we’re trying to stream on Tik Tok for next year we’ve we’re halfway to the goal basically we’re about around 500 followers we need 500 more to stream so please guys get us get us to that Benchmark and without further Ado will take it away who are you picking first alrighty so first overall I mean I’m the San Jose Sharks uh pretty straightforward it’s been uh publicly basically stated that uh mlin celebrini is going to San Jose and I don’t see why you wouldn’t go that direction um he’s kind of a rock solid Center up the middle of the ice that you definitely need to build a team around or at least a major part of the team to build around uh they’ve kind of needed a player like this uh over the last few years the culture makes sense the fit makes sense if it’s basically a match made and hockey Heaven I don’t know how much we need really need to get into this I don’t think there’s you know my gut it’s going to happen my brain that’s kind of the direction I would go uh well that is the direction I would go so we don’t need to spend hours on this one but mlin celebrini is going to the San Jose Sharks and uh I can hand it over to Sam and uh the S the the Chicago Blackhawks where do you what do you think they’re doing what do you what do you what were you what are you doing and what do you think they’re doing ladies and gentlemen does the Chicago Blackhawks do they walk up on stage and do what everybody thinks they should do and take Ivan demidov or do they decide to just throw money on fire and uh yeah got my idioms mixed up but that’s how confusing of a decision it is because ladies and gentlemen for pier cluster uh for the depiction of accuracy that we’re trying to capture I’m putting RTM Le shov at number two yeah you’re doing it eh yeah because this is a good decision okay so that’s is that draft is yeah okay so that’s what you imagine is going to be happening I’m assuming it has to be at this point right there’s too much smoke where there’s not there’s too much smoke yeah it does really seem like it’s going to go that way which kind of boggles my mind yeah um well have the conversation what we both think should be happening second overall next week but right now this is a this is this well uh sorry yeah this is this you’re dang right um all right so we can toss it back over to me the Anaheim Ducks if you’re taking uh Mr Le Mr Mr levanov second overall um personally the pick for me here obviously would be demidov but it does not seem like the Ducks are going this direction um it really seems like they’re going somewhere else I have no idea where they’re going to go to be perfectly honest uh they could go a wide variety of of areas um there was chat earlier today that they’re probably not dipping into the Russian pool so that would probably exclude salv and demidov um I doubt they go with z buam for me I think the perfect fit for them is a Kaden Lindstrom uh Lindstrom up the middle behind you’ve got you’ve got Leo Carlson already there he’s he’s a guy who can play the wing he can play up the middle uh there’s plenty to love and uh yeah Kaden Lindstrom is the guy who uh who i’ who I’d throw here for Anaheim for sure that makes Columbus the next fun team to pick and that’s very interesting pick see Columbus is the pick that may blow open the draft we don’t know who they’re interested in right uh part of me just does think it’s like a guy like salive if he’s there Kaden Lindstrom if he’s there but neither are um and when I look at everyone else on the board I kind of I are do you believe them to be the team that takes Ivan demad off they could like there’s their drafting strategy flops not flip flops thing adapts each draft it changes the thing with Columbus for me is that they’ve drafted a lot of skill lately and they are still in the basement and I’m not saying this is a real thing that I think about them but I can see how a new management team or ownership could see that strategy as a failure and go let’s change gears let’s bring in Don woodell who’s a fresh perspective and they change gears and go somewhere else I would not be surprised at all if they also say no to an Ivan demidov uh and and let him slip and go somewhere else but what’s your what’s your thought and you go right ahead and and and say what you need to say you know what you’re picking I’m going to pick Anton Sal I’m sorry to Columbus fans I’m sorry to Chicago fans I’m sorry to everybody um what’s wrong with Chicago why Chicago because I gave them leov now giving these guys Tov it’s just like I I really don’t know how these top picks are going to go if demov isn’t the guy for what it’s worth Montreal is picking next I don’t think they’d take him either but like think they’re a bit more likely than Anaheim or Columbus yeah I was just gonna say Sam’s so slightly more but I think they’re gonna take a guy like a ginla I was picking between ainla and Salia for Columbus he just wants demidov to the Habs it’s it’s just so it can happen like just even if Sam doesn’t believe he just wants to see if they would pass on up on the board Billy you are over to over to me it’s Ivan demidov uh I think that’s an easy pick for me to the uh Montreal Canadians I mean I can’t I I I last season it was like oh mitkov is here they’ll probably do that and they didn’t I there’s a part of me that doesn’t think it’s going to happen but there’s a bigger there’s like a 57% of me that is going yeah but they’re not going to do that twice in a row I think they’re I think that monreal need fire power so bad like they in their in their pool they need it so bad and I just don’t I just don’t see how they pass on him unless they’re looking for for sides to me at based on who’s been taken if it’s not demidov is it again maybe but that’s another Winger and I don’t I I just I mean so is demidov but I just can’t I don’t know uh they’ve made confusing decisions before it’s not the first but I for me in this situation where I am now I cannot say no to Ivan demidov at five so for Montreal I am doing it I have a hunch that that’s going to be an option for them but for all I know they might jump out and draft steinan soberg or something here for all we know I I don’t know search your feelings Sam he’s a big beefy boy I don’t know but for the purposes of this exercise it’s GNA be Ivan demidov well in that case the sixth pick belongs to my site won’t load it’s not Ottawa Ottawa is seven the sixth one is Utah ah Utah this esteemed prestigious uh longstanding draft with very wellestablished philosophy that everybody understands um I feel like they’re just gonna go ainla I feel like Utah ainla like I don’t really see him slipping all too much I feel like that’s just like the guy that gets slotted in here pretty easily well okay then um yeah so just uh yeah TJ just by Pro process of like he’s got everything NHL team’s fawn over but like he’s got the name and this is a newish franchise I don’t know I feel like it’s just one of those like if he’s there he’s the right guy to take kind of things because they’re not gonna get that franchise centerpiece unless like I’ll be honest I have been thinking if demov slips I don’t think he makes it past Utah oh I think he would I mean Utah I I look at Utah and I don’t know they drafted two gigantic players in the first round they drafted a bunch of gigantic players outside of the first round they have that’s fair only pure skill offensive output player they’ve really drafted high in the draft has been Logan [ __ ] and that’s it so are they going to do that again that’s true I don’t know I don’t think so that just does not seem like the way that they’re built I don’t think that that’s the case but considering the way this is gone I don’t like salivia is already gone uh I imagine that that might have been an option for them but yeah I mean uh I could see tjig ginla being the guy there’s a number of different ways I think they could go but they do seem to like those hardworking beefy guys and I think yeah they do be that could be that one day so seventh overall is the Ottawa Senators and I have the illustrious opportunity to draft for the Michael landel era Senators for the first time the Senators don’t really have a blue chip young young player at any position really but you have to be careful with that because schutza and Sanderson were drafted in 2020 those guys aren’t 23 years old yet uh they’re still pretty young yep so it’s not like this is an ancient group of team an ancient team that is all of a sudden drafting super high because all of a sudden they’re bad this is a team I think that wants to compete um that being said I don’t see it being zeve buam here for them I don’t see it being Berkeley kton for me I think it would be Berkeley katton here for them but I’m gonna throw Sam Dickinson out there that’s who I was thinking too seems like he has been they’ve asked him about it and apparently he’s been dealing with the sends quite a bit uh he apparently feels good about the idea of going to them not that he would say otherwise on on the internet that would be a death sentence um but I think it also kind of you know it makes a bit of sense in my gut you know he’s a very diversely talented player he is you know he can play both sides of the ice I’ve seen him play both sides of the ice with London this year I think he’s pretty raw in a lot of ways um but you can sort of let him develop for a couple of years uh the only thing against that argument that I have is that the Ottawa Senators uh is that the Ottawa Senators have kind of a short time clock here on a team that is competitive like they they have a core of players but like Brady kachuck is now in his mid 20s uh so you’re goingon to need to start sort of getting moving here while you have this core together um so I don’t know if that means you trade this pick or you listen about it or whatever uh but you know they have a few good young defensemen and maybe they can afford to be a little bit patient for for Sam Dickinson well on that note I believe this would be me it’s the Seattle yes sir for Seattle Kraken see this is where things get interesting because it could be anything it really feels like it could be anything they feel like a team that might be a little interested in a Sam Dickinson if he was still there this makes me feel like they’d be interested in zeum this is the name that like kind of comes to my head the other one however is if there was a team that was going to drop Berkeley Ken I feel like it would be Seattle so picking between the two is kind of tricky but I feel like the Instinct here is they’re gonna go Z I feel like Z boam is the guy that they’re gonna go for and I think that would be a good pick too that’s where I thought you would go for sure yeah I feel like Z is the right pick for them he’s just a great player he’s just the easiest defenseman in this draft without question to project to playing like quality top four hockey this is the type of guy Seattle fawns over at the draft too right yeah and they don’t really they drafted they’ve drafted High lately they’ve drafted forwards every time they haven’t they have not drafted def High lately and I you don’t they’re not draft it wouldn’t be a Draft pick on NHL need it’s a Draft pick on like their future roster construction like having a premier offensive defenseman they also kind of don’t really they have Vince dun but outside of that they don’t really have like a premier offensive defenseman out there um they have Ty Nelson in the in the cupboard but I don’t think he’s a sure thing um they have like Lucas dragas sevich who I don’t really think is a h super super high upside no guy uh but Z boam he’s he’s a guy you can run your power play through he can do a whole bunch of things so yeah I think uh in my in the pre in the pre in the preparation for this Z buan was the guy that I had penciled in across the board no matter what uh which way I sliced it for for Seattle so that makes sense um so someone asked for a recap of picks because they just joined so we’ll do that now uh so I picked celebrini first uh then Sam took linov second Kaden Lindstrom went to Anaheim for me uh Sam took salive for Columbus uh I sent demidov to Montreal sorry uh ainla to Utah and then Dickinson to Ottawa William to Seattle and here we are and I’m at Calgary’s pick you’re welcome um Calgary is going to be interesting because they don’t they they again they’ve they’ve sort of shed a lot lately they got a lot of assets now they’ve got some young defensemen that are all kind of neat I suppose um they have a chance here at Berkeley Katen in our situation at 9 here I don’t know if they go that ction the only real like pure skill guy like they drafted Matt Coronado a couple of years ago but it’s a new general manager now um gez they could go any number of different directions here but I’m gonna yeah you know what I’m doing it I think this is a reasonable Place uh re realistically speaking to put Berkeley Kon so I’m going to put Berkeley Kon in Calgary at nine he he they they added a couple of defenseman over the course of the season they don’t really have like a premier forward prospect that they can sort of rely on and I think Kat at nine makes sense um he should be gone earlier but in reality I don’t think that’s that’s what’s going to happen so um so yeah that’s my that’s my that’s my take there Berkeley C and N to Calgary yeah I think that’s a pretty good one right there uh this leaves number 10 and this is where I think the draft is going to start getting real interesting but I think number 10 might be a bit easy for a team like New Jersey given that they are expecting to be in the playoffs pretty much every year going forward like they’re this was not suppos this is not where they were supposed to be what’s a very very good playoff player there’s a guy who thrives in the middle six who makes chaos and everything and just can play with pace and feistiness his name is Michael brag nard a damn I was hoping You’ forget about him and Michael brag nard is now in New Jersey okay it doesn’t work when you do more than that but yeah I like I feel like fitwise it’s like any team that’s trying to be in the playoffs ASAP but still like strike the balance of not wasting this pick getting a valuable like core asset may be a stretch but just one of those badass middle six players but this one on an RFA deal for you would be awesome for them I think it’s just such a very easy pick for them maybe a buffalo as well like that’s just the type of team I see grabbing a guy like him yeah I I think that’s a fair assessment um I think he would fit in with New Jersey they’ve got a lot of skill they’ve got a lot of you know speed in their game and they kind of need a little bit of beef and he’s a guy who might be in the NHL not this coming season but the year after maybe two years from now and who knows uh I think he could be a good sort of supplementary guy um so the Buffalo Sabers another tricky one um you’ll notice that Zayn perk the Keen Among Us zann perek is still on the board um I don’t think it’s GNA be perk for Buffalo I don’t I don’t know if it’ll be Eiserman I I I want to think Eiserman but they’ve drafted a lot of forwards High outside of of Owen power the they’ve got power and dalen as their first round picks that are defenseman in the last little while and I think they could use some more defensive depth um but I don’t think it’s going to be perk uh the one I’m going to throw out there as a realistic possibility is Carter akchuk I think that for I think that the for the what the I mean the Buffalo the Buffalo Sabers just went out and got Bowen Byrum they have Owen power they have Rosas Dalene so what’s a little bit more skill in their lineup um he’s got a bomb from the point he’s big he plays pretty heavy I’m not a huge fan of him but I get the feeling that if you can sort of you know he’s a right-hand shot they don’t really have like much of that at all uh especially at a high sort of end young player I would personally Go a different direction but if it were coming down to it on draft day I could see that yakimchuk might be the option here and they just go you know what like we’ll send him back to the WHL really focus on his defensive game really try to improve it and then see where he’s at next season and maybe he’s an a HL defenseman next year and you sort of work your way up the lineup that way so for me I’m going to go with yakimchuk um the only other one that really sort of came to mind was Adam J um so maybe him as well he’s another right-hand shot that maybe I would maybe look for before yakimchuk but considering what they’ve already got in their defense group I feel like yakimchuk is is more possibil more of a possibility and a realistic one uh that leaves us at Philadelphia pretty fair assessment so what’s interesting here is that my I’m torn between three players who all popped in my head at the exact same time all three of them feel like they could actually Adam Urich is also feels like some they could take so that you that’s four but I don’t think it’ll be the him but Cole Eiserman feels like a Philadelphia player nasty but you know scores goals uh sty soberg feels like he could go in the spot and I also have a little bit of belief that a um what’s his name Trevor Connelly I don’t know what it is about Trevor Connelly in the spot that feels right but I feel like they’re kind of G to look at them maybe a little bit I don’t think they go that way so it’s mostly between Eiserman and soberg I kind of think they’re the team that’s going to take Cole Eiserman that’s what I was was going to say and I think Flyers fans would love Cole Eisman so do I I feel like Cole eisman’s a Philly player yeah like the they like draft him from the ntdp they do they have done it a few times in the last four five six years um yep but I I think Cole irman makes a ton of sense like if I’m the Philadelphia Flyers uh I want a guy with a bit of swagger he can score goals you know they’ve like I get like we talk about demov and Bard and like that being a thing I man and mitkov on the same team on a power play unit not so bad I I think that that would be a pretty interesting combination um and I think fers fans would adore that guy because he just plays so hard and and and can be a pretty physical guy um so we’re going to go to Minnesota 13 I think Minnesota here goes for constant helenus uh that’s my pick here ever since I had the thought that like kind of like constant helenus kind of reminds me a bit of how I feel about what I remember of Kovu over the last little while uh just a really really really smart sort of blank slate player decent off good offensive player you know lacks Pace in his game lacks I’d say highend skill you know but just works around it pretty well I think this is a reasonable area to start thinking about helenius even if I have him a little bit lower um and I think that this just kind of makes sense for Minnesota he plays that kind of well-rounded cerebral but physically intense game that I think Jud bracket and the wild have kind of looked at with guys like Ogen and HOV and Rossi and all of that they kind of value these 200 foot all over the ice value dudes and I feel like helenius is just another one who you can also shelter him a little bit in the lineup you know third line guy you know but a good one sure I could see that easily and I think for Minnesota it makes a it makes a lot of sense here yeah all right uh that is who I was thinking from Minnesota as well so the question is San Jose Sharks I think especially given that they took celebrini at first overall the name that immediately jumped my head felt the most right is I think this is the team where that takes Z per I think this where Zay I think this is gonna be where Zay pre goes huh huhuh interesting okay it’s part of it is because they’re they don’t drafting offensive blue liners for starters um for some teams and clubs especially when evaluating what they do with the first round pick like you can see that there’s just types of guys they won’t take and Zan per uh defensive Zone play his neutral zone play his transitional play it all like you can kind of see how teams might be I don’t know if that’s the first guy I want to take San Jose’s biggest factor is a they already secured a franchise piece in the draft they can kind of take the swing on really elevating their offense of game per as you’ve said it before yourself he’s kind of a John kingberg type that’s not necessarily the bad player to follow up a mlin celebrini selection with uh they’re not really they’re still on a stage of the rebuild where I don’t think they’re going to be stacking out forwards especially since some of their forward prospects have kind of like taken a step the last little bit Quinton musy has uh gone a bit forward you also have Eckland on the team already doing great stuff you’re going to have celebrini joining it like you have enough there and not enough like Proficiency in right-handed defenseman to for this kind of just to be the team that makes sense for him well and if it’s not them then I think he’s gonna fall because I don’t see Detroit St Louis Washington or Chicago taking him I mean I think people are going to be surprised with where he goes in the draft I I think are gonna I think people are going to see that he doesn’t go as high as people think he will um and I think I think I I don’t know I don’t have it like confirmed or anything but I mean for me I spoke to a couple of people and they were like yeah I think top 10 is probably not GNA happen but you never all it takes is one team but they’re like I don’t I don’t think top 10 for him is GNA happen so for me this range kind of makes a little bit more sense and considering the strengths and weaknesses he has then I think this is an interesting spot I don’t I don’t know if San Jose will do it because Mike Greer’s history like I was convinced you were going to say Adam jurich and a lot of sh and a lot of sharks fans are kind of penciling him in here because I think he fits a little bit more of that of that Mike Greer mode possibly but perek is sort of that offensive Dynamo guy who maybe just sort of offsets the guys like Muka Mulan who they also have sort of in the stable I don’t know um but there’s a number of ways they could go from here uh so that’s it like there’s just too many different ways to build out the core that is by the way that’s the 14 top players on average uh all gone in the first 14 picks uh according to average rankings out there so I doubt that this is exactly how it goes never super off it will not uh but I think May the fans Rejoice yeah so the Detroit Red Wings I honestly like not that it’s kept me up at night but wondering what the Detroit Red Wings are going to do here I don’t I don’t have a clue like because there’s a lot of different ways I think they could go um and it would all a lot of them would make sense to me I I I see all kinds of options for them they could draft another defenseman I feel I feel like I want to say styan soberg here I feel I don’t think he’s gonna go this high on draft day though I just I don’t think so I I I was reading if if anyone else did uh I always find it really f fting to flip through the hockey prospect black book where there are a lot of quotes from NHL people and in solberg’s area a bunch of NHL Scouts were looking at are giving quotes about him and it was from May and June of this year and they’re going I don’t think he’s actually going to go in the in the middle of the first round like a lot of people have I think maybe maybe he gets into the first round maybe late maybe early second um which is kind of around where I have him but they did draft mider and him into a pretty solid defenseman but they also do kind of lack a lot of you know they draft they have they have a lot of solid forwards but not a lot of like uh you know like not a lot of Zing to their young forwards really um I think what I’m going to do is go with Michael haage I think Michael haage to Detroit I really like a really just starting it a really well-rounded and diverse offensive forward he’s played center he can play the wing he’s a great player off the boards he’s a pretty determined guy he’s confident the skill level is really really high um I think that the creativity is also really high he drove really good metrics pretty much across the board in my data the only thing for me is that is he might not be the best defensive player um he kind kind of lacks a bit of quickness and foot speed that you kind of will need in the NHL but if his skating can develop with with Detroit I think he fills quite a lot of things that they don’t have uh in their stable I mean I know they just drafted Nate Danielson I get it but I I like Michael ha more than I remember I like me liking Nate Danielson um and I think that he would be I think he would thrive in a place like Detroit and I think I think Redwings fans would really really like him especially working off of some of the younger guys like Marco Casper that they’ve got in the system already do you want to recap we’ll stop here for a second and recap top 15 picks yeah uh so we started with uh mlin celebrini then Arch Levin off to Chicago Kaden lindström to Anaheim Anton Salia to Columbus uh Ivan demidov to Montreal tjla to Utah Sam Dickinson to Ottawa zeve buam to Seattle uh Berkeley K to Calgary Michael Bron new guard to New Jersey Carter yakam Chuck Buffalo uh Cole Eiserman to Philadelphia love that one uh cona helenius to Minnesota uh Zane perk to San Jose with the Pittsburgh pick uh and Michael ha just went to Detroit so Sam take it away you got St Louis at 16 Stein soberg oh geeez okay it feels just exactly like who I feel like that’s who St Louis soberg feel like soulmates I can’t see him slipping too much he just loves to smash players and that’s something NHL teams absolutely adore St Louis I can’t imagine them looking at a guy like soberg and at least not being very interested in picking him some believe that he might not even be here at this pick to begin with yeah I mean we’ll see I am very interested to see what happens with him on draft day I mean St Louis they did draft some last year uh dorski and even lindstein kind of is that type of a player is yeah so yeah I could I could see it um and I wouldn’t be against it you know I certainly wouldn’t be against it um so Washington at 17 uh um Washington at 17 let’s uh actually before we do this AJ a lot of people are asking about keeping track of the names do you want to just write them in the chat I have them don’t worry are they on stream oh like um yeah like people are having trouble like keeping track okay so I’m wondering if we should just announce them in this the chat here let’s see does this work yeah I can I can put the Nam that doesn’t I have a list going anyways that I I can post at any time when people need it as well right okay uh either way whatever um okay so the Washington Capitals uh another team that kind of needs everything I think they’re in the sort of opening uh like the opening rows of a of a real rebuild here I know they made the playoffs this year but I don’t think that’s a repeatable thing um generally they draft from North America this high so that leads me to some sort of other direction but I’m going to go a I’m going to make it a little spicy here I’m going to make it a little spicy uh I’m gonna throw out uh a player that that I feel like is kind of flying under the radar a little bit uh but I’m gonna throw a jet lenko to the to the Washington Capitals here uh I think this is a guy who is going to be a hell of a hockey player in five years um I know I saw green tree of Washington just pop up I mean they they wear very similar looking jerseys I’ll say that they they wear very similar looking jerseys but I don’t I don’t know if I don’t know if greenre is gonna go this High I think luchenko with the youth he’s got the smarts he’s so so smart so so selfless and like again that Berkeley Kat style player but knocked down a peg that that that I mean that as a compliment I could see jet lenko being an inter pick on draft day that goes a little bit higher than people think um and I’m going to throw I’m going to throw Washington uh Mr lenko and they do kind of in the past guys like Conor McMichael and um who’s another one like even Ryan Leonard uh just guys who are smart Team guys and I I get the feeling that luchenko will be an interesting uh an interesting ad so I’ll throw back to you for Chicago have some fun yep uh what are you adding with your RM leion I can’t it’s I’ve already made the pick um it’s going to be someone who quite honestly I feel like this is the one we’ve let slip through based on what the NHL has been saying to some extent anyways this is Becka seneki okay like if jet lenko went above Becket seneki in real life I’d be like it would be surprising but I could see it I I’m using my NHL I could see it I could see it is it happening but but explain your logic I’m gonna well because Becket seneki isn’t the the big public rise with seneki came pretty much at the exact same time that a certain somebody said that Montreal was looking at him at fifth year uh fifth overall and when that happened a big public rise happened and you know every the expectations that seneki will now be a top 10 pick seem to have been formed by the just regular public discourse I’ve been reading I don’t really think the NHL thinks the same way I don’t either they were all on board before that announcement came out which doesn’t seem to be the case based on what Bob McKenzie’s rankings were and some of the other rankings that came out from insiders or they were all just kind of like wow everyone suddenly likes this guy who didn’t change anything in the last like month of his play um so I feel like midir is where senes should be going maybe a couple NHL teams have him higher but he is a very enticing one-on-one player I don’t think he’s the greatest play driver by any means this is not a forward I think you want to p take in the top 10 or something like that but a big toolsy uses his range uses his skill can beat guys one onone and create chances those types of players I think Chicago would be very interested in have adding one of those guys to their top six back at sen right there they have Conor Bard I don’t know what else needs to be said yeah I could see that I think it makes a lot of sense um I think that’s a reasonable area to take him I this one’s easy for me I got Vegas at 19 what do they know what Sam Sam what is it about Las Vegas that everybody knows they love to do not the hockey team but the city itself what is it known for gambling gambling who is the biggest gamble in the entire draft this year who has not been drafted by either of us so far Jesse pinan I’m not actually I’m not being serious good answer not a bad choice uh well debatable um Trevor Conelly no I was gonna say Adam jurich and I think Adam jurich I think Adam jurich makes an excellent Vegas golden Knight he’s beefy he’s mobile uh he brings a lot of strong stable defense they don’t seem to really play a outside OFA Theodore they don’t really have a tremendous amount of really intense uh like intense offensive leaning Defenders I know they got Noah Hanahan um but I think Adam jurich fits into that mold for Vegas and I definitely definitely see them seeing it they have a first round pick they had they have a first round pick last year they took edstrom they’ve already traded him I think that if they’re looking at this they’re you know what I don’t know we’ll see what happens but this guy could be one of the best defensemen in the league I think he was just getting better as he got injured so I’m gonna throw jur out there uh at 19 to Vegas and I I if I’m Vegas that’s if I was telling Vegas what to do here I think that’s what I would do personally an interesting position with New York Islanders yes so the New York Islanders are up the Islanders have not selected in the first round in 202 3 2022 2021 or 2020 and when they did draft in the first round the last two years in 2019 and 2018 they took Seaman Holstrom Simon Holstrom and Oliver walstrom oh and Noah Dobson that’s a that’s a big old dub um well isn’t that just an unfortunate list of players uh that makes this next one a little interesting because there’s a lot of guys that I could see them taking but I don’t know who it is do they take a Liam Green Tree I don’t think so do they take a Trevor Connelly I don’t think so do they take a k dwen they’re the team that feels like they might what about a Dominic badinka or Sasha V what about a Dean Leo EJ now you’re talking now you’re speaking like this is the type of pick I feel we’re getting here one of these boys I just don’t know which one and there’s a lot of options lenus Erikson they won’t be the team to do it no they would it be cool um ah wow wow this one’s tricky I feel like the right balance of answers is Sasha B but I don’t think they do it I don’t think they do it I think it’s I think I’m gonna say Co B Colo D it is honestly sorry go ahead I do you see where I’m come from with this AB feel right to you 100% I see where you’re coming from this feels right I don’t know why I for what it’s worth if I’m the Islanders here like I’m screaming Teddy sta but like it’s basic it’s basic but he’ll play I feel like he’s gonna play yeah they’ve got Matt Martin they’ve got Cal clutter Brook they’ve got Casey czas they’ve got those guys where I’m coming from like welcome I think there is value to that like it’s like hey welcome to Winter welcome to Camp welcome to NHL camp kid we’ve been here for 20 years here’s how it is to be like if you want to be like one of us here’s what it’s like and and I think that that’s not a bad environment for him I think he’s a little bit more of an offensive player than those two guys but how much that’ll work in the offense in the NHL I don’t I don’t know but I could easily see this happening the guy I had here for them was Emil Heming going into tonight um I thought that was a guy that maybe they would look at they also that’s an interesting one they’ve drafted out of Finland a little bit over the last couple of years I believe they drafted a player out of TPS not too long ago uh ichu Lucas I think played for that team uh I’m going to double check that right now but yes he did so ichu leucas came from the same program um so there’s a possibility there’s a connection there but outside of that uh yeah I mean but I mean Cole bwen kind of checks a lot of boxes for them um LA Kings oh boy uh this one could go a variety of directions um yeah as with a lot of draft picks uh I don’t because they also draft kind of from all over the world there’s no real Trend they they do kind of focus on Americans quite a bit last year they took Dvorak they they they haven’t really drafted a whole lot of smaller players ah um bless you uh let’s oh oh you can hear my brother in the background e yeah it’s all right just the one time uh oh boy um you know what I’m gonna throw Liam green tree out there for the LA Kings I’m not sure that that’s what they’re actually going to do I have no knowledge of this but I think there’s a lot of upside to that pick I don’t think they’re a team that’s scared of drafting players where skating is their issue and I think they can work on it with them um so I’m gonna throw green tree out there there were a lot of options that came to mind bav popped into my head uh they don’t usually draft a whole lot of CHL players but I think I think that green tree might be an exception with with just how much skill and projectable NHL traits he has and again at 21 if you get a middle six guy who can score off the wing uh and play a pretty physically resilient game I think i’ I think I’d go with green tree yep Nashville okay this one just feels I don’t know why I looked at this it immediately clicked the the if he’s still on the board here they take Trevor Connelly interesting yep I mean in terms of pure talent there aren’t that many players left who have like tremendous upside he is one of them he is arguably the second best because T Teddy sea still on the board um he as a rocket of a shot amazing skater extremely deceptive in motion when everything is working with this game he looks like a guy who we should have picked like 20 like 15 20 spots like he he’s unbelievable at the top of his game at one point had me going like that’s a top five guy or at least pushing for it uh I think he will slip in the NHL draft for the reasons that everybody’s expecting him to slip through the draft four but I wonder if this is the team that Picks Them Up just because they’re trying to win they’re he’s a guy who could play within three years and make an impact on that he plays with speed he plays with pace he’s feisty though like he’s the typee of guy you can see kind of playing in the playoffs I don’t know there’s just somebody’s got to take him in the next like three or four spots I don’t think Trevor Connell is a day two player I think once the 20s start is when the NHL teams are like oh boy okay now let’s take them I honestly thought this was where you were going to go with this um and for me like the thing about Trevor Connelly I agree Talent I think he’s a top I’d say in the 8 to 12 range something like that this year yep I also look like his history is not good right there’s stuff that everybody knows there’s stuff that everybody doesn’t know it’s not great it’s not you and I both know it’s not great but it’s not great people but at this point in the draft I do think that the national predators historically are a team that is a little more tolerant of that kind of thing but they also don’t seem to have a whole lot of issues with those players once they show up Mike robero aside I think is the exception to that but I do think they have is a good group of dudes I think they have a good group of dudes on the team where at this point you can look at Trevor Connelly and go look this is day one of your new life don’t screw it up these guys will hold you accountable and but they’re also going to like help you reset yourself here like if you want to be a pro hockey player like it we’re going to help you get there but like you got a XYZ right like Ryan O’Reilly he’s been through his fair share of personal stuff that has gone public and it was not pretty so I think I think that there is an argument to be made that Trevor Connelly could be a nashvi predator I think Barry Trot I think Barry trotz looks for players like him and I feel like you don’t want to make Barry trots disappointed AJ you love Barry trots I I I you wouldn’t want to disappoint him either I would never want to uh disappoint drad yeah exactly yeah no way so I get the feeling that what you yeah I think you just nailed it uh I think Connelly to Nashville makes a whole lot of sense considering who’s available uh oh God okay the Toronto M police all right uh I’m sorry AJ I don’t know what I’m gonna do here oh or take Misa but it won’t happen I don’t think that’s gonna happen um Toronto just pulls a rabbit out of their hat Toronto clearly clearly loves smart players uh and then build stuff around that intelligence guys who can compete guys who play hard oh yeah alon’s free too I don’t think it’s gonna be him either it won’t uh [Music] I G whiz um let me I honestly I forget who Toronto’s drafted the last few years but there’s a lot of ways they could go here they’ve drafted they’ve drafted six Canadians out of their last eight picks and the other two were gigantic players um one played in the USL I should say but yeah Easton Cowen was a really smart player um right yeah Fraser Minon very intelligent player a nerd so Toronto loves nerds Toronto loves to dra nerds I’m killing I’m honestly just botching this because I don’t know what to do um just just give us just give me Frey please no I’m not doing it um competitive guy oh oh my god oh man I have I’m panicking now I have a name too but it’s going to piss everyone off um oh I have one that wouldn’t piss everyone off all right well throw it at me but I’m not gonna probably do it I I have was Andrew Bosa yeah I don’t think it’s gonna be him I don’t think so I don’t think I I feel like he he toes the line as to someone that they might be interested in especially if they’re trying to up a but you know what yeah now the more I say it the more I think about I it’s not uh I got it I know I have it now uh Trevor how or Tanner how sorry not Trevor we just did Trevor Connelly but Tanner how to Toronto at 23 I think I I think it’s crazy I think it’s I think I was gonna say sam O’Reilly I was gonna say because he’s he’s a competitor he plays a projectable style of play he’s big sure I mean they drafted Fraser Minon top 40 but I don’t know Tanner how he’s a competitor he’s a little smaller but so is Easton Cowen uh like he’s got some skill he has an awful Supporting Cast in Regina he’s only going to need to be there another year and then you can put him right on the Marley’s right away I think I think it’s a possibility I would not if if I’m a Toronto fan I’m not thrilled about it but I think it fits what Toronto’s looking for and projecting him out in a few years I think they’ll have a value a decently valuable player at that’s that it clicked a little bit in my head once I saw his name there’s just a lot of other names I personally would look at first but I’ll throw it back to you for Colorado because I don’t want to talk about Toronto anymore okay well this one just kind of locked in by default uh I’m calling this is where Sasha B goes all righty tool Z center with i i the Paradox that he is the clunky fluidity that he plays with at times super buttery smooth other times he when handling the puck in motion um sometimes you see amazing defensive instincts sometimes you see what the heck are you doing sometimes his off buuck game and the way he moves with his line Mates is really good other times you’re like what the heck are you doing sometimes he’s really Distributing well around the offensive zone and moving really well other times you’re like what the heck are you doing I feel like this is the type of guy though who has enough in his game where you can see a complete package I think there’s upside I think barring a couple habits get fixed there’s also floor and I think a team would know like I’m imagine Colorado’s interviewed him and came away thinking okay yeah like you don’t have to be concerned about the fact that maybe sometimes he looks completely lost in the dzone because it’s uh XYZ who knows with this but in general developing centers with tools who actually have upside but also have a bit of floor just due to the size their wings spin their reach physical play which he could improve on still but you see the framework with him you can just kind of see how if everything gets better there’s a monstrous player underneath and probably one of the best centers in the draft I don’t think a team like Colorado is going to pass on him especially if they just give him three to four years to develop proper fair enough I mean there’s a lot of decent players left over um but yeah I totally can see that so we’re at 25 we’ll do a recap uh just to catch everybody up so we have celebrini to San Jose levanov to Chicago we got Lindstrom to Anaheim we got salv to Columbus demidov to Montreal uh we got ainla to Utah Dickinson to Ottawa we got zeve buam to Seattle Berkeley Ken to Calgary Michael Bron new guard to uh New Jersey Carter yakimchuk to Buffalo we got Cole Eiserman to Philadelphia conto helenius to Minnesota Zan perk to San Jose Michael ha to Detroit uh styan soberg to St Louis uh by the way how is my pronunciation of Detroit uh since the beginning of the season I think it’s come a long way I’m just going to throw that out there much much better much better uh to Washington I sent jet luchenko uh Beck at Sena went to Chicago thanks to Sam we got Adam jurich going to Vegas uh Cole Bood dwan going to the New York Islanders a little off the board fun uh we got Liam Greentree going to La Trevor Connelly going to Nashville uh I sent Tanner how to Toronto uh Sasha B goes to Colorado and the Ottawa Senators now what um so I did some research going into this about what teams generally doing going into the draft when they have multiple first round picks and it is usually the case that they draft alternating positions they don’t usually draft two defensemen they don’t usually draft two forwards they usually go for one of each and with Sam Dickinson already off the board they’re gonna go forwards the best forwards available on paper are chernishov artamonov Basha uh Heming and Ryder Richie Teddy ster Terk perac uh Lucas Patterson Dean Lono so oh boy go Dean LNO you know that’s what you want to do it is what I want to do but I don’t think he goes this early um oh but he is right in ottawa’s backyard G whiz it’s tempting uh have they drafted a whole lot out of Ontario they drafted out west twice last year they drafted oh boy yeah they don’t really draft a whole lot of Canadian players since that 2021 experience come on down to Belleville you know what I’m gonna do I’m gonna do this it’s GNA be Maxim massay I’m gonna send Maxim massay I think they’re going to go to Quebec go with the big beefy Quebec qua kid I think it’s too high I have I don’t even have Messi ranked but the all the Scouts in Ottawa are the same as they were and I think a lot of NHL teams are going to be focused on resilient beefy players guys who can stick out their bums and keep players away yes exactly Sam and if you want that in this year’s draft and you are putting on your Ottawa senator’s hat with the scouting staff that they have Maxim massay comes to mind especially if you’re going to draft a forward here and not a defenseman so I’m going to put Maxi Messi there I don’t I hope it’s not him but I think that’s entirely a possibility if I’m an Ottawa Senators fan uh especially because Ottawa is basically in Quebec no offense to Ottawa residents uh they’re not he’s not they’re not too far apart so uh yeah I’m gonna put M out there well you made me change who I was picking for Montreal because the whole they alternate positions thing because you right I can’t think of any inst generally more often not more often than not so we’re going to keep with that although Montreal really could stand a draft two forwards here nah screw it I’m going with my heart I don’t care about any of that ladies and gentlemen the Montreal Canadians have walked to the podium they’ve walked on stage and they have elected Teddy stiger from the US national team development program because I need something in my life if the if the Habs walk away with five and 27 scream that you know it’s not gonna happen they gonna mess this up but oh but it would be absolutely spectacular stuff if they did truly you’re totally correct I uh I agree I sta came to mind for me at this pick just makes a ton of sense he actually feels like the type of Montreal like I feel like they will take sta if he is there I don’t think he’s gonna slip by them I don’t know why it might be pure copium but for what it’s worth before I went back to my heart and I the defenseman I had picked for this was Dominic binka all right that’s that’s the guy I was going with but yeah between like demov and Stiga we have uh that’s big energy there that’s just yeah you yeah that’s walking out of the draft with two cigars in your mouth just go like a g okay so the Carolina Hurricanes I can feel the eyeballs on me now last year I didn’t think they were going to go with Bradley and Ado but it makes sense why they did they it’s just zoom zoom skill boy like that’s that’s it right he’s a very very high Pace High skill guy um they have a lot of that Felix aurum very very smart uh very smart player they’ve drafted a ton out of Russia they are still chov there’s still aranov on the board I don’t think it’ll be aranov they H another tricky one they could go in a variety of different directions uh boy I can feel I can feel it I can feel the DMS coming from Carolina right now where they’re like what are you talking about why would you send him to us uh but that’s okay just stop overthinking again pick aranov no no no no it’s not gonna be OV I’m gonna go with I’m gonna go chov I’m gonna go I think chov you know like really I think he’s a very very well-rounded player he’s a little bit of a different vibe to what Carolina already has he should be gone by now really a guy who in the KHL every single game at least got a few good scoring chances even though they didn’t go in he’s got skill he’s got some size he’s got some separation speed I think he has a lot of the things that an NHL needs even if he isn’t likely to be like a top top six Superstar I think there are some players on the board that if things go right they might be uh Ryder Richie came to mind here not that he’s one of those but just another really really smart Puck management guy but I don’t think he’s quite up their alley as much so I’m gonna put chernishov here uh because he should be gone by now they draft a lot of Russians and I think that he’s a little further along in his development and I think I think he’s the type of guy that a guy like Rod brymore would love to coach and uh yeah so I’m going to throw out chesha there all right I have no idea who Calgary is going to take I this is I I’m stumped on this one I’ve jumped between like eight different names I’ve jumped between Andrew Bosa Emil Heming lenus Erikson Dean Lon no but then I took that one off the table Dominic badinka EJ Emery uh probably other players I’m not even considering because I’ve kind of honed in on these ones I I genuinely don’t I feel like Emil Heming is the guy who keeps popping into my head but I don’t know I haven’t really looked into how Calgary like what their philosophy usually is when drafting Europeans like what type of European they draft well we don’t need to talk about the last fin they they’ve drafted one player out of Finland since 2018 cool player is likely going to jail yeah don’t need to yeah not a super common occurrence all right so why don’t we move a little bit away from Nate one then let’s uh let’s go with ejm I feel like that’s who I’m going to put in here and it’s just gonna kind of happen and yeah EJ Emery um it’s not my personal pick and Flames fans if you’re upset Joel Henderson I’m sorry um my reasoning for this is a little flimsier because I don’t usually know how you guys draft as well as some of the other teams but in terms of emry himself I don’t I can see him being a late first or an early second round pick for the NHL they he’s just a simplistic Defender but he comes from the ntdp which means he’s already got a little bit more pedigree than some of his contemporaries he is highly athletic like he’s got I feel like he’s going to check off a lot of those off I boxes that maybe we don’t Place enough EMP into and they already drafted a forward earlier and I don’t just something about Dominic badinka didn’t fit here right so you know EJ Emory yeah all right EJ Emory it is there you go the big boy goes to Calgary all right the Dallas Stars um for me this one was pretty easy I’m sending alons Frey to Dallas I think it makes so much sense uh he is I mean I’ve seen some people compare him to Nils list but I think NS list just looks really good for the Dallas Stars uh I think he would just do excellent there um I don’t know much what what else I need to say they seem to love drafting skilled players they did draft a beefy defenseman and Leon dixel not too long ago they’re not afraid of drafting Europeans at all oh man and I think Frey could be a huge huge offensive asset for them if it were up to me he’d be gone by now uh um but he he hasn’t and I don’t think he I think he could be available here um so yeah I think the Dallas Stars if I’m the Dall Stars I really considering who’s on the board I’m really pounding the table for alons Frey here uh so yeah that’s that’s pretty cut dry cut and dry for me yeah that’s a really really good one um ah there was a player that we talked about recently who we said if the Rangers see him at 30 he they’re taking him but I can’t remember who that player was oh I think I remember who it was is they are they still available J you was it Charlie ell he is one of the people I think we’ve spoken about but wasn’t the one I had in mind ah hold on I need to go look through this very quickly because this is bugging me I’ve been trying to remember who this was for like six picks now and I can’t cuz I don’t think they’re ranked particularly high on my list and I’m going off of my list oh buo ears oh I can’t judge because I took a while with mine but yeah I have a I have a feeling but I’m curious what you think well Harley Alec is kind of part of the name that’s coming up to mind Emil Heming is another one Jesse pinan is a fun one that would be absolutely hilarious Dean Loro uh just for the record they’ve drafted six Americans in the last two drafts uh two Canadians a Russian a Slovak and a Swede yeah they lean American pretty heavily they drafted three four Canadians the year before they they’ve drafted kind of a lot of North Americans if that helps yeah you know what ah yeah yeah this is a tricky one this is one that like because I’m very I’m trying to remember who this very specific player was because it was such a perfect fit and now I’m scrolling through my entire list and I don’t see them so either I am blanked entirely or ah why you just give it to him well we can’t sit here I thought it would I thought it would be Dean Loro okay that got got so they I mean they played a line of dudes that are six six plus why not another tno kind of might actually be the guy I think I’m going to go Dean Loro it was between him and Alec at the end there and I feel like I’m going to lean Loro all right Dean Loro to the to the New York Rangers um yeah yeah I mean the other one I thought would be Charlie ellic uh but I mean I don’t know I I I don’t think it’ll be Loro literally but boy it’s they seem to love that like look at Matthew rempe you know yeah not that Dean Lono is Matthew rampe but they have that they have just a stable of guys who are gigantic they seem to want to play Heavy hockey and maybe they can get that at a lero maybe uh Anaheim Ducks from the Edmonton Oilers I’m I mean I’m assuming the Oilers are losing uh how dare you I know but you know said how dare you now that I said that they’re gonna they’re going to win the whole thing for sure but uh the Ducks I was going to take Lono um but to me that would be two that would be two forwards in the first round which generally does not happen um so I’m going to go Charlie ell I’m gonna take the guy you wanted uh to New York I think yeah as much as I’m not a huge Charlie ellic fan I think he is what the Ducks kind of look for in defenseman um you know if I’m a super super cynical person does he play more minutes than ol and zwagger in two years who knows I don’t think so in reality three years from now but no but Charlie ellic I think fits what the Ducks want down the lineup uh and he’s a big physical meanie pants and they’ve already got sort of their higher skill higher upside guy so why not go get typical Charlie ell dudes so let’s do it uh Charlie ell and the last pick belongs to Mr mcgillicuty Philadelphia Flyers from the Florida Panthers assuming that they are the Stanley Cup champions of the Season Take it Away close us out m h h well we got ourselves some interesting options here uh there are lots of players coming into mind and very few of them feel like the right answer a gut instinct and I I’m not picking it and I know it won’t happen but this would just be an awesome time to hear John mustard oh my God and it would be fun but I don’t think so I feel like we let lenus Ericson slip out of the first round when he probably isn’t going to uh but I don’t think it would be Philly who takes them kind of think I’m gonna mock Dominic badinka to Philly interesting choice think that’s the guy to be honest I don’t think B I think badinka is going to be a first round pick he I would be pleasantly surprised I would be pleasantly surprised I’ll say that yeah I think I don’t want to go to like this team usually drafts like this stereotypical like everybody and like I think badinka is a talented player who will maybe slip a bit further than some teams will think and when they see him they’ll be like oh well all righty then and take the guy who’s already like a pro projectable defenseman who has like modern top four game in him all right so just to recap before we recap the first round one thing I did want to point out too if you’re looking for a real real real real real Dark Horse where on draft day you’re like who in the hell is this guy the New York Rangers drafted this guy’s brother last year so they’ll have a bit an inside track on this player but Tanner Henri is a 6’3 right-hand shot defenseman playing for the Lincoln Stars he is a very good skater the rest is a big work in progress he was a point of game player in 16 U triaa last year did not score very much this year but there’s a family connection there and the the Rangers do not draft again until the fourth round and maybe henrix is available there but that’s one where if they want to get their guy they have don’t want to wait they might do it there because I feel like there are teams out there that look at a 6′ three rightand shot really good skating and raw defenseman and maybe in the second round they look and go you know what maybe in 10 years this guy is going to be really something maybe five ten years from now this guy’s gonna be a heck of a player so that’s a that’s a shot in the dark out of nowhere pick but guys like him generally sometimes go higher than you would expect uh but I just wanted to throw that out there because I just picked up on that while while flipping through some Rangers picks recently but anyway uh let’s uh let’s go through our first round of the of the draft and then we’ll go through some of the maybe the uh first uh first couple of guys that could be off the board in the second round in this hypothetical scenario Jessie pulin yeah Jessie pinin uh mlin Cabrini went to San Jose uh RTM levanov went to Chicago Kaden Lindstrom to Anaheim uh salv to Columbus demidov to Montreal TJ ginla to Utah Dickinson to Ottawa boam to Seattle Berkeley katton to Calgary Michael brunck new guard to New Jersey Carter yaken Chuck Buffalo Cole Eisman Florida Philadelphia I should say cona helenius to Minnesota Zane perk to San Jose Michael ha to Detroit uh styan soberg to the St Louis Blues jet luchenko to the Washington Capitals Becka Sena to Chicago the Adam jerich then went to Vegas Co Bo dwan to the New York Islanders Liam Green Tree to La Trevor Connelly went to Nashville Tanner how went to Toronto sto B went to Colorado Maxim massay went to Ottawa Teddy Stiga went to Montreal eigor chernishov Carolina we sent EJ Emory to Calgary alons fry to Dallas Dean Loro to New York Charlie ell to Anaheim and Dominic badinka to Philadelphia so just in case you’re a team that has multiple first round picks San Jose landed celebrini and uh perk that would not be so bad Chicago landed levanov and Sena Philadelphia landed uh iserman and binka and I believe that is all of them yes that’s all of them that’s it sweet there you go there’s your first round aramov was the two oh yeah Ottawa yeah sorry Ottawa has Dickinson and Massi okay there so did you miss one in that because what I did the whole figure I got to 31 and thought I messed up oh I don’t know I I miss Ottawa I missed Ottawa as a team with multiple picks so left over on day two would be ardam manov I could see that easily happening yeah Andre Bas I could see happening I think that’s gonna happen uh EML Heming um I I don’t think that’s going to happen it can happen it’s one of those ones but it seems like depending on who you ask he could be a top 25 pick or he could be a top 50 I don’t really know um I’m a little cooler on him now but I still like him like as a late first round pick I could see it I for me it was the Islanders was the team I thought might be a team that goes for him and I could see that making sense they drafted a couple of their guys previously um Ryder Richie went undrafted so far Terk Paris sack I could see that happening yeah uh Richie I think might maybe creeps into the first round um Aaron kii Haru went not in the first round I think that’s going to happen yep uh jagor Surin Merck vaner Leo Seline Banus is one we didn’t consider yeah good reason but but I think he could like is he gonna go before Dominic badinka in reality I could easily see him go before badinka but I think if on Philadelphia they drafted pretty well last year I think that they might see things similar and go with a badinka over a Seline Banus but you never know maybe they really liked him at the u8s who knows but it’s an interesting an interesting group um did it I mean were you particularly surprised with any of of my selections because I was pretty taken when you threw out a couple there but yeah I wanted to mix it up and not go for the stereotypical like this team usually drafts like this with every type of pick because I find every draft ends and then I go wow I was wrong about seven or eight of these teams pretty clearly um I the biggest one that kind of stood out is I don’t think Carter yakam Chuck goes to Buffalo okay that’s the one that when like just the way they have been drafting even if they do go defenseman I see them grabbing like the value guy in Adam Urich falling or right something of that nature I don’t think they particularly draft defenseman if there’s not one like screaming out in terms of value so maybe they go forward I will say your Michael ha to Detroit pick was like flawless I was thinking my head head I was like that would be a sneaky pick and then you said it and I was like [ __ ] good job um language Samuel sorry a shoot um Ian demidov to Montreal was uh a huge win thank you for that yeah I mean Montreal if this is what Montreal ends up with I will be very happy if I’m a Habs fan ah I hope to be can’t wait to now have my expectations crushed and my soul ruined um Tanner how to Toronto was took a lot of you know self mutilation so respect to that hez not a Tanner how fan eh I no actually I like Tanner how I hope that doesn’t come across as some like an anti- Tanner how thing it’s just like I know personally like seeing Teddy sta there and a couple other names that that you were not running to go Tanner how but you were looking for the accurate take Toronto’s a very difficult team to try and get in the head of like he feels like the right type of player but there could be different like Sam O’Reilly was the other one like honestly as soon as you said Sam O’Reilly I was like wow that really does seem like a Toronto pick uh I think jet Leno would be the guy they pay take if he’s there personally J Len screams like just screams it but I don’t think he’s going to get there honestly I I when you took lenko I was like all right yeah this honestly I think this is gonna happen too yeah okay well I hope that was fun for all of you um we can catch up on some questions if there are any from the show which I believe there are there a few not a ton yeah not a ton we got also a question uh from someone who might also be in the chat but I’m not sure it was on Twitter um wondering if they have any info on Alexi donov a CSK Moscow Junior player um I’ve seen donov a bunch I watched him a bunch in September October I just think he’s too slow not a great skater really like he’s got some good edges but he doesn’t really go plac as quickly enough to really make me think that he’s an NHL Prospect especially at 5 foot eight like it’s just not to me it’s not enough and not a guy that I’ve really loved a whole lot of um someone then asked uh why are they called Ben Folds Five when they only have three members um I actually I thought that the answer was just because so I Googled it and the answer in reality is just because uh there are three members but they thought that Ben Folds 5 sounded better than Ben Folds 3 which is very true so makes sense to me and that was probably a smart call considering where they are uh in in their career now um all right let’s scroll back I think that’s all that we got from Twitter just those two so thank you very much for those um will you do Recaps for each team this year yes that’s the plan oh yeah sorry AJ I sorry you already Rec responded to that but yes the answer to that is we are going to be doing that so as soon as the draft is over once I’m home from Vegas we’ll get to work on those um someone saying that Kent Hughes would never draft demidov he passed on mitov I mean I don’t know for what it’s worth the rumors around this is that Kent Hugh and Gorton were both on board with mitkov and it was The Scouting staff particularly Bob RV who was leaning towards Ryan Bacher and they lean to the expertise of their scouting staff if this is something that the organization may not be I’m not saying that they’re not happy with the decision they made but this doesn’t mean that they’re bound to do it again especially if they get a second chance to draft an offensive guy like this and the GM and the president were both on board the first time and they were no we’re going to go with them even if they’re happy with with Ry barer and they would still do it again that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll look at demidov in the rest of the draft which there isn’t a whole lot of Montreal Canadian style players left outside of like a ginla and not make the pick but I also have pure cope so like right uh Sam we got a question from Dylan Griffin friend of the show crap uh asking where you got the shirt the toilet store uh excuse me I’ll have you know that Amazon warehouse probably was the toilet store that is a very good point take that Dylan very good point yeah you want that shirt might have honestly come from the same place toilets come from who knows that’s amazing love the Anchor Man reference I think that’s what that is it is yes it is um someone said that the Utah team does need defensemen I mean I think that’s partially true but they have drafted a lot of defensemen lately uh Laro archam Duda I think they think highly of him Giannis Moser is in the NHL already um your boy Dimitri simv Dimitri simachev like I could see them going for a defenseman here like who were the defenseman on the board at the time for us Dickinson uh boam I don’t think they do either of those maybe Dickinson yakimchuk maybe I don’t think so um soberg I mean if they take soberg at six I will you will if you if you if they take soberg at six in Vegas you will hear my voice screaming from the top deck of the because I it’s not because I don’t think it would be like a bad pick but it would be like an adventure in fantasy Dreamland where I’m like okay you know what they’re chasing a thing I respect it you know like they want the biggest meanest just peskiest team around that helps them get there all right I get it whatever take your guy um but I mean I don’t know I think they could go in a variety of different directions and I think ainla gives them an an area that a thing that they don’t really have a whole lot of so makes sense I second it too like I just think ainla is a great Prospect for a lot of teams in the middle of a rebuild because of the versatility if you don’t think you can get the slam dunk core piece the next thing you’re looking for is the guy who supports the core pieces as best as possible against is in that line where it’s not impossible that he continues to take off and actually becomes like a core piece player but it’s also very likely he just becomes that really good secondary guy on a second line like this guy who just moves through at the top six to really get the energy flowing in a line like he plays off of Star players or at least you can project him playing off of Star players well due to his board play as shot as off Puck play he’s really good with those short passes he just he’s not like your St stereotypical like deceptive you know in motion dangle through everybody and like solve the problem type of player but he’s just so good at everything else like I I 100% see a team like Utah taking them I don’t really see him slipping past like seven or eight not with that not with that last name like that that’s gonna be what the Difference Maker people keep sending him to Calgary I don’t think he’s gonna make it there I don’t think he makes it to Calgary I don’t think he makes it to Calgary I think someone’s going to pick him like he just plays such a way that you want and you can’t have too much of I don’t know how much upside he has I think he’s a really good player and I think he’s be he’s going to be a great competitor but I don’t think he makes it all the way to nine I just don’t I don’t know maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think so uh someone mentioned oh helenius reminds me of table Terin yeah I could see that as well I don’t know if he’s as skilled but kind of an echo there um what do we got what do we got we could David Phillips out here throwing out d+1 Russian Junior gold tender Nikolai nin who I actually watched last night he was kind of fun but uh yeah no David go away um but don’t really for for real um make up your mind will go away but don’t actually go away um someone said I’m sorry did you say you’ve read The Scouting blackbook I have I I flipped through it uh I didn’t go through all of it obviously it’s a quadrillion pages long but I did I mean most of the value I get out of it is I love reading the actual quotes that they get from NHL people um because I think it gives you a pretty good insight into kind of what’s actually going on there and I find it quite validating a lot of the time honestly which feels pretty good um maybe that I mean based on your opinion of NHL people that might be a bad thing uh but it does feel pretty good to read some of that stuff and go you know what I’ve been thinking of that kind of thing for a while and I don’t really see what are talking about it but or the other way around right like it’s kind of fun so yeah uh yeah there’s a lot of just play bypl here play bypl play bypl yeah we didn’t get a whole lot of questions I was looking over yeah basa didn’t go in the first round someone mentioned basa a few times I just don’t I I mean I could see it right but it’s like the small skill Wingers don’t go in the first round they usually go in the early second like a jagger ferus was a day two pick you know like you and I probably would have taken Jagger ferus night one um but yeah generally those types of players in the late first round like if if they’re portrayed as top six or bust which in my opinion is basa then generally teams don’t really want to take that risk with their first round pick I generally philosophically Tech technically speaking we wouldn’t have taken Jagger ferus first because we would have taken Brad Lambert yes that is a very good point yes because that’s every time I ever think back to the 2022 draft all I think about is I wouldn’t have done that because I would have taken Brad Lambert every doesn’t matter what the pick is until we get to 30 that’s my answer to everything I remember being in the stands in in that for that and just being like it’s got like at like overall it started where I’m like it’s got to be Lambert like it’s got to be Lambert it’s not Lambert it’s got like I being on the draft floor in Montreal and going around and listening to everybody like reacting to the picks like a that was a great pick and all I could think about past like 10 although I was already thinking I’m like Brad Lambert Brad Lambert Brad Lam oh Noah Olen that’s cool Brad lamber Brad L Brad lber Brad lber like what is going on and then I started getting heavy impostor syndrome I was like maybe I just know what I’m doing then but he’s been a monster since so maybe don’t let him fall to yeah I remember watching that draft that side track aside thinking about it too and just back to the stre please Leafs take them take them please and they didn’t yeah yeah um all right so Ricky asked if they have any thought if we have thoughts about archam sco nikov uh scov sorry I’ve been trying to get that name right whatever undersized skate boy defenseman uh for tractor cheliabinsk um I watched him a lot more in the early parts of the year than the later ones uh a guy whose defensive game really I think needs a lot of work but he’s a very good skater I think he’s got some good skill as well I could see him being a late round flyer you know you can leave him in Russia for a few years and who knows what he is in six years I don’t know but uh maybe a guy I would draft late um yeah someone mentioned Heming and B for the Isles Kings for B yeah makes sense uh throwing someone throwing mat gden out there a lot um uh oh someone talking about the Kings picks um who would you compare green tree and jir to in the NHL it’s a very good question Green Tree You’ said Matt n in the past I feel like is the only thing that works because no one else moves with his feet right like he’s a tricky player to he’s a tricky player man I don’t yeah n comes to mind he’s that type of a dude I don’t know if he’s as like mobile or or like n has really come ways with his skating um so maybe there’s something to that um oh NOP whoopsie uh I’m trying to think of jerich though like really mobile solid defensive defenseman that has some offense to him um maybe it’s the cup run and I don’t even I know if I sat there thought harder about this but for there’s little bits where I’m like Gustaf forsling but I don’t think that’s the best comparable no cuz there’s more to Year’s game with the puck yeah like a slaven like a Jacob slaven type guy eckholm like I don’t I think I don’t know those guys are defensive like lockdown artists where it’s I mean Jacob slaven had 37 points this year and no I don’t mean like 45 I don’t mean removing their I mean like they are defensive studs where EUR hasn’t fully got made me go I could see e becoming somebody like that so I guess yeah I get where you’re coming from something in that range maybe I don’t know [Music] um I see a lot of people were uh confused about Tanner how but boy it’s the Toronto M police never ever ever think you know what the Toronto M police are going to do um except for 2020 where they took a Mir of we all saw that coming at least you and I yes that’s true yeah yeah we did um Brian and Brian Stewart is mad I didn’t send SGA to Toronto I mean I’m sorry Brian but I mean I would love for it to happen but it’s not I don’t know if it’s GNA um who knows if it does hooray I would I would push for it but uh trying to put my hat on if Tanner how is a nerd if Tanner how has a Dungeons and Dragons group all bets are off 100% um what it means he can he can create situations in their head uh and Toronto Toronto loves their guys who can who can do analysis work so yeah anyway spoken yeah um but I don’t know if he has a d andd group to be perfectly honest uh John asked uh would anyone take Montreal’s two picks next year to move way up in the draft I wouldn’t trade the picks of a Montreal no way um I like next year’s draft more than what I’ve seen this year uh and that’s me saying that with the benefit of what I remember of this year’s draft class last year um I wasn’t I wasn’t super excited about this group going into the year I don’t think you were Sam either no I wasn’t they seemed fine they seemed they were like a fun nice change of pace given that’s what happens every single time you swap drafts at this point in time but yeah I wasn’t like I think 2025 is looking really good I agree with this 25’s got more stuff 25 is going to be the return of Sweden yes 202 Swedish crop is insane yeah I actually have my tracker for next year already built with names down that I want to look at because that’s who I that’s how I do so I’ll pull that up in a minute but yeah next year next year you probably you don’t you don’t don’t if you’re especially if you’re not a team that’s in contention area like Montreal isn’t don’t trade your picks down the road don’t don’t screw don’t tempt fate it doesn’t usually work out in your favor right like I feel like Montreal is still has you could correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like Montreal still has a bit of a ways to go uh you know I mean I hope they’re better next season but in terms of having the Comfort to trade their next year next picks and stuff I don’t think they’re there yet um especially to move up in this year’s draft uh who were your top prospects left for round two well we kind of went through that already that’s not a knife now this that’s not a knife this is why didn’t Herman truff go top 15 in your mock draft because he doesn’t pass the puck [Music] um that’s a joke by the way I mean I love we love Herman trough here we love Herman truff um he might be a late first I don’t think so I don’t think he will Jord um what are you doing uh what is your opinion what is your opinion on M giden uh again the blackbook summarized it perfectly um a guy who really comes and goes if the puck is on his stick he can take off and make a heck of a play but most of the time when I watch Matt B grien I’m going where is he and he’s usually hanging around at the blue line waiting for play to come to him and a few steps he makes some separation he’s kind of like discount Beck at senica that’s kind of where I am with him you know like a a less projectable version of a super highly skilled Winger with some size and uh some good finishing ability but you kind of want more of him uh at both ends or at least defensively uh what do you think sev’s timeline is for Utah um well Dimitri simachev I mean according to uh Elite prospects his contract runs until I believe 2026 oh so at the end of next season generally Russians don’t come over unless there is a uh unless there is a job for them in the NHL but I think for for Utah that could happen after next season I think 25 26 that entir yeah I think it’s entirely six right like they have confidence in him and we’ve seen him play KHL like we know this guy’s gonna suffocate NHL like he’s gonna come over and people are gonna be like okay that was a mar cider pick because when he starts suffocating players along the boards with his reach and his just incredible Mobility people are going to be like yo yeah and he’s still only only 200 pounds at 6’5 200 that’s about equivalent to like 170 pounds at six feet like he’s he could he could come over at like 225 and I mean if he’s still I I still want him to be a great skater that’s his game that’s the game so don’t don’t lose that but if he doesn’t and he comes over and he’s that like 220 225 defenseman oh man after this season I think it’s entirely possible uh do you think Jagger can come in and help the pens next year no I don’t think so uh the league is skewing younger and the pens need offense I think Jagger is a guy you need in the AHL first I don’t think I would shove Jagger in the NHL after one year at all um he had a good year a really good year but I still think I’d leave him to develop more and and really sort of be like one of the best players in the WHL next year and then see what he is next year in Camp and go from there personally uh uh who did the Caps end up taking I senteno to him [Music] umnikov is not pronounced like that thumbs down I think I did better but David Phillips also knows a bit of Russian I believe so he’ll correct me privately probably well I think the problem is you keep saying scooch nikov and there’s no K in there shov I imagine that’s got be better but there’s in there s h c hu c i n o he’s the chuchi train that’s that’s how I’m gonna respond that’s how he is from that’s what he is now the chuchi train uh so there we go um thoughts on Alexander pikov uh that’s a name I remember I think that’s for next season um yeah this guy yeah I think I I remember this guy he’s pretty good I like persikov he’s a October 06 for next year um he’s on my short list so yeah I’ll get a look at him next year for sure oh will you missed a question an important one what what what teams do you guys root for Sam I’m gonna pull a Jeff Merck I’m pulling a Jeff Merrick uh I’m gonna say especially now that I’ve been doing draft stuff since about 2017 18 I dra I I I follow the players I love I follow the players I love uh and no matter where they go I try to pay as much attention as I can um and and root for those guys I mean I’m from Toronto you can put two and two together but Sam take it away this is the awkward part where I have to say that I can’t hear AJ Rec I don’t know said someone asked someone asked what team someone asked what team we cheer for uh each of us on the on the Stream So I yeah I gave my long win today answer oh Montreal like yeah yeah Montreal always has been like that carrye price heart trophy season forever engraved in my brain both uh Conference Final runs 2010 and 2014 2020 cup run screw you my team has success that the Leafs don’t have and uh go Lea go all the way yeah so yeah and AJ’s probably fing and I can’t right well he’s the he’s the he’s the leaf guy so there we go that’s that’s obvious um Leaf guy I know you are shush you are though you just hide it well why you don’t have to tell everybody uh no but no but I’m serious like the players that are you know whatever um that’s just cool because you’ve been hurt too many times but it’s okay what are you talking about no I know nothing has phased me nothing phases me you know that I’m not surprised at all it’s like uh it’s like watching someone go insane because I’m literally the only person out of everyone in the Stream the viewers yourself AJ the only one who doesn’t hear AJ this is like a ghost conversation Sam Sam tell everyone you can’t can’t hear AJ five more times and then we’ll call it a day on the show uh anyway um someone is saying that Ken Hughes knows Teddy stego well and has Boston College contact so sta probably goes to the Habs I could see that oh please for the love of God Sam Sam mcgilligan popped into the chat and asked what we think of Luke osbor so Sam Sam I think that’s a fantastic question I think that’s a great question what a smart person did Sam Actually what do I think of Luke osbor I think that that is the type of PR that I personally would be super comfortable taking a reach on and going like I think you’ve got a lot of the right stuff I think you play the game exactly how I for how I want a top four defenseman to play it he’s got range he’s got skill he’s got deception he’s got Vision he can skate really well he’s catching and playing in motion all the time he’s always trying to up the pace but he could he’s got a delay game up in there he’s got really good habits in terms of activating he’s gotten tremendous progress defensively he had a fantastic developmental year in the USHL I think that guy has fallen under the radar because he doesn’t put up points but I think everything he does on the hockey side of the ice is someone that I would be very interested in working with I think if I was to have a conversation with the kid that I would C him away like yeah this guy’s gota just head on the right place because you have to to do everything he’s done the last year since I’ve first seen him you have to have your head on to the right place it’s just too much progression yeah Sam that was a great question thanks for asking bring that bud great question yeah A+ gold star for the night uh who is the play oh that was you oh okay um who’s the playmaker in the draft that nobody talks about I’ve been thinking about this for the last 48 seconds um are you gonna say hours no my first instinct it depends on what you mean my nobody’s talking about nobody talks about Andrew basa much and I think he’s an excellent playmaker uh the other one that popped into my head was oh my goodness uh Luke Misa that’s the other one that popped into my head but Sam what are your thoughts well you took Luke Misa I’m gonna say just because people aren’t talking about him I like Nikita aranov like I think he’s a great playmaker I don’t think he makes plays in the in like the way you typically Envision it in the in the sense of like you’re just carving through Defenders and you know setting up and creating Lanes but I think artamonov just plays with such a fantastic sense that he’s always in the right spot to get the puck and he’s we already set up and made a lot of the difficulty creating Lanes kind of just of the way he reads the game off Puck so much if it’s done before he even gets the puck on his stick and then it’s bada boom bada bing he’s just connecting plays everywhere that is by definition a playmaker it’s true it’s true fair enough uh someone said that I love Doug Gilmore and I do I do love Doug Gilmore like I Ruled uh what are your current goenda oh trying to this is David Phillips trying to copy my work uh um but we all been there I did that at one point yeah for sure I’ve got 14 goalies ranked um but I won’t go through all of them because I’m not sure all of them are any good you know again this is something where I’m not an expert uh I’m learnning so to use a Ricky from Trailer Park Boys phrase perhaps uh but I really like EML Vinnie uh really like Evan Gardner really like male yogorov uh those are the three that I’ve really really liked um then Carter George Ryon leers Pavo moich Ivan yunan those are the next four I’d say that are in a group and then the rest are all just kind of flyers for me Teddy mther in Sweden Carill zarubin and Nikolai nlon as David pointed out earlier Dawson Cowen out west ke Keegan Warren cam Hendrickson the I I saw cam War Hendrickson at the uh cam Hendrickson at the high school tournament in Minnesota and I thought he was really really good and then played really well with Omaha uh and my last goalie on the list is Alexander Roto uh who plays for uh ska St petersburg’s like worst junior teams and faces 40 shots a night and saves 92% of them um and uh he’s faced a really really heavy workload and uh I I respect that so he’s a guy that I threw on at the end there so um oh sorry learnding was a Ralph wigam joke I’m sorry I keep mixing up my I keep messing up my idiots uh yeah come on man bch makes Principal Skinner hi Super Nintendo chers there it is Lear I’m Lear I’m learning uh thoughts on Colin Ralph I actually asked someone about Colin Ralph the other day because I was watching him I saw both USHL games he played at the end of the year big decent skater but I think there’s a project guy there I just I I don’t know uh again Prep School guys you got to be mind-bogglingly good for it to move my my needle and for me Colin Ralph I think is just kind of fine like a mid round maybe turns into something guy skates pretty well but pretty unrefined I don’t know Sam if you’ve seen much of Colin Ralph but I haven’t seen a whole lot and not enough to add pretty much beyond what I’ve just said yeah fair enough um I believe that’s everything unless I’ve missed something sir I’m not seeing anything I think so I’ve just went through the whole thing David Phillips wants me to watch ilen iakov I have watched ilen iakov and I I don’t know he didn’t really stick out he didn’t stick out to me as much as the other know he’s also like 47 years old so who knows uh oh Joel Henderson sorry last question of the Night comes from friend of the show Joel Henderson this another that came in before actual last question of the night about the Joel Henderson because I don’t think Joel Henderson is last question of the night worthy yes it is but anyway someone asked are the injury concerns regarding Lindstrom overblown a herniated disc is not good I I I get the feeling that a herniated disc at 18 years old and you’re back is not a good thing that’s I would I would need to do some serious homework if I’m using a top five pick on him I picked him at three to Anaheim Assuming he’s gonna be fine but disc herniations are bad and they can be recurring um and they’re really annoying and you need your back to play hockey I don’t know if you know that but if you have a bad back hockey is really hard um I don’t know but that that’s where it makes sense to me that’s what makes sense to me um anyway yeah so who’s your favorite sjl player for this draft and do you think they’ll go in the first round thank you very much and then we’ll call it a night for the night but uh I mean Matthew van blol you know he’s there he exists he might get drafted but uh I don’t know I’m trying to kill time until I find the goofiest name out of That League um there’s a guy named Jerome Maharaj in that League that’s pretty wild uh um Jay zawatski no I don’t I don’t know anyway we’re just we’re losing our oh there’s a okay here’s one the Flyn fla bombers goenda laser Hume uh 930 save percentage this year he is born in the year 2003 so he’s NHL ready um headed to Mount Royal University next year gonna have a breakout year for sure so Joel there there it is um that’s Joel’s guy famously it is on that note uh I also should take care of my voice so we’re going to end a little bit early tonight uh thank you very much it’s very lovely to be back on camera Sam thank you for joining me um AJ uh I know Sam can’t hear you hey AJ I can’t hear you yeah I know thank you but but thank you for uh for for running the show again this was a lot of fun um before we go I’ll do our ad read and then we’ll call it a night so you can help us by going to Fanatics you can use our affiliate Link in the description or scan the QR code to to provide a small Kickback to the show uh you can also go to Puck preps hockey for all your NCA nchl Prospect needs you can also go to fractal hockey consulting which is by business for hand track targeted player analysis and recruitment packages for the NCAA Europe and Beyond with solutions for any of your organizations’s needs and of course scouching doca to get exclusive access to Innovative data tools with insights into NHL draft prospects and players making their way to the NHL on that note on that note before we go one last thing Friday night assuming there’s no NHL game Friday night which I mean every three nights is crazy Friday night uh we’re going to start the stream at 7 pm but 8:00 pm we’re doing the community Mock Draft so if you want to participate subscribe to the website because they get first dibs registration opened today we’re going to open it to the public in a couple of days you’ll get notice of that on Twitter um but if you’re not familiar with what that is everybody gets three picks we do three rounds we’re doing it NFL style because it was chaos the last few times we did it so we’re going to do it one pick at a time they get submitted to me and then I’ll read them on camera uh but yeah Friday night 7.m scouching Community mock draft be there or be square it’s always a lot of fun um I’m not sure I don’t think I’m missing anything else uh there is one last thing tomorrow we may have oh yes a stream we may have a guest coming on yes because we missed Monday’s last Monday’s stream yes and this person was originally scheduled to be on for then so we may have a special guest tomorrow I was having I was having my health issues last week now this person is having health issues this week so we’re going to try to try to make it work tomorrow if not we’ll figure it out but it may come quick so stay tuned almost a full week scouching streams guys yeah we got a ton going on this week so uh we’re gonna have some fun and then Monday night next week Sam and I reveal our rankings and then publish them uh so that’s going to be a hoot to mine are finalized I don’t know about you Sam mine’s 99% final I I made a choice that I stand by and I have a gut feeling I think you made the same Choice I’m not gonna say what it is we’ll just bring this back up next week all right we’ll bring it up on Monday night yeah I think both of us might have just trusted our gut with something and I have a feeling it’s going to be the same thing yep someone asked if it was Joe Biden uh he’s on my watch list I have seventh cuz cuz he’s probably cuz I am probably on one of his watch lists for one reason or another so I just return favor all right everybody thank you very much for joining us this was a lot of fun and we’ll maybe see you tomorrow but if not later in the week so oir and uh be well it’s coming Rome baby good night [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]

  1. I would like Hage to be the pick for Detroit at 15. Agree with his overall offensive play and skill set makes him well rounded (can set up and finish). Would be going to a good college program at Michigan too. He seems engaged and trying to get involved defensively. Think coaching can help improve his defensive game. He is a RH shot too which we don’t have tons of (getting better there but we used to have a team of mostly LH shots for a long time). Getting Hage in the draft and trading for Necas would be perfect. Can hope.

Cheers, folks. Keep up the good work.

  2. Toronto will probably pick Solberg if he’s still there, they met with him and he seems like a Treliving type player so fingers crossed!

  3. If Demidov is there, Waddell isn’t going to pass. He drafted Kovalchuk and Svechnikov to build around in Atlanta and Carolina.

  4. I click like on every video you guys make and try to comment as much as possible because I want your channel to succeed, I think you generally do a great job of analyzing players and finding some hidden gems but this was really disappointing. The arrogance on display, seemingly saying that teams will pick Player X over my preferred Player Y because teams are stupid is insufferable. Statements like Levshunov is lighting money on fire and sorry Colombus, you're getting Silayev are utterly obnoxious. You have NO IDEA if these players will pan out or not. I can tell because leagues spend tens of millions of dollars on scouting and they don't know either. I'm sure Sam isn't arrogant, but he really came off that way through as much of the video as I watched before tapping out.

The Scouching brand is reasonable takes with thoughtful explanations, this was Skip Bayless-style hyperbole and I had to stop watching.
