solid round um you’re currently in contention to be the low Canadian and uh be the riverme Cup winner what’s that mean to you yeah it’s a it’s a huge honor I guess a nice consolation prize um you I was pretty special winning that a few years ago um yeah definitely something to be proud of and uh yeah it’s you know obviously disappointing uh to not win the the big the big trophy but uh yeah it’s it’s a cool honor you had a really nice moment there on 18 where you took the pin out and waved the Canadian flag for the crowd what was the reaction like from your perspective and just how did it feel to have a big response yeah it’s well the the Canadian fans they come out in full support year after year and it’s an incredible feeling being out there getting cheered on by you know yeah all the all the fans and um yeah it was it was special out there and I definitely felt the love and um yeah thought uh thought it was pretty cool you know proud Canadian and um just just wave the flag one more time uh both you and Mac were in contention to win it this year still might be depending on how things pan out um how does it feel to have backtack years where Canadians are right in the mix to the very end to to win the national championship yeah I feel like there’s always somebody who who’s right there with with an outside chance or or a good chance and um it just goes to show um how strong Canadian golf is and I think you see that week in and week out on the the PGA Tour and you know at other big big events just wondering this is going to be your first top 10 of the Season just wondering what you think this is going to do leading into other big events coming up here yeah it’s a a big stretch coming up here and um I wanted to get myself in the mix this week um definitely felt like my game was trending quite positively the last few weeks uh that I played and um you know yeah like like where things are at and I’m continuing to to feel better and better about things so um yeah definitely take lots of Confidence from this week and also just playing so well in such a I mean a huge tournament for all you guys and the crazy atmosphere I mean does that give you confidence aside from your ball strength just know you can handle that yeah I mean I I felt like I hold some some really good putts today and you know definitely you know felt felt some nerves out there but honestly playing in front of this crowd’s incredible and really motivates you to to you know settle in and hit a good shot um but yeah definitely lots of confidence to be taken
