What’s in the Bag?! It’s been a while since we did a WITB and my bag has changed a lot over the last year+. I also go hit every club in the bag to get my stock yardages. Enjoy!

all right folks welcome to the 2024 what’s in the bag I’ve got a very very maybe the most important round of My Life coming up in 7 days at Piner number two where I’m going to do my best to break 90 I love every part of my bag and I’ve meticulously put it together this is my 13th year playing golf you know hopefully we go through the bag you see some things that you can relate to I’m an amateur I’m a four handicap right now which feels lower than it should be especially on the eve of going to Pine her number two but uh without further Ado this is the 2024 edition of what’s in the bag all right so one of my favorite things in the bag is not per se golf equipment I’ve been to the Masters a couple times one of my favorite things I ever got at the Masters as far as merch is I got a wallet and I can’t imagine a better piece of merch to get from a golf tournament specifically the Masters it was an $80 leather wallet I’ll show it to you it’s not really in the bag people commonly have the question of like what should I pick up when I’m on a golf trip like if you’re at a place like the Masters this has got little Augusto logos all over it it says Augusta na on the inside the great thing about this is I think about it whenever I lose money anyway so this year when I went back I decided to get something else from Augusta that I thought would be you know like Evergreen like I could use it all the time so they had these limited edition Oakleys what’s cool about these is they say down here master on them and they’re like you know Oakley has this like very they they it has like grass in the lenses I think that allows you to see grass better so anyway that’s number one now let’s start with the bigger pieces of equipment here the biggest for example 460 CC’s I’ve been playing around the parking lot of drivers over the last few years a lot of you know that I’ve been with a few other driver Brands and I just made the switch to a ping driver scientifically this is the most forgiving driver that’s ever been made I got in the lab started testing it and I went with the g430 LST 9° it’s the same driver that havin plays and we love his smile so why wouldn’t we choose the same driver I’ve got it paired on a brand new shaft to the market here this is a graphite design vf6 xflex T ad Family you may recognize this from Tiger Woods’s own hands I really stand behind this piece of equipment and um I really stand behind as well if you couldn’t tell from the visor on my head next up fivewood I choose a fivewood because a three-wood I think is just a little too similar to the driver right it’s a little bit lower flight and it carries um probably carrying about 265 something like that and it rolls out so so like at that point you’re probably just going to hit a driver or a three iron so I’m thinking of this as like a go for the green and two Club kind of like a eagle this is the eagle maker right here right if it had a name right and again same shaft combo right here this is a three-wood shaft this is a vf7 the driver is a vf6 and as always folks I’ve got the upside down logo uh multi-compound Golf Pride I like black and white I like to keep it simple and if you haven’t noticed up here this green circle that is what connects this club to my nervous system also known as my cell phone and it’s a piece of Aros technology that allows me to see what I’m doing with my clubs the actual yardage that I’m hitting them it’s a great piece of technology we’ll run through it later in this video and irons right folks have you been to Finland probably not I have been and so have these clubs essentially and the reason why that’s all important is because I really like not only the irons the construction I’ve really settled on a great set of clubs here that go all the way from three iron to pitching wedge they’re made by a company called Tacomo whose name you don’t really see on this club face you see a sort of a triangle with a circle inside makes you wonder is this Illuminati it’s probably not though because they’re finish forged in Japan assembled in China and sent straight to your door but I love the three iron the model is the 101 U and U stands for you going to smoke the ball on a short par 4 with this thing it actually stands for utility I feel like I’ve had a lot of good memories with this club no scars you know no red flags and then we’ve got four all the way to pitch I’ll just bring them all out cuz they want a party you know sometimes you can tell your clubs just want to roll together you know look at that it’s like it was planned may I interest you in some irons what I really like about these clubs right is they are minimal and if I may say so myself they look a lot like miras let’s be honest although I’m pretty sure these clubs retail for 600 as opposed to 3,000 and that’s one of the things that I really love about a director consumer company like Tacomo it’s our third year working with them and I’ve settled here on the 301 MBS little God all the way through the bag I used to play a combo set with CBS and MBS but um now I don’t on the shafts we’ve got a KBS tour 120 stiff so this is not a super light shaft this is just a medium weight shaft there are Dynamic gold shafts that go up to 140 G that’s what the tour players are going to have they want the heaviest shaft possible um you know and then there’s the seat taper lights which go down to like 100 something so 120 is kind of mid and uh I like it stepped design kind of classy and last time you saw me with these I had lamin grips which I just simply felt were inferior and I really wanted that cozy feeling you know when you get into your bed and you just did the laundry you made it smells good feels good you’re kind of like that same mindset is what goes into these grips so up top you’ve got a corded grip which is you know tiger for most of his career I think even now to the day he’s been playing a full cord grip that’s kind of the thug life which I don’t live right I live you know Thug up top and then kind of like you know uh conservative on the bottom right and so this is more of just a standard rubber grip and if you think about this right your gloved hand is going to be on the cord and then your slippery sloppy wet non-g gloved hand is down on the bottom and that’s on the sticky side all right so on to the second most exciting part of my golf bag my wedges I’ve been working a lot on 100 yards and in that is where Legends are made and I’m I’m fine with being Legend adjacent so for me the 100 yards and in is what I’m really focused on I have uh three wedges here 50 54 58 and they are broken up into two kind of categories they’re all s159 which is kind of the the most workable wedge that ping produces and I basically have the 58 is an H grind which allows me to open up the face a little more little more Trail relief little more workable around different typ of turf right I’m not cam Smith who shows up with four lob wedges and depending on what the atmospheric conditions uh or the rough or the turf is like he’ll switch out a lob wedge so I just have one and then the 50 and 54 are s grinds so that’s a bit more of a kind of uh a fatter Sole and that allows me to keep the club more um closed sort of at aess and through impact midnight is the Finish as always we don’t need any glare when we are staring down at that critical shot from 90 yards after a great drive or trying to get up and down after a terrible Drive ultimately Midnight’s the way to go I’ve got 120 s’s in these as well upside down golf rides I look forward to pulling these out of the bag they’re so sexy so clean so simple and um I just feel confident with them in my hands okay now what music would sound like weap is being unveiled because that’s the music we should play for what’s about to happen maybe it’s 2001 Space Odyssey right it’s my mes putter made by lab this thing makes me happy one of the reasons why is because I don’t know if you’ve ever like wanted to get on your knees after three putting but emotionally spiritually that’s where I find myself so that would say that the opposite is also true I want to jump after one putting and I do that with the lab putter lie angle balance that’s what it stands for you’ve seen me talk about this all year long and maybe a little bit longer the mesmax is what’s found its way into my bag primarily because it’s mesmerizingly balanced I apologize for that one of the reasons why I like the MZ is because when you compare it to the DF and the df3 which is directed force with a three next to it uh a little bit smaller head uh this for me is kind of like the most versatile right and I like the speed off the face we’ve got some grooves on the edge there a lot of waiting the shaft is Apparently one of the coolest things about it also the most expensive uh there’s a lot of different configurations that you can get your lab putter done you can go anywhere from little baby version to big big big daddy version uh in terms of the paycheck but one of my other favorite things about the putter is this grip which is an interesting talking point in terms of the rules of golf because you see this right we’re set up there straight the wants you to forward press with the grip and this actually was an issue with the USGA right they had a problem with getting this thing approved in the end obviously they did because you see everybody playing this on tour and everybody making putts with it on tour I make some putts with it on the YouTube channel and on my fun rounds and I love talking about it I love playing with it I also love kind of just looking at it you know just look at it whatever makes you happy you know I like making putts caddy talk I saw one of their ads on Instagram and I was like no way that’s a crazy little Rangefinder and I can’t decide which one I like more this one’s kind of cool it’s called The Cube and it’s got this crazy thing where for example if you’re playing cart path only you can hit the ball and then you can hit the flag and it’ll tell you the distance this is cool the coolest thing about all of this equipment is if you want to test it out for free come and see us on the Mad scramble tour we’ll be heading up basically from Minneapolis to Philadelphia and a little bit of moving around in between there 10 stops over the middle of June so please get your tickets here we can’t wait to see you out there we’ll have all of this fun stuff for you to hit on your own have fun and there will be super crazy giveaways excuse me ladies and gentlemen sorry to interrupt the video but I have to divert you from what’s in my bag to what’s in my pocket and what’s in my pocket is actually not this big thing it’s a smaller thing look you’ve heard of Aros Aros is the official game tracker of the PGA Tour it’s got Strokes gained analytics it’s got a beautiful app this is their newest product it’s the link Pro it goes in your pocket and if you know Aros you know that you know it operates on a phone or an Apple Watch or what have you but this link is a more powerful connection device you’re going to get every shot without even thinking about it it’s like playing golf with a ghost that’s keeping track of everything you’re doing but that ghost is also really technically Savvy and they take everything you’ve done and put it into an app on your phone and you can look at it over time and that ghost also knows a ton about Golf and golf swings from millions of people if you want a free l Pro head over to this and sign up it’s super easy we’re going to give away probably more than one of these I think we should give away a lot every every second that this ad goes on you have a better chance of winning a free link Pro I’m a huge fan of the product and you know what when I first got into golf I bought it I loved it and the technology has only gotten better and it’s such a cool place for me to be sitting here now talking about this product that I believed in since the very beginning hit the QR Square take care of yourself take care of your friends take care of your family but take care of your golf game all right so we’re going to go through all the 13 clubs in the bag cuz obviously what the putter we don’t measure that in yards and measure that in inches uh we’re going to go through 58° to 9° that’s what we’re going to do right now we’re going to hit every Club so without further Ado I’m expecting this to be about 90 [Music] yeah man just butter Fades all right now we go on to the toos we’re going to start with the little one remember that movie who knows what that movie come on comment below if you know the movie we start this little [Music] one yep [Music] yep little [Music] left cover that cover [Music] all right and now the moment you’ve all been waiting for the three [Music] iron yeah straight [Music] uh it spun a little bit so 242 is what it says 9° LST this is should be 285 carry that’s like average I’ve seen longer and shorter but what we’re looking for here is like maybe a straight ball or a little bit of a draw [Music] there we go what’s the number oo 289 so close but uh you know with the roll out 301 you know that’s it a lot of my favorite new clubs are in this bag thanks for watching and really thanks for being a part of the golf club thanks to all the partners who make videos like this possible free for you to watch we love doing this stuff we love hosting events come out to the m scramble and of course stay tuned for breaking Pinehurst we have a trailer coming oh God it’s coming right [Music] now okay ladies and gentlemen

  1. Sad to see that the artisan wedges did not make it into the bag! But all in all, what a great looking bag in clubs that you play with

  2. So that's what color polo to wear with that hat. I've tried orange and green and I just feel like a goober with those choices. Also, if you guys ever make a headcover specifically for a mini driver I will be there day one.

  3. I had the RGC headcovers but the ones for the woods/hybrids are way too loose and fell off and I lost them 🙁

  4. I switched to a 5 wood and its a game charger especially off the tee its shorter and i never thought id like a xstiff shaft but its easy to hit feels like a iron i haven't topped one yet with it. Ps I got to hit my buddy new takomo irons he got the game improvement never hit a hallow body iron they are no joke and definitely not a gimmick, being brand loyal to the major brands I'm definitely going to takomo my next set no need to spend 1500 bucks anymore and a half ass fitting .

  5. Nice to see some Pings make it in your bag!! Keep putting out the great content and doing your thing!!!

  6. Would you ever be down to show a WITB over the years of your YouTube golf?
Would be interesting to see how many different companies have paid it into the bag. I mean made it into the bag?

  7. Caddied the pro-am at LIV Miami, didn’t get to meet you officially but as a fellow Takomo user love this!! Currently have the 48° skyforger wedge and love it!
