hello everyone my name’s Arlo white and welcome to highlights of a particularly entertaining opening day of live golf Houston in scorching hot temperatures in the Lone Star State our first visit to Texas Richard Bland the newly crowned Senior PGA Champion had the honor of teeing off at the first this was for birdie at 16 but a two over par 74 for i b today his score didn’t count for the clicks who had an excellent opening day Patrick Reed on home turf here in Houston a promising opening round of 67 five under par as he seeks his first live golf league title that was so close his second shot at the second which led to one of six birdies in his round Kevin Nar is in terrific form it was a 66 six under par for the Iron Head Skipper today that was for birdie at four Adrien morang the reigning DP World Tour player of the year a quite brilliant 65 to hold a share of the lead on seven under par he teed off at 16 that was for his birdie at two and this was for birdie at 11 so he’s seven under and so too is his captain Marty kimer who also card at a 65 he teed off at 14 this was for birdie at 16 and then his second shot at the first which would lead to one of his seven birdies and the clicks as a team seeking a first team title in the live golf league and they lead overnight by three shots arguably the star of the day though 20-year-old Caleb Surat in his first season as a professional teed off at eight made a birdie he played the back nine in 31 that was his second got a 10 and this was for birdie at 17 so it’s a three-way tie on seven under the par Caleb Sarat one of those three and the clicks lead the team competition by three shots [Music]
