appears to be pursuing the forward Market gold state what have we done the Anthony Melton Kyle Anderson sign trade with Buddy heal at the timing of this video recording has not been finalized yet so if it’s been finalized when this has come out do not sacrifice Lam me please we are recording the video in the evening so it comes out in the morning when I say evening basically midnight where I’m at so it comes out early morning for yall so that’s what’s been happening of course clay 52 million three years to the Mavericks Sacramento GM Monte McNair has done a nice job so far he acquired Top Flight Talent Devin Carter resigned Sixth Man of the Year excuse me was last six man of the year he should have been but he got hurt Malik monk traded away Devon Mitchell crowd favorite backup point guard Sasha vov and the King second round pick to Toronto Raptors in exchange for Jaylen McDaniel so they made some moves as well what happened to them they lost in the play in they beat us in the first play in lost to the Pelicans in the second play in so they’re at the same level they made the playoffs the year before did not make it this two years before did not make it they got improve the team Mike Brown just signed the contract exension he got paid so they’re building for the now in the future Lowry for them would be a big get Fox sabonis low is your big three massive you probably think Kevin herder at that point is a part of that trade and then obviously again you got mon coming off the bench Wars we want him kings are trying to beat us to it I hope not if anything if we don’t get it go to the Spurs go to the Spurs don’t go to the Kings so that takes us to Klay Thompson again no longer with us I love clay a lot of the fickle fans newer fans are saying stop talking about clay stop talking about clay if you’re a warrior lifer you’ve been around for a long time you don’t just forget about a player who is getting his jersey in the rafters leaving on amical terms yes the last year we’ve been reporting it he was disgruntled he was frustrated he was not happy all that was going out but it does not diminish what he’s done for the Warriors and it’s important to share the information with you about the deals that have happened what didn’t happen and what led to this point because that could affect future trades future situations with current players free agents and Wars digest we’re here to report on Warriors news and we’re giving you the news so here’s the claim Thompson news we’re going to share the deal he tried to get his Camp gave to the Warriors and what led up to that six weeks before drain to the three-year fif milon contract with Mavericks Thompson took Warriors oner Jill Lake Jacob up on his offer to play round of golf at RI Rivier Country Club in La one of the nicest clubs in the world they just had a major there last year per usn were Mona shelborne and Kendra Andrews according to the women Thompson and lob did not discuss any contract details nor have any discussions about the team throughout their miday golf round how as Thompson reportedly feeling disrespected by negotiations over the past year in mid year that means we were out of the play and at that point already offseason’s begun over the next few weeks Thompson’s angent Greg Lawrence of wierman Media Group proposed multiple contract offers to the Warriors per shelborne and Andrews by the time this offseason arrived Thompson’s Representatives had proposed at least four contracts to the team each time throughout the season the response from the Warriors was that Thompson his Camp needed to wait while the franchise tried to improve the team and other deals most notably efforts to get LeBron James Brooklyn guard Mel Bridges who’s now with the Knicks four first round pi sorry five first round picks for that Clippers St Paul George what happened he walked the free agency Utah Jazz for Lowry marinan who we are still trying to get so what does that mean to Clay’s Camp hey we want to talk we want to talk we want to talk and they said Warriors brass said no we gotta wait we got to see what we can do with the roster basically saying Clay is not a priority that’s where you heard frustrations and then he’s taken out of the starting lineup he finds that disrespectful so he doesn’t feel like he’s getting the same respect that potentially Dre got Steph got and maybe it’s time for me to find pasture is green on the other side shelborne and Anders reported that Thompson’s Camp made one final offer to the Warriors a two-year $20 million per season deal Golden State communicated its desire to use Thompson in a non-starting role which according to ESPN Thompson was not thrilled the about ultimately did not view the request as a deal breaker so key there he was offered two years $48 million in the 2023 start of the year and he turned that down before the county year was over and he played out the rest of his contract he did not have a good season did not go up he bet him himself failed Aaron judge played that last year for his contract by himself and he became the home run leader in the American League and what happened got paid bet on yourself it works sometimes it doesn’t here it didn’t work he’s like you know what I’ll take a pay cut four years from 4 million per year from what you told me 8 million total I’ll come back we reported earlier on the other episode Brandon psky is the guy the words want to start at the two position all NBA rookie team this year they see bright future for him they want him to get reps so clay would be his backup not thrilled but not a deal breaker so as it says right there breaking that down and Golden State’s response we just can’t do it yet we just can’t do it yet one more time Golden State said we just can’t do it yet so golden state was the one saying you know what we can’t do this deal per ESPN that is them not putting Klay Thompson as a priority them not wanting his salary on the books him they wanted to find other players because they felt like his production was was a worth it or they needed to find other stuff to make a more well-rounded team Thompson in the final week before a free agency began having serious difficult conversations leading up to his departure he met with Steve ker and La then he called Steph and Dre and finally called blob and GM Mike Dy who asked him to help get a destination of his choosing through a signed trade and we know that he spoke to the Lakers spoke to Dallas LeBron James spoke to multiple times Kyrie spoke to Thompson and he chose Dallas for these reasons they were just in the finals so give a better chance to get back to the finals and win his fifth Championship he can become a key cog there they need some more shooting there you play next next to two isolation players Kyrie and Luca they get double teams all the time you’re going to be open make your shots goes to La yes you play Ander Michael Thompson his dad the radio host radio broadcaster still um was a Laker Legend H Legend might be strong word he played Five Seasons there but he apparently did not want to go to a team similar to The Warriors the same type of situation popping up he wanted something as a fresh start I saw some comments saying he’s not ready for the bright lights not true game six clay saved the Warriors in multiple playoffs multiple times he played in San Francisco he played in the biggest stage of the world Olympian gold medalist he loves the bright lights do not get it wrong I can understand wanted to go somewhere different and getting just a different um a change of scenery sometimes you need that for markeing again where we going to leave off at that’s s the clay pool said we’re in the driver’s seat kaming is not the table wiggin Hefty contract not part of the deal war is hesitant to give up four first round picks and we need a 1D team I saw a lot of comments saying this can’t be right you can’t hold all that so uh we’re going to stay up to date if anything breaks you know war is digest here we’ll gather information for you and give it to you so you’re going to one to subscribe so you don’t miss anything let me know your thoughts on everything we talked about today anything else I’m here for you let’s debate in the comments let’s chat in the comments and Let’s Stay Together Warriors fans and see how this plays out deuces

  1. Why is no talking about Lauri only playing 50 + games. Since he has been in the league it's been this way. The man can play, talent is undeniable. Warriors already have Curry who at this time plays 50+ games. I just don't believe giving up the kitchen sink is good for the warriors long term.

  2. Hey Randy, I am a recent subscriber and watch and like all your videos. I had a hard time hearing you on this one, was your volume up where it usually is? If so, wondered if maybe you could be closer to your microphone on future videos? Thanks!

  3. Also Curry wore down after the all-$tar break. Now he is playing in the Olympics. Not sure it's a good idea being older

  4. Klay has no one to blame but himself.
The Warriors have been nothing but over generous with him. They offered him $48m over 2 years, he turned it down. Then when he stunk like a skunk through the season, he came back desperate, it doesn't work that way at all.
He should have taken the 2 years $48m on account of the team being extremely gracious towards him through his injuries.

  5. Just a thought, but I think the warriors are trying to find a 3rd team to trade Andrew Wiggins to get this deal done. They need his contract to come off the books to stay under the apron and bring in Lauri. Not sure, but I can see this being the hold up.

  6. Fairweather fans, If you have been a warrior fan since Klay was drafted theres no way you wanted this guy out.

He has been elite, all time elite.

He got hurt trying to help warriors win a 4th chip.
Every GM would of been at his door offering max money if the warriors didnt.

Sheer bad luck on the second injurie.

Still to come back and help us win a 4th ring.

PG13 max money.. Kawi max money .. always injured and apart from 1 chip.. achieved nothing close to Klay yet they still always paid.

Now look at all our signings this season… Zero signing is better than Klay even currently.

    Melton .. serious injuries
draft pick.. nothing to go by
Lindy .. nothing to go by
Slow mo.. hes nice enough but still not better than Klay

Front office messed this so bad.

  7. As Klay is leaving, the big 3 falls apart meaning the dynasty is ended, Don’t expect another championship for the next 10 years no matter Warriors do 😂

  8. Randy Silver is TOTALLY WRONG about the guy who left the team. GSW paid 190 millions to him, waited THREE years for him to recover, received nothing in return and got betrayed by him. They waited for THREE years, but he did not wait a couple of days. His departure is the best thing that have happened to GSW in many years.

  9. I’m a real warriors fan screw klay screw draymond and shame on curry for never opening his mouth idiots ruined 2 dynasties and Mike Dunleavy is working for the lakers

  10. The report last night on the Kings radio was that it was a potential deal of 4 first round picks, 2 pick swaps, Kevin Heurter and a 2nd round pick.

and yes, you beat us in game 7… but your window for championships is closed. Steph can not win it by himself, Draymond is continued problems and Kerr for whatever reason has a problem letting the leash completely off of Kuminga.

For both the Kings and the Warriors Lauri does rebound well, but he is not a good defensive player. Offense hasn't been a problem with us, if they go this route it's simply to try to just outscore everyone and trying to just get a little bit longer.

  11. As an old, really old, dubs fan (I saw Nate and Clyde Lee in person at the Cow Palace) the dubs can win with one superstar. They did it in the Rick Barry era, even platooning the players. Steph can carry us for a season or two going forward but the supporting staff has to be better than average. I pray they get L.M., that would be huge, but I am not giving up on this year's dubs. Klay will be missed (but not his shot selection and drives) and we have some nice pieces now. If the young guns can step up, we can compete and any team with Steph can go all the way. sub.

  12. Happy 4th bro! I watched a few of your vids and you won me over! I subscribed last night lol! You’re doing an awesome job! Keep it up!

  13. I do remember Klay was willing to come off the bench for less money. He wanted to stay a Warrior smh. Wow they didn’t even want him back
