complain busy busy yeah you are I suppose let’s start straight into it then busy on this card three Fighters out three am I righton why did I think there was another one don’t know um big fight week quite fun that count yeah yeah yeah having him around us even if uh you’ve got to look after him and that count as having another babysitting job yeah that works that’s probably four in the end uh I suppose firstly with Cameron dealing with the pull out the fight feels a bit cursed I saw an interview yesterday where Cameron said he doesn’t think it will ever happen now what was your feeling in around cam a couple of weeks out of course I me listen these things happen don’t they in boxing it happened with Cameron you know obviously it wasn’t as serious an injury with Cameron by the sound of it um but sometimes things aren’t just meant to be and you know Cameron we was talking before you know during the camp and I was you know he’s always been really tight at um at 1:30 was it 130 135 yeah 135 so I said you’re probably going to have to move up after this fight anyway and they’ve made this fight at 140 so he probably just stay there now so um so maybe he’s never meant to be yeah fair enough um in terms of I mean Frank Smith said he still likes the fight but then when you look at the weight discrep listen let’s see what happens you never know what happens you know Jordan you know whatever he’s got to have done you know if he’s regarding surgery and stuff he has it done and then when it Jesus Christ turned into a rave I’m going to go this side Nigel must be in the party started um so yeah if if the fight’s there in six month time say if you know if he’s has surgery and he comes back in Rehabilitation and he wants to come to 140 and do it then then maybe it’s an option but we’ll see what happens um and then AK a ring return for him a rematch against Kane Baker is it more like dusting the cobwebs of and what was it for you in a sort of I suppose his last two performances weren’t the best getting him back to the level that we know he can box at yeah of course I think you know in hindsight maybe the belot fight might have been a couple of fights too soon for him but we we we like the fight at the time and we took we took the gamble he didn’t pay off um but you know he’s still the same talented kid coming through he’s got those those lessons on board now from that from being in that uh position and and his box Kane before but he was really young when he boxed Kane you know it was Weir situation lock down fight Camp yeah yeah very very small crowd there so um and and I it was his fifth fight I think so uh so Kane’s a lot more experienced now but so is akib akb’s probably grown into the into the weight a bit more he’s matured and um and you’ve got to be careful K Kane Baker is is a tough guy it’s his last fight so he he he’s like swansong so so he’s going to be coming trying to get a win and um and he they’ve got a history so but but the way A’s performing in the gym the way he’s been sparring um probably the loss to belotte in the long run will be be a blessing in disguise because he’ll learn a lot from it um your man Jack catell recently married so congratulations to him I doubt he’s watching but congratulations to him anyway um obviously that win over Josh Taylor a couple weeks off we’ll talk about what’s next for him but processing that win as such I know how much it would have meant to you and the team cuz it wasn’t just the win it was everything that came with the win the two years before fight one of the proudest moments that you’ve had as a coach I’d probably say the best the best the best night I’ve had as a coach because of the history you know you we’ve had so many good wins um but but for knowing what Jack had been through the process even before the the first tayor fight so to see him get get the Victory and get his hand raised um was something special and then he was a bit of a roller coaster really so he got married 10 days later and he was you know was like a whirlwind we actually did the Manchester run the next morning after the fight we three hours sleep yeah he was a bit bit mad but um but yeah I mean we had fights lined up with you know akib and Cameron so he was just a St back in the gym on the Monday well I suppose with Jack it’s a little bit the same and they always say that a happy fighter an active fighter is a dangerous fighter looks like he will have activity I suppose there’s probably three that it looked more likely Taylor Trilogy potentially but maybe would be fair to say that Liam parro or Barosa could be next yeah you would be willing to travel down under me of course and the main priority has got to be Jack for the fighting for the world title he’s got to be obviously if it can’t happen then the next best option for me would be someone like bar because it’s Eliminator and then he become mandatory um but the the Josh tayor fight if there’s Intrigue for it and and there’s a bit of a demand for it then I’m sure Jack could both financially as well yeah of exactly that but but the main the main focus has got to be in a will TI is that sort of Jack’s uh head space as well cuz I remember speaking to you God it must have been after Liverpool and I asked you about the Josh Taylor rematch and even then it’s not that you weren’t interested in it but you said the same thing to me you said it has to be a world title is that now the sort of head space with the camp it’s all right come on let’s get the world title yeah in in in many people’s eyes it should be a world champion he should have been a world champion already he need he needs the opportunity it’s not like you know is with matchroom and all the guys at 140 are in the stable so it shouldn’t be that difficult to make you know par great win um last week and hopefully you know the the the discussions are ongoing but hopefully that fight can be made for Jack we just on the world of boxing as a whole looks like Tyson fur and Alexander usk rematch December 21st wasn’t like a mad uneven fight I suppose as Brits we’re always going to little bit be a little bit more biased towards Tyson we know how tremendous usk is has never taken anything away from but I suppose if Tyson follows the right game plan there is a path to Victory there it doesn’t seem there wasn’t much in the fight you know I think usyk was the right winner but but there wasn’t massive amount of gapping between the two fighters and Tyson f is a very adaptable fighter so if you can adjust a little bit the only thing I worry about for Tyson is usk’s such a clever fighter he seemed to grow into the fight and it was like he sort of worked out for has the fight went on so you know Fury will have to be a lot different come with a different game plan and and adap which I’m sure he can do um going into the rematch and it makes it so intriguing it’s such a such a good fight do you think he does it I do do you yeah you know a lot of people talking to people this week and some people are saying is he past his best maybe he is but Fighters like Fior who were who were very adaptable they haven’t just got that one sort of style which he’s really hard to beat he’s he’s for in so many different styles I thought it’d be more aggressive so funny you say that cuz you can always he said she said I remember vividly being at the post fight press conference and Tyson said look if my corner had told me I was behind or there was a bit more in it than I thought I probably would have gone for it a bit more December as a fighter probably doesn’t leave much team to change the camp around too much but the tactics in terms of boxing like the bigger man I think simply would you maybe use his his advantages more to more effectively um you know I mean December’s quite away so he’s got plenty of time to to adjust things and and I’m sure he can do it on like even though he’s achieved so much activity has not been massive for him which in in in situations like this could be a good thing because the older you get you don’t want loads of miles on the clock and he hasn’t got a lot of miles on the clock so um so yeah he can definitely do it what do you think of Joshua Dall I love that fight I think it’s a great fight I do and and you know what if if this fight got made last year I’d be going who that you know toss a CO with that one you would wouldn’t you I just think I just think de he’s still young he’s still learning and he’s probably getting Joshua at exactly the wrong time because he’s probably in the form of his career now do you know what I mean can we take as much into sort of I mean we all speak up Anthony Joshua and then you’ve all obviously got the critics here and there and they say well come on look at the opposition but you can only beat what’s in front of you right AJ’s resume is fantastic I I think when you go through it the amount of Champions Champions he fought he’s he’s unbelievable and him and fi both in different ways have sort of really help the sport grow over the last sort of 10 years say so um so we’ll miss him when they gone we’ll miss him I tell you appreciate appreciate him while they’re yeah yeah Jamie Mo a pleasure lovely seeing you my man thank you speaking stomping ground
