e e e hello and welcome to this uh live coverage of the city golf tour 2024 from haa it’s the second event in the wmf world Adventure Golf Tour 24 4 25 season and we are streaming live from haga for the first time ever in WF World adventure golf tour history during this tournament Players will be competing for both WF world Venture Golf Tour ranking points and City Golf Tour ranking points so there’s a lot on the line and it’s all to play for at the moment our production team just getting the cameras set up and then any minute now we will bring you coverage of this first round of the city golf tour 2024 from haga some well-known players competing this weekend we’ve got members of the Swedish pting team Kevin sunstrom matus haglof Ricard lochner we’ also got Eddie soderland Christ soderland Morgan MTA Hans olison as well as two fin Finnish players Tom olberg and Tommy lanter Tom olberg and Tommy lanter had quite the season so far just finished the WF World Aventure golf tour Final in Bowling berno they played the Moravia Aventure golf Masters the first tournament in this year of the WF World adventure golf tour and now they are here in hagga for the City Golf Tour 2024 haga e as I said to spare with us a few minutes our local production crew are just finishing setting up the multiple cameras on the course and then any any minute now we will be ready to start the city golf tour 2024 from haga it’s the second event in the WF world Adventure Golf Tour 2425 season the winner will win the second automatic qualification into the final joining lucash Cura who won the first during the Moravian Adventure Golf Masters e e e e e e e e e haa of course was the site of the city golf tour final two years ago beautiful course right on the edge of the water classic City Golf style a lot of dishes around the holes on many of the lanes near all of them so players here the best players that we can see on the screen here will be looking for a very low score there is still though the opportunity for some danger out there on the course uh and we’ll be having a look at some interesting Lanes in a short while while we get the set cameras set up we’ve got Ryan and tournament we’ve got some of the very very best adventure golf players from Sweden we’ve got Tom olberg and Tommy lanter two exceptional players from Finland so do expect a big battle for the second automatic qualification into the WF world Adventure Golf Tour final e e e spe see that the first groups have just gone out bringing you coverage from Lane three and four at the moment couple of different ways to play Lane three so there’s two humps up to a hole that’s on a circular Ridge classic City Golf style see there players are allowed 20 cm relief from the bottom of the hill so on Lane three you can either go straight for the hole trying to end up on that Ridge or you can play a back door shot riding the rough so it’ be interesting to see throughout the day what the players favor e Lane four that we can see here typically a back door shot players starting over to the left aiming to just miss the rock we’ll see that in a second oh good a on lane four e e two category here both in contention for WF world Adventure Golf Tour ranking points we’ve got the bread class and the Elite Class so what we’d think of as novices and professionals Lane three now believe that’s Ralph finberg going for the front door shot bit too Pacey for foreign speech e so we’re going to be staying on Lanes three and four for now and shortly when the elite players go out we will be following them around the course not quite the right line there on lane four but it did catch the dish good Ace there Benny clayon normally you want to go a bit more direct to Lane four but it did work for him that’s a dish around the hole there on lane four helping him out good Ace I’m a bit too soft on lane four I think to come back for that dish that be two on lane four so far from the bread group The that’s the novice group best score seems to be two underpath it’s a fairly nice day here at hagger good conditions not too windy fair weather so next up on Lane three going for the back door shot oh it’s too fast it’s out of the lane on Lane three there’s the danger we’ve going for that back door shot if you get the right pace it will come back to the hole nicely but not in this case too fast on Lane three now now a difficult shot to save two what you want to do obviously just trickle it down the hill on the line of the regular back door shot oh dear that’s trouble so this to avoid dropping any more shots this is Angelica EDF felt on Lane three yes so that’ be one shot drop there by Angelica on Lane three if we have a look at what the players are [Music] of the local haa players there per Carlson picking up a two on Lane three finally Jessica rossen we’ve got one more group of novice players in the bread category then we will be following the elite category those are the professional players oh dear Jessica not able to make it over the second Hill going for the front door shot but way too slow now is Jessica in trouble on Lane three Jessica will need this ENT saer too don’t want to drop any shots this early on it’s funny Lane three it does look straightforward but it does kind of force you to play risky shots when you try and Chase the ace that’s what Jessica’s done here and Jessica will be the next person to drop a shot on Lane three yes that’s one drop shot of Jessica on Lane three the final novice group has just started or they finished Lane one so very shortly we will move over to the elite group as I said we will be following one of the elite group around the course for all 18 Lanes oh not quite catching the dish on lane four good attempt oh good Ace there on lane four over now top left on Lane three going for the front door shot what’s the pace like perfect front door shot on Lane three that’ll be an ace fore spee foreign speech speech spe now see that the first players in the elite category just started Yen Bergstrom Alexander princess and O Harland oh another front door eight on Lane three is a bit too P but it was AC on Lane three oh good back door race there on lane four just catching the dish now we’ve got our first elite players now on Lane three this is Yen Bergstrom going for the back door shot oh not pacy enough so small tester there for Yen Bergstrom on Lane three of course for the WF world Adventure Golf Tour both the elite and bred players are competing together either one of them can win the automatic qualification into the final either one of them can win the 500 ranking points for finishing in first Yen Bergstrom now on Lane three trying to save the two and he does good two for ends on Lane three and good back door race there on lane four do expect to see a lot of Aces today this is the kind of course that it is Alexander princess now on Lane three looks like Alexander’s going for the front door and it’s in good Ace from Alexander on Lane three seven rounds will be played over this weekend by both the bread and Elite Class players by both the novices and the professionals Yen Bergstrom now on lane four no not the right line to catch the dish and Alexander princess now on lane four different kind of style there we’ve seen from Alexander going down the left didn’t work out yeah for e oh yes good Ace there on lane four from Marco and spear Lane three now we have this save for a two oh dear well it stayed up but that will be a dropped shot on Lane three beautiful cores see the water in the background players will be enjoying being here I’m sure this is the first WF world Adventure Golf Tour Tournament to be golf ball only oh great Ace on Lane three there Tom olberg there with the ace on Lane three as we watch now Oscar Homeland also on Lane three going for the front door just just with the pace to carry it into the cup great Ace from Oscar on Lane three couple of practice shots there after he played not typically the way that players will do it but it worked for him not quite catching the disc there on lane four tomberg now on lane four coming off of three aces in a row this to make it four aces in a row and he does four aces in a row to start Oscar homeman now on lane four line looks good what’s the pace like that be an ace for Oscar Oscar himself now with four aces in a row great start for the young Oscar believe this is have a look at Lane three believe that’s Peter soderland yeah five sands on the course today at least three of them related this one now Peter sodin drops the shot on Lane three next up P por ker on Lane three going for the front door great line for an ace finally Michael Carlson now on Lane three also going front door it’s pacy it’s too pacy he hasn’t stayed on top hmand and Tom alberg on the group that we just seen they’re right at the top of the leaderboard four aces in a row now Peter sand after dropping on Lane three this is him on lane four now line looks good Pace looks good that’s how you follow up a drop shot it’s an ace for Peter suland on lane four 40 K can now on lane four not quite finally M Carson on lane four riding the rough haven’t seen too many players try this shot today but it’s worked out very nicely for him Michael Carlson picking up an eighth on lane four looking at the results we can see tomberg Oscar land weren’t able to keep up their run of Aces it’ll be four aces in a row for both of them so we’ll be watching all of the players play Lanes three and four and then we’ll be following the one of the final Elite groups around all 18 Lanes of this course that’s Chris Tim Vic there on Lane three he started off his round with two aces in a row we w we know he won’t get an ace now on Lane three it will be a two and now this is Eric hon on Lane three front door shot oh not quite catching the dish very very close for Eric that’s typically how you miss these City go holes you don’t normally end up right next to the hole you’re normally right next to the dish good a there on lane four CH Tim Vic now on lane four going for the approach of riding the rough coming down the left hand side of the hole Yeah you can see it puts the ball on a really nice line it’s definitely the riskiest shot though I have seen people in different tournaments leave the edge of the lane by hitting the B too hard and going over the rough we’re going to see now Eric hson attempt to do the same thing ride the rough beautiful yeah it’s a risky shot but it does send the ball off on a really nice line towards the hold Eric heson picking up an ECE on lane four early days yet of course but Tom alberg is playing very well five Aces out of six lanes for Tom same for Oscar holand five Aces out of six for a young player oh what was that on Lane three dear dear me not even sure what shot was being attempted there should save the two though from this position okay I’ll try and put that to the back of your mind move on to the next Lane now the news from haga is Gunner benon former winner of the Swedish Adventure Golf Masters that was 2023 where he won an automatic qualification into the wmf world Adventure Golf Tour final he has started his round so we should be seeing gun and very soon Gunner started off with an ace on Lane one back door shot now for Lane three not quite pacy enough but ends up very well well he thinks about shot for that’s get good Ace out on lane four see Gunna bankson in the background just about prob we start starting Lane three soon yeah another good Ace on lane four okay Gana bankon now former Swedish Adventure Golf Masters 2023 winner tempting Lane three not quite the right line so that be a two for gun of Bankston on Lane three spee spe speech SCH Lane three now another back door attempt line wasn’t quite right the pace is good line not quite right to get correct line up that hill towards the hole got bankon now next to T Lane four looks like he’ll be going for the line that goes misses the hold on the right for the back door shot is it going to catch a dish yes it does gner Bankston picks up Ace on lane four we saying the alternate star of shot riding the rough missing the hole on the left caught the dish in the hole it’s an ace on lane four Ryan and Fen commenting it’s good to see the aces rolling in that is going to be the story of this tournament the story of this course Huger definitely favors the Aces and the aggressive play and we just see another one there on Lane three come oh front door Ace attempt there on Lane three very very close while we wait for the players I know we can only just see in the background but this is what Lanes one and two look like let’s take a look L four now going down the right hand side yeah good Ace much more more Pace Reliant going down the right hand side if you get the pace it’s okay the alternate shot of riding the rough and going down the left hand side much more forgiving on the pace the line is much better but you Tommy lanter coming back from the Moravian Adventure Golf Masters along with tomberg the only two players to have played in all WF world Adventure Golf Tour events this season it’s Tommy lanter from Finland on Lane three going for the back door riding the rough it’s up the rough it’s down the rough it’s in the hole for Tommy lant on Lane three great shot there from Tommy Three Aces after three lanes we just seen Tommy pick up his hattick there another back door attempt line wasn’t quite right is it going to stay up just about I hey Tommy lanter now three aces in a row for Tommy lanter from Finland he’ll be looking to make it for here on lane four riding the rough passing the hold on the left up the slope down the slope trying to catch a dish can Tommy lanter make it for aces in a row he hasn’t ridden the rough where is he he’s okay though Tommy lanter with four aces in a row now great start for by the Finn Robert this is Robert moff now on lane four going for the shot that we seen most players do today I think that’s fair to say missing the hold on the right and then coming back for the back door shot too pacy way too pacy L free now front door attempt pace is good great shot it’s in the hole back door attempt here yet catches the dish very nicely it’s in for an ace on Lane three four now oh it’s in the bunker just about out though for two save can’t believe that didn’t go to be difficult now to save the two but he does it he does it good to sa there on Lane three next up this is Eric Bing now on Lane three Eric currently on two Aces out of two well make that threee Ace without three and make that a hattick by Eric bowling so looking at the leaderboard see Tommy Lan is still doing very well five Aces out of six Anders shedin missing the ace on lane four this is staffan folin now on Lane three Landers tries to save a two on lane four it’s an ace for staan on Lane three next up yokam ring on Lane three one of the most iconic beards on the wmf world Adventure Golf Tour in fact St F’s pretty good as well beard didn’t help him there though that Ace Miss on Lane three for yakam ring look at those Two Beards we’ve got right now in the frame oh no there’s a drop shot there yakim on Lane three next up Roger senson Roger finds himself in no man’s land as well oh dear so very soon we’ll be seeing the final group of elite players that’ll be in about 15 minutes and then we will be following them around this beautiful course here at hagga but now though is staan fing on lane four going for the shot missing the hole on the right back door how the pace it’s good enough to catch the dish that’ll be an ECE for staan folin on lane four next up your cam ring oh not quite not quite enough he would have liked that after dropping the shot on Lane three he’ll have to live with a two there on lane four Tommy lanter continues to stick on the top of the leaderboard St Aces now after eight Lanes as we watch Roger senson now on lane four not quite this is bujon Nielson now we can see On LAN free we could just swap beon Nielson with Roger senson from the previous group it would be group of three magnificent beards in it unfortunately Fate has determined that’s not to be Sebastian cenen now on Lane three going for the front door Pace looks good oh beautiful shot there from Sebastian copin on Lane three all for your having looking at results you can see Eddie suland has started but Tommy lanter look at that seven Aces after eight Lanes believe this is Eddie soderland now yet picking up an ace on Lane three three aces in a row for Eddie sod and Monta on Lane three okay back to the C Captain Hans olon now on lane four Hans opting to ride the rough missing the hole on the left lovly stuff there from Hans Allison see our final group just out now it’s Richard Ricard lochner picking up an ace on Lane three the High Roller member of the Swedish passing team than named The High Roller born 1972 now mattius haglof Mr C it’s his name in The Swedish pting team can he keep his call now on Lane three looks pacy but it’s AC for matus haglof on Lane three Mr Cool there picking up an ace on on Lane three finally Now Kevin sunstrom the putting Pro another member of the Swedish putting team got three players in this group going for the front door so Kevin sunstrom the only member of the Swedish patent team in this group not to make the ace on Lane three socalled putting Pro perhaps needs a bit more training over now to Ricard lner High Roller career earning 160,000 United States dollars going down the right just catches the and it’s in for Ricard lochner and Ace on lane four next up mattius haglof Mr C Mr Cool drops it in the cup very nicely it’s an ace for mattius haglof on lane four finally the putting Pro then Kevin sunstrom 25 Tom alberg from Finland 26 so those are the kinds of scores that the players will have to contend with today of course best best players will be looking to go slightly lower than that still Tomy lanter nine under after 13 Lanes from the novice class we’ve got Frederick niilson on 24 so of all the players that finished their round Frederick Nielson Eric harson currently tied on 24 it’s the best score of the day so far the players who have finished their round still though a lot of Aventure golf to play here at haa we’re just about to follow that group with three of the members of the Swedish Pon team in it Ricard the High Roller lochner Matias Mr Cole haglof and Kevin the putting Pro sunstrom well names that they’ve given to themselves of course but we’ll see how well that holds up just watching them here on Lane six this is what the players are faced with on Lane six good chance of a ace here so Mattias Mr Co haglof now on Lane six starting players will be starting over to the left that all have a aiming point now Kevin sunstrom the putting Pro so that’s what you want past the hole up the hill if you get the pace right there’s a very very small dish there Lane seven now the classic of City Golf the double cake pretty much every city golf course I can think of in Sweden has a cake of sun form this one’s got two tiers oh dear the High Roller failing there to get up the second tier next mattius hagglof Mr Cool how will he fair with the two tiered cake down the back now this could be a difficult shot for two see it is beautiful in the background there mattius won’t be thinking about that now he needs that Mr cold energy to save the two here on Lane seven the double cake well he’s up but he will drop a shot Kevin sunstrom now the pting pro can he show his Swedish pting team teammates how it’s done yes very nice there from Kevin sunstrom on Lane seven for Ricard lockner the first to attempt it not quite catching the dish next up mattius haglof Mr cool we saw him struggling just now on the double cake obstacle not quite catching the dish there good attempt though Now Kevin sunstrom the pting pro can he get an ace here where the others have failed we’ve seen him just come off an ace on Lane seven G no for rard locked on there picking up two on Lane nine out of all of the lanes this is one of them where it’s not that likely to Ace difficult shot this one matus Hof [Music] going for the outside track and Kevin sunstrom still the best result posted of the day so far 24 by Eric hson that looks good oh not quite that’s what you want to do though going for the ace double rebound very very difficult shot though to get right required on this line Ricard lock now yet up the hill on the bridge down the hill rebound in the hole it’s an ace for Ricard lochner the High Roller really nice uh strategy on this Lane it’s one that I always enjoy watching very interesting line you got to go over the rough up the bridge down the ramp into the bricks rebound quite technical but beautiful to watch as we’ve just seen when it goes right so that was that over the rough up the bridge down the bridge looks like he didn’t quite get the rebound sunr now bit LOF there at the back of the lane oh not quite there from Kevin so he’ll drop on Lane 10 glad we saw that Ace from Rickard really really nice stuff when it goes couple of different ways you can go about it need a bit of luck here to get the ace not an easy shot at all now I think you play the back door shot but if it does go in the front door you count that as luck being on your side it’s all about the direction that the ball comes out of when you enter the the first Hill Rickard there picking up her two on lane 11 over now to Mr Co mattius haglof so watch the initial path of the board here yeah up the hill a hits the flag that’s exactly what you want an ace there from mattius on lane 11 great stuff K sunstrom now yeah up the hill see that’s what happens if you don’t hit the flag you sort of trickle back to the hole but it’s very very tough really your chances of the ace dependent on on hitting that flag and you have to hit it really Square on Lane 12 door Ace [Music] rard Locka now yep going down the right hand side and then it’s about the pace to carry it into the dish perfect shot there we’ve seen a few from him today that’s an ace for Ricard lochner the High Roller on Lane 12 matus hack L now also not bothering with the ramp I don’t think we’ll see that in play today going down the right now so about the pace you just want it to trickle down that Hill it was a bit Pacey but it was AC for mattius haglof on Lane 12 Kevin srong now the pting pro face looks good is it a bit wide there perfect perfect stuff there from Kevin sunstrom the pting pro on Lane 12 to see there Ricard lochner trickling his way down Lane 13 another one similar to 11 really where you need a bit of luck on your side just it’s downhill all the way and you just Trickle the ball down you pick an Aiming spot hope that luck is on your side this is mattius hack off now Defender off through the hills LAN I find is very weather dependent this one depending on how warm the green is the sun’s been on the green affecting the trajectory of the ball as it rolls down those two Hills so you’d say probably not likely to see many aces here today and tomorrow depending on the weather conditions look at that shot though beautiful background of the harbor oh it’s brutal isn’t it good attempt though from Kevin sunstrom e do you want to miss the both the obstacle there to go through for a rebound that’s good yeah see that is the danger of this Lane hitting the obstacle there I think that’s Ricard lochner so here I have a chance to save two well he’s done it again this is a nightmare so this will be for three he’s hit the obstacle on the right he’s hit the obstacle on the left can Rickard lock another High Roller finally get through them there it is there’ be two Drop shots on Lane 14 that’s is H off now I did say earlier this Lane probably one of the most dangerous on the course because of those two obstacles mattius is through though the line not quite right though and Kevin Systrom not quite but he’s avoided danger but after if your Line’s right you got every chance of making the Ace Ricard lockner now coming off of a four on Lane 14 we going for a rebound there not what I expected could be a new strategy since the tournament last year matus Hof well did work for him Ricard lner picked up a a that’s one of the shots back he dropped two on Lane 14 absolutely beautiful course as you can see this one very generous dish around Lane 15 you can see Eddie Sutherland in the background on Lane 16 Lane 16 along with the lane 14 we’ve seen probably the only other lane with real significant Danger on it but for now it’s Kevin tomstom the pting pro going down Lane 15 yeah and that’s a good Ace from Kevin oh Matthew hlo looks like he’s found the bunker on Lane 16 manages to escape though Kevin sunstrom now on 16 most players will be actually trying to go through that bunker so up the hill on the right down the hill through the bunker like that and then with enough Pace to get out of the bunker and into the hole great demonstration of the perfect way to play that lane from Kevin sunstrom Ricard lockner now Lane 17 quite an easy Ace this one just trickle the ball down yep no problems for Ricard mattius Hof next 170 mat is going for the rebound very generous this this one so even though that look like it’s out because of the generous dish that will go back into the hole for mattius and Ace on 17 and again it looked like maybe he missed it but the dish is really really generous on 17 so Three Aces for our GR e okay looking at the results then you can see best score posted staan food in 215 underpath Tommy lant that we following for a little while already can’t see him on the screen but he’s one of the players group of players that have posted 27 okay for e than oh for e so right at the top at the moment we have staffan folin 21 15 under par long his way seven aces in a row still six rounds though of Adventure Golf to play over this weekend for e e for you’re wondering why there’s a black screen at the top left one of the power banks that used to charge the cameras has died but we’re working on getting a replacement at the moment so we’ll bring that stream back up at the moment our local production team that we’re using here in hagger being fantastic carry a lot of spares and Replacements just in case this kind of thing happens e e a score posted from the novice category still 24 by Frederick Nelson which is the second best score posted from the professional category Carson also with a 24 Stefan folin now though at the top of the leaderboard for now after one round with a great round of 21 only three shots that were not Aces and they were all twos Tom alberg also doing very well third currently the young Oscar holand in third place joint with Tom o back for e for e e for e for yeah we’re just about to see G of Bankston now ATT Lane four Gunner Bankston coming off a first round of 30 puts him middle of the pack towards bottom winning it to find a dish and it does got a bster with an ace there on lane four he’s got his work cut out if he wants to win another automatic qualification into the final like he did last year at the Swedish Aventure golf Masters e e Well’s joining us now we are just in round two of the city gol tour 2024 here at haga this is the second Tournament of the WF world Adventure Golf Tour 23 or 2425 season where for the first time in WF World adventure go tour history players are fighting for both City Golf Tour ranking points and WF world Adventure Golf Tour olivon now this is an ace I’m really going to look very silly after saying this is one of the more difficult Lanes well that’s more like the typical result we’re used to seeing here on 13 Lane 14 then Johan Carlson who’s first to attempt going through the two obstacles nicely through what’s the pace like it too fast yeah oh but just find a dish okay Johan Carlson with an ace on Lane 14 his ninth Ace of the round next uplo Morgan monter Morgan through the obstacles and he finds a Dish as well Ace for Morgan Manta on Lane 14 only his third Ace of the round however so he is struggling a bit this round h Ace for Hans on Lane 14 hans’s 68 of the round Lane 15 now it is possible to go straight for the hole we’ve seen some players of good a on Lan three there we’ve seen some players attempting to nudge just a small tap off that rock to the left of the holders they looking at it quite a generous dish around the hold here on Lane 15 Johan Carlson going straight for the hold and it’s definitely worked out for for him Johan Carson picks up an ace on 15 is 11th of the round very very good round from Johan next up Morgan manter Morgan again opting to go straight for the hole not quite so from the novice class from the bread class Frederick nson one to look out for after posting 2425 from the professional class ER lson two rounds of 24 Stefan folin 21 and 27 but an average round score of 24 Johan Carson with a couple more races and pretty much 16 and 18 are guaranteed so he could be tied in third place or better after the end of this round for now though Hans olison on Lane 15 he’s favoring the rebound shot and it works for him Hans olison with an ace on Lane 15 danger involved in Lane 16 players will be looking to go through the bunker so when you start you follow the outside Hill you go through the bunker and hope to roll back towards the hole don’t want to stay in the bunker that’s the danger Johan Carlson first yeah now does he have the pace to come out with the bunker oh my goodness after a massing a great round Johan Carlson has gone out of the lane on 16 now this is tough really wants to save this to to keep what’s almost a perfect round going he hasn’t dropped yet this round he’s had 10 Aces he’ll want this but this is tough Johan Carson save two on Lane 16 beautiful what a save from Yan next up on 16 Morgan Mana definitely a softer shot I think that’s two shot too soft yeah bit too soft that shot didn’t give it chance to get on the right direction towards the hole Morgan MTA will pick up a two on 16 finally now for our featured Group H Olson H is out of the lane as well my goodness well we know it is possible to save a two in this situation we’ve just seenan to it Hans himself posted 26 in the first round he’ll be on track for another 26 if he can escape here can see the Swedish pting team top he’s wearing oh is it enough no not quite not quite good news for Hanzo is that we do finish with two very very good Ace opportunities very very forgiving dish around 17 so if you go down the left you just want to just tap off the Rocks just the slightest touch off the bricks it should trickle into the hole bit too hard 17 is not one you want to miss Morgan monter now 7 need to be much softer ER better oh my goodness really not one you want to miss Lane 17 fact it has a 1.25 average all the players today 91 Aces 31 twos so is one especially at this level the players will be looking to Ace it’s a soft touch they’re looking for of the bricks yeah that’s more like it from Hans odison okay so we’re just about to finish our second
