Marcel Siem spoke to the media after winning the Italian Open, and he was asked:
– Sum up this final round and finish for us.
– What does this victory represent for you?
yeah I mean it was really really tough I mean you saw the scoreboard everybody was making bogeys and doubles um it was really tough the wind was swirling pins and tucked in the corners actually for me perfect win off the right and uh pins on the right but uh was really tough out there and then um all the ho locations were in the shade already so because of the sun and it was very tough to put the uh to read the pots as well anyways um holding that P on 18 I think that was one of the coolest moments in in golf for me and um yeah doing it again now in the play was fantastic it’s just it’s just amazing um like I said yesterday that um everything went so quick um I mean my whole team was really really good I really have to say thank you so much to hga Fisher Martina di shim P Alex and and and Powell and Andre Cruzer M BL um from from Green Eagle the whole team from Green Eagle my my family they’re pushing me so hard and um believing in me so much and um I love this sport you know I just love it and and it’s so much fun to work hard for it and if you get rewards like this now um I love I love life I love golf um can’t can’t get any better at the moment
