What do you wear to a PGA tour event? What should you bring to a PGA tour event? Check out my video to get you answers!
I looked online before I went to a PGA tour event as a spectator, and I couldn’t really find anything. So I made this video to help you out. Generally people want to know what they can wear, and honestly, golf apparel is probably best. I don’t think they had a strict dress policy at Pebble Beach for the US Open, as I saw a lot of people in jeans and a t-shirt, but you’ll always be safe in golf apparel.
I would suggest bringing a light rain/wind jacket, a small bag (fanny pack), and all the goods you need in the small bag, such as sunscreen, phone battery charger, phone charging cord, sunglasses, and whatever else you need.
There is definitely a list of things NOT to bring to a PGA tour event. Some of the big items not to bring to a PGA tour event would include: lawn chairs with armrests, walkie talkies, step ladders, backpacks, and large electronics.
Keep in mind that you will most likely not be able to quickly go back to your car when at a PGA tour event, so make sure your prepared in dress, and with whatever items you need to get you through the day. They do usually have shops on site, as well as food and water stations.
