The Minnesota Timberwolves outscored the Denver Nuggets 60-37 in the 2nd half as the Timberwolves defeat the Nuggets in Game 7, 98-90 and advance to the Western Conference Finals. Jaden McDaniels (23 points, 6 rebounds), Karl-Anthony Towns (23 points, 12 rebounds) and Anthony Edwards (16 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists) combined for 62 points in the victory, while Jamal Murray (35 points, 4 3pt. FG) and Nikola Jokic (34 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists) combined for 69 for the Nuggets in the losing effort.

Minnesota’s 20 point comeback was the largest in a Game 7 in the play-by-play era (1997-98), passing
Cleveland Cavaliers, 18 points vs Magic (R1, 2024)

Minnesota reaches the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2004 when they faced the Lakers (2-4). This is the only other time Minnesota has made it to the Western Conference Finals

This is the 27th time that a team defeated the defending champions after losing to them the postseason prior. Most recently, the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers in the 2017 Finals (4-1) after losing to them in the 2016 NBA Finals (3-4).

Karl-Anthony Towns joins Kevin Garnett (2003-04) as the only Timberwolves to go total 200 points and 100 rebounds in a playoff run

  1. Let that be any other star everyone would be clowning tf out of them for choking a game 7 like that. smh

  2. Yeah Dr amthonyhy uoreee moreee pfff cccc purcse mor e e c h K I spn sp ch E ee I s s s yeah b o T o f billion r ooo kannn greee ftammm

  3. So this is supposed to be an uncut video of the Wolves comeback, and yet it:
-Starts after they’ve already got a 9-0 run going (would that run be part of the comeback?)
-Starts with a missed shot, weird place to pick for the “start” of the comeback
-Ends with the Wolves still down one, they never tied or led in the video.
I get they mean there were no cuts in the action by “uncut”, but this is not an uncut video of the comeback 😂

  4. Couldn't wa5ch the game because I knew MN would pizz it away… it's what they do. Imagine my surprise when MN won?

  5. for the record, we let their coach run to the court barking at the refs, Murray threw ice packs to the court, refs cheated by calling goal tending on Naz reid and a bunch of phantom calls….we still win

  6. Those were two BS calls at the end of the quarter with the terrible goal tending call on Reid and the phantom foul on KAT against Jokic… Timberwolves were playing 6 on 5 and still won

  7. 10:17 total phantom call to help Jokic. If MN hadn't won, all the phantom calls to help Jokic [usually called on KAT since its a huge Denver advantage if he gets into foul trouble early – which he did in FIVE games this series] would have been talked about a lot more.

  8. How you gonna make Ant the thumbnail?! Anthony Edwards completely choked this game, he was like 2 for 10. The thumbnail should be KAT.

  9. 6:05 – Pause here. Press the . key to step forward frame by frame (the , key steps backwards). THIS IS HOW YOU GUARD JOKIC FOLKS. The bias refs let Jokic intentionally elbow KAT in the neck. Notice how KAT doesn't care and then doesn't let Jokic get closer and pushes back. Legacy game by KAT.

  10. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son so that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life” God loves you no matter what, never forget that!😊😊%.’

  11. I have my doubts with KAT (and still somewhat do) but I have to give credit where credit is due, he was mightily impressive in Game 7. Efficient offensively, and had his moments defensively too. Yeah that one tiny moment near the end where he should've called timeout but ended up with an inexcusable turnover was irritating to see, but he recovered quickly to slam the final dagger down the Nuggets' throat. Very impressive game all round by KAT.

  12. The 3 point shot has changed the game in more ways than we thought…it's also more stupid. With a 20 point lead, Nuggets firing 3s like they're behind…eventually, that's going to be examined one would think.

  13. I live in Charleston, South Carolina and I traveled to game 6 and watched game 7 in a Minneapolis hotel. I went to celebrate the life of my aunt who passed away. last time my dad watched a game was that 2004 season. my aunt is the person who went with him and bought the black throwback KG jersey. i got to wear it to my first Timberwolves game at 22 years old with pops. So symbolic and such a great healing experience being back in my home state after 12 years. #wolvesback

  14. Denver coach is an arrogate, privleaged and sensitive white man who thinks everything should go his way and he needs to put the bottle down. Here you call a reporter dumb because he asked a legit question. Learn to take the good with the bad. Grow up.

  15. The Wolves won in Denver 3 times in a 7 game series. That's what's even more unlikely !!!

  16. Something that genuinely makes me think the nba is scripted. Gordon completely stop shooting 3s in the last game?!? He was a sniper the entire fucking series but decided to just not take any shots?!?😂😂 bro on Jesus this stuff is all scripted

  17. in every game7 recap pf this game is Ant face on it and he had a lousy game with 25% fg and 20% 3P.

  18. Interesting – didn’t get a chance to watch this when it happened as I wasn’t home until the 4th quarter – this “comeback” for the Wolves was actually pretty messy, looked to be based more on Nuggets going cold and opening the door, and Wolves struggled to go through it. And I say that as a Wolves fan.

I’m nervous about all the media hyping the Wolves too much – I don’t want it going to their heads because then they’ll brick it.

MN sports teams are notorious for this 😢 #ptsd
