these are the best golf shoes of 2024 and today we’re going to look at the most comfortable most stylish and best performing let’s get it so Johnny we’ve got a lot of gol shoes here haven’t we nared it down to um just a few here out of the array of gol shoes and offer in the golf industry what go should we go for best looking golf shoes first best looking golf shoes I mean there was a lot of contenders duely there uh but my favorite of this year and actually maybe my favorite golf shoe I’ve ever owned is these beautiful things this is the foot Joy Premier series field LX and they are frankly absolutely stunning um they’ve got full grain leather upper and they’ve also got this section that runs around the entire I don’t know what would you call it the entire circumference duration of the shoe whatever you want to say um which is adds a kind of point of difference to kind of traditional foot Joy shoes that we’ve seen before you’ll seen these on the feet of Cameron Smith this year Max Homer a number of other foot jooy players um and I mean hopefully you’ll agree what do you think Alex I think they are absolutely stunning I’m I’m always a big big fan of foot Joy shoes especially the premier series uh I think having the little accent of brown as well makes these I think for any type of golfer let alone traditional it’s it’s I think it’s a little bit modern as well I know there’s a lot of tech in there as we can see here we’ve got the Versa tracks as well yeah I I’ll be interested to see what there’s like leather I know it’s not snake skin but it kind of looks like it with that kind of yeah how that holds up over time in um M UK wet weather conditions but for the price of I think it’s £179 RRP I would imagine it holds up very well they are priced yet I mean you do have to look after them like any kind of leather golf shoe you need to keep them clean and keep them polished um but this section in particular which normally gets the muddiest of any kind of part of the shoe especially around the heel that cleans really really effectively simple wet cloth and it’s already gone um it’s also got an awful light footed so they not only look great but they are fantastically comfortable and they perform really really well yeah you mentioned the kind of vers track so um plenty of traction we’ve got obviously the soft spikes here and then array of different kind of like traction elements uh for vertical and horizontal traction lovely so you your favorite golf shoes ever uh looks wise absolutely I mean if it was if I had to wear a pair of shoes for 36 holes a day I may not select these just cuz they’re slightly stiffer and offer a slightly Les cushioning than other shoes in this list okay well I’m I’m happy you said that Johnny because we put these down if we were playing golf’s longest day not 36 72 holes we’re talking about Comfort correct yes what is the most comfortable golf shoe you’ve you’ve tested all of these bad Bo so again there’s a lot to choose from there is a lot to choose from I’m a massive fan of the G4 gallivant with a two instead of the T um they have this incredible insult that has like Nubs we’ll get a closeup of this bad boy but it kind of massages your feet it’s a weird looking thing it is a slightly oddl looking shoe this section that runs around the edge does make the footprint much much larger and you’re not the first person to point that out I actually do really like the silhouette of these shoes but that would be my only negative yeah but in terms of comfort these are excellent yeah and there super soft around here it’s kind of almost like a nepr collar um so they’re really really comfortable would highly recommend them but my number one pick uh basically like a pair of slippers is the brand new pummer Advance yeah wow okay you can probably tell by the fact that they’re slightly muddy I’ve been wearing these a lot and they are yeah they’re just incredibly comfortable straight out the box Comfort is absolutely First Rate um I I I would recommend these more for summer than for winter just because the traction elements aren’t quite as pronounced as other shoes on this list they are a spikeless model um but the leather is super soft there’s plenty of cushioning around the heel plenty of room in the toe box and I’ve had absolutely no issues with these shoes whatsoever and I absolutely love wearing them all the time um they’re just yeah and I I’m a massive fan of the kind of like modern take on a classic design um you still got this kind of Saddle which kind of hawks back to kind of foot Joys compar two yeah but they’ve kind of got the kind of performance benefits of a modern golf shoot and the out the boox Comfort we kind of come to expect no really good point I think as well touching upon these in kind of pummer in general I think what pummer able to do is provide that kind of modern touch on classic um shoes absolutely at a really affordable price cuz these are about1 if yeah just under 100 which issol bargain an absolute steal that I think is Comfort which is so important in golf I thought that would lead to a price that would be into the foot Joy dry Joys price 180 or so if you’re saying these are of that price I mean I know we can touch on Echo as well CU they’re I think one of the most comfortable Brands so these come at more of a premium price typ don’t they so I think this is definitely a dark course I I I touching up on Puma 2 GS F at 80 we’re kind of looking at a few shoes that are have a really good um rating for comfortability and and provide that modern touch aren’t they indeed absolutely so I’m going to put these back and we’re now going to touch on I think arguably I mean for me personally is one of the most important things I’m I’m not don’t know what your opinion is I’m more into uh comfort and performance if we’re really going to Performance shoes that will help we play better golf yeah a ridiculous statement but we’re in 2024 so we’re going to go with it and I and we’ve actually seen yeah it works it does what is the best performing golf shoe of 2024 Johnny so before we get on to the best performing sure honorable mention I have to give to the foot Joy Pro SLX carbon they’ve got this like racetrack out um which I thought was quite interesting when I first saw it cuz I thought oh that’s bizarre that they don’t have any um traction elements in the center but actually uh it pushes your way outwards like in a race car it pushes the way outwards and that’s what keeps you from kind of sliding around and is incredibly effective you also feel very very locked in in these shoes it was the first thing I noticed when I tried them on you feel super secure do you remember if you have a football you put a pair of Adas predat on for the first time you’re like I’m going to get so much curve on this football chistian Ronaldo when you put these on you feel like you’re going to absolutely send the golf ball because you feel so rooted to the ground yeah I was I played pretty well pretty well on these shoes I’ve worn them a couple of times um but yeah very comfy super good for performance but there is one that is slightly better and we will come on to that now and that is these bad boys so these are the under arour hover hover hover H hover yeah hover Drive Pro and we tested these for the first time out in Orlando at the PJ show me and Alex both tested them um and there’s there’s a lot going on here uh it’s primarily the traction elements are really really fantastic if you look at these here yeah is incredible isn’t it I really be able to use interaction ground force is one really massive thing with these shoes that we talked about didn’t we yeah and be feeling locked in I think is key for being able to kind of like swing freely and really go attack your shots really aggressively and these are I’d say yeah the best for that there’s so much cushioning around the hill that’s super super comfy that for me is massive um and they’ve got this UA swing support system which is a kind of combination of different elements in the midsole um and it’s meant to it’s you hear a lot of gimmicks in golf these days and when I’ll be honest oh I didn’t believe it for a second when they when they when they showed us your shoes for the first time in Orlando we tried them on they promised us huge ball speed increases uh too much drive drive and we were like surely there’s not a golf shoe that can actually do that well let me tell you I increased my club head speed by absolutely about seven or eight miles hour and you feel so so locked in and grounded in these shoes it’s it’s honestly remarkable what I will say with them and what we did is I think to be able to feel locked in and utilize that you have to I think understand the ideology of ground force as well be able to I wouldn’t personally say the claims that they’re making put your shoes the shoes on your game 10 yards I think you have to do that and understand what these shoes can offer and be like okay now I can try and utilize the ground a little bit more um but we saw like crazy things you you went up to 171 M out to on our bull speed I’ve never seen you do that I was carrying it kind of like 282 85 massive gains I my fastest bu speed ever with the 45 in driver 192 um they they work um seen the long drive seen as well they work as well so yeah so you got lock down lacing dual firm cushioning and smarter traction which is kind of this array of elements you’ll see here on the bottom sure um if you want to find out more about all of the kind of tech that goes into these head over to the under arour website because there is a kind of two-page essay on how these shoes can benefit your performance but we’re going to just try and some up here for you quite quickly but yeah these are I would recommend if you’re truly seeking better performance in golf look no further interesting so Johnny I’m going to pick on the spot before we end this wonderful video here you got so many shoes we’ve talked about the best looking best performing um best Comfort MH for the amount that you’ve tested what is your shoe that you wear in a day like today do you change it up or is there a specific shoe that you wear I I do change it up I change it up on because of conditions sure okay on a dry day if I’m walking I do I I wear these the pummer vents all the time okay super comfy super light and they just kind of prevent any real foot fatigue um if I was going for a fancy golf day yeah at a really nice golf course like Wentworth or somewhere I would probably lean into the foot Joys oh yeah and if I was going to try and shoot my lowest round ever I would put my faith in Under Armour absolutely but having said that there is an wide array of really high quality golf shoes this year the the selection is fantastic and we’ve had great offerings from Adidas New Balance j coso under Echo Nike as well they Ser a special mention the shoes of Ry mroy but yeah we couldn’t pick one stand out because the selection so good and they all kind of offered you different things but those three would be my suggestion if you are in the market in 2024 well put I think we certainly quite a lot of our best of wi guides got so many shoes here we could probably have another 500 behind us there’s a lot of really good choices um some of these are subjective as well some some could um fit you some could not fit you but I think in terms of comfort and what you said there I think that’s almost like 100% these will really really be good it’s yeah it’s also worth noting obviously everyone has different shaped feet I I have relatively narrow feet so if you do have super wide feet 100% go and get them fitted foot Joy offer an excellent service and they offer different widths of shoes so I’d highly recommend doing that but yeah that is uh my best shoes of 2024 I’ll be interested to hear uh you guys let me know down in the comments what your best shoe is of 2024 because I I could not agree with you more in terms of Under Armor but I I have some sort of different opinions than some other things but one who’s tested them um religiously I I fully agree with this as well I think best looking is from subjective isn’t it I love these um I love foj in general as a brand for those for the premier um but let us
